Rin held out a talon in hopes of catching him if he were to fall again, "I'm fine. What about you? You keep laying down on the job, little bird~"

There was a playfulness in her tone that hopefully alluded to the fact she wasn't seriously scolding him. She missed the fun herself so she would have to be fairly hypocritical.

"What'd I miss following Byr around in looptie loops?"

Mei bloot blinked and swirled her head around at the semi-familiar voice coming from the bunny eared mini scrambling towards her. "Yeaaaaaa its me." She replied in a slightly disappointed tone. The ghoul was ready to not be a mini anymore thanks.

Her little eyes squinted as she looked around. "Not a clue on either front." Swiveling her ears she listened quietly for a second. "I'm sure we'll find out soon enough. That owl thing over there seems to not want us here tho." She pointed a tiny purple paw at the bird sitting amongst the rubble.

Mitzi craned to see where Mei was pointing, and then nodded. "Oh, yeah, I guess that's a good sign, maybe? If they don't want us here, hopefully it's because there's something here for us to find. I know I'm ready to be a Reaper again, I want my spear." She sounded more confident than she felt, though, and she reached into her obi to pull out one of the shards she had found. The shards had led them here... so this place had to be something important, right?

If she had eyebrows one would've been quirked right now as Mitzi pulled the shard out of her little obi. Momentarily Mei had wished she'd been turned into a minipet that had a more humanoid form. Looking down at her little paws she felt the need to clench them but did not have the dexterity to do it.

"Yes, but as you know Mitzi. When does anything ever turn out good? There's always something that happens to catch us off guard. No matter where we are or what form we are in." She sighed. "I can only hope that we return home soon. It feels like I've been like this forever." Mei shifted as she sat, little rubbery squeaks could be heard every now and again with each movement.

"More like a rabbit-bear-thing I aint got a clue what a torterror's classified as, guy." He laughed to the foxfire-imp.

The owl was speaking, though, and his attention turned to him immediately, sharp teeth gritting around his cigar, "Well, we'd LIKE to go home, bub, but it's a bit tricky if we aint got any idea HOW." Enzo huffed, tapping his pipe on the ground before pointing a clawed paw at the massive bird. "Which way and we'll be outta' here like a bums' rush." War-wound and insults aside, he was happy to beat the information out of the sucker if need be.

Callin' them kids. Bah!

"That's what makes me worry...."

As Mitzi clambered up the debris to get closer to the owl, Mei followed her. Eyeing the thing as it huffed and puffed, ruffling it's feathers. She nodded in agreement with Mitzi's statement. "You could be a little more helpful of telling us how to get out if you want us out so bad."

Glacing at Mitzi for a second, Mei bloot unwrapped the shard she had wrapped her little rope around to keep from loosing it. She didn't really have pockets to carry it about with.

She looked at the shard for a few seconds before slowly approaching the owl creature, the shard in her mouth. Mei placed it a foot or so away on the ground, keeping enough distance between herself and the owl that she felt comfortable with. "There's what I have. I just want to go home."

Mei had been ready from the moment she'd woken up in this form.

Poke would be happy to return home any time, but if it involved taking away her fragments, she wasn't letting them go. As such, she was still busy listening to whatever the fragments were telling her, but cast glares every now and again at the grumpy old owl and everyone that dared approached.

What the jack was going on? How did they get here? She still had no idea, and the fragments were telling her a thing either. With a sigh, she curled around herself tighter.
