Somehow, knowing that filled her with a sort of relief. She didn't know why she was worried about that. It wasn't her business. So she set it aside.
"I see." She took a sip over the coco. It warmed her as it went down. "Sorry you had to trip over me. I didn't want to disturb you by climbing into the bed last night."

Miranda chuckled. "Alright." She set the coco on the night stand and got up. The cramp was gone now. "I feel better, thanks again." she said with a nod.
Stretching just a little she look toward the door and back toward Luke. "Well. I guess now could be my first try at making breakfast. Eggs and toast?"

Miranda nodded, pulling on her robe and tying her hair in a knot. "Gotcha. Breakfast. Then inventory." she said determinedly. "Think we can get her to bring us a motorcycle? Or a car?" she said, with a sarcastic grin. The question was rhetorical. Transporation was most likely banned here.
She headed to the kitchen to get the ingredients she'd need.

"Think we can get her to stay and give us some tips on cooking?" she asked hopefully. She wasn't sure how this would go, but she was determined to try. There were eggs in the fride, a pan hanging over the island in the middle of the kitchen. She didn't know about spices, so she'd stick to salt and pepper.
"Can you pull down that frying pan for me?" she asked, pointing at a small one.

Miranda stared at him for a second, taking the pan. Then she began to laugh. She leaned against the stove until she got a hold on herself.
"I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me. I swear. All this make it feel like were the last two people on earth." she commented, putting the pan on the stove

Luke looked at the woman next to her. It did sound like they were the last people on earth, but the only thing was that they were just really miles and miles from any place near by. They were in the middle of nowhere. "It's just what our parents want us to think. Hoping that no one around will make us feel like we need to breed." He pointed out.

Miranda nodded. "Yea." Thinking about it made her feel weird. Like she was a guinea pig in an experiment or something. She didn't like the feeling that all of this was under their control.
"I'll go find a cook book. I'll be back." she said, going into the library.
Finding one was easy. There were many to choose from but there were broken into sections. Basic Breakfast Meals was the one she pulled off the shelf. She returned to the kitchen and Luke.

Miranda was glad there wasn't much to making this, so she got busy while Luke made up the list.
"I'm not sure. I brought toiletries that will last me for awhile. Maybe a jacket for when we go out at night." She didn't have very warm clothes with her at the moment. "And some work clothes. I'm guessing we won't have anyone cleaning the house or doing yard work." she said. She could help but sigh. At least that gave them some things to do.

Miranda paused, thinking. "Hold on a second." she told him. She started opening cabimets and the fridge taking stock of the things they had. It seemed the place was well stocked already. They shouldn't need anything for at least a week. The only thing this place lacked was sweets and more frozen meals.
"Well, we're still good. You can put frozen pizzas or junk food if you want. Oh and...." she walked back to the fridge carefully pulled out a plastic container of mushrooms. "Do you like these? If you do I can try and keep them, but otherwise they're going in the trash."
