The nasty little beast had sliced her hide open, and now the cuts were stinging. Halith snapped at the Blue again, keeping safely under Plexith's wing.
I will stay here as long as I can still reach the wher, she agreed.
Suddenly, a Crimson appeared, and Halith looked up abruptly to make sure it wasn't an enemy dragon. She remembered the Brown very well at the moment.

Cetalese
Defending from Atkin
Cetalese didn't bother replying. Putting down your opponent to try to throw them off track wasn't really her style. Instead, she blocked the blow to her face. What was up with men trying to hit her in the face?
Cetalese let the thought slide by and dropped her arm, settling herself securely on her feet for his next attack.

Defending Zorn from Ca'mil
Hans, facing the dragons as he was, saw the danger coming before Zorn did. He abandoned his single-handed attempt to knock out the rider-- and that burned, since the dragon had just been distracted by Dorline and her own rider-- and tossed himself in the way of the club, hunching a shoulder into the blow.
It stung, but not as badly as he imagined it would have if it had hit Zorn in the head.
"They've brought reinforcements," Hans warned Zorn. "We may be outnumbered here."

Zorn
Attacking D'lin
While Hans defended him from the unseen attacker, Zorn tried to hit D'lin again. It was only after he had thrown a few punches that he realized Hans was speaking to him.
"What?" he asked, glancing quickly over his shoulder at him. His eyes darted to the Crimson beyond and his mouth tightened before he looked back to D'lin. He glanced at Zornsk's fallen form, breathing so shallowly. He didn't want to leave his wher here to be killed, but if they knocked him out, they would still kill Zornsk. There was little way out of this. Maybe if they ran, it would be enough of an incentive to chase him instead of hurting Zornsk...

Now the dragon was getting involved in human squabbles? Dorline took the blow with a soft exhalation of air and then got her bearings.
"It doesn't feel so good when it's your partner does it!" she shouted at the idiotic beast and kicked out at the Green again before struggling to her feet and hitting the dragon with hard blows, keeping the limb between herself and Eliza. "Does it!"

The blue wher wasn't feeling to good about the way things were going but running away did not seem to be an option either and so warbling in pain and worry he lunged at the bronze again..only to be surprised by the arrival of the crimson and fall short.

The women managed to turn aside some of his last blow but Atkin wasn't about to let up on the pressure, now that he had her on the defensive he was going to press his advantage and moving towards her to drive her backwards he tried to punch her in the stomach in the hopes of making her loose her breath.

The little blues plight was given no mercy by Plexith and snarling at the intention of his failed attack he swept out with his claws to bat the smaller beast away. Whers Plexith had decided were stupid creatures at the best of times. He'd had no problems with them before but now..now he'd just as soon smack them as look at them.

Confused

Velath warbled in confusion when the woman tried to attack her - and in her fury and emotion seemed to ...miss...tilting her head she looked at the woman. She was angry about her Wher - she got that but she didn't think smacking a dragon was going to help. On the plus side she wasn't attacking hers anymore. 'Elizamine..what should I do?' She asked her.
'just keep her occupied' Was the response and so she kept her arm where it was for the time being.

Eliza was hurting..like seriously hurting..but with Velath occupying the womens fury she might be able to well..at least hurt her. 'What should I do Elizamine?' Came hte dragons question and Eliza responded even as she snuck around the green leg to punch the women again. 'Just keep her occupied'

Defending against Zorn

D'lin was overjoyed by the arrival of Cheryth and Ca'mil - though he had to wonder what had kept them up. In anycase it might just turn the tides in their favor or at teh very least help to even things up a little bit. The handlers seemed to be a bit dismayed by their arrival as well - perhaps they were hurting just as much as the riders were.
An idea began to form in D'lin's mind - one that Plexith was torn about - but D'lin having a dragon and knowing that the bond between handler and wher was quite similar did not want to hand out the type of pain that came with loosing a partner...if they could just see reason then maybe they could all walk away from this...
"Yes thats right..we called reinforcements - and there's more on the way" He told the handler in front of him "But I'll make you a deal..you and your friends get your Whers up and leave the Weyr,, promise never to come back and we'll let you go..otherwise I'll order my bronze to kill your brown and her green the second he gets the chance'

The bronzes strike and her's were not timed well together - since his sent the wher out of her way and caused her to miss...still the bronze had made a good strike so she didn't grumble at him for it.

Annoyed by the interference of the second man and spun around to strike hi with her club instead as revenge for his interference. D'lin needed her help and the longer she dallied here with this man the harder it would be for her to effectively help him.

Going to Ceta's Defense
The Blue wher wasn't doing so well now, was he! Halith bugled loudly as she saw Plexith knock the wher end over end. If he got up after such a hit, she would be very surprised.
Cetalese's call distracted her from watching the Blue, waiting to see if he would get up, and she pulled back from under Plexith's wing and looked for her rider. The Blue's handler was hurting Cetalese, and that wasn't going to fly with Halith.
Coming, Cetalesemine!
Halith bounded over and slid to a stop next to them, bugling loudly right at the handler. This was the one who had been hurting her! Jerk!
