At Harrison's low, accusing growl, Jordan rocked back on his haunches, startled and confused and hurt. "I - what?" Had he been that inconsiderate? Yeah, he and Rep had been curled up, not doing anything, but it hadn't been for long, wasn't going to be for long, except maybe that was how it had looked ... Calm down, Ferros hissed. In a display of spectacular timing, the scareon with the bone leg flopped down nearby. "Join the club," Jordan snapped at her distractedly. Was she going to try to take out her frustrations on them again? He'd have to keep an eye on her, just to be sure. Rep's voice was a relief and an irritant all at once. "I didn't say anything," he growled in response, pushing down the urge to go and twine around the other cat as they'd done before, just to reassure himself. "I'm going to try. Wish me luck." There was a shard floating nearby, relatively over a little patch of what looked like flowers. Jordan stalked over to it, bracing himself for a second round of horrifying pain. As he stepped into the patch of flowers, a wave of dizziness passed over him, the sense of emptiness amplifying and echoing in him, and he remembered. How had he forgotten his task? How had he forgotten what had happened so easily and readily, betrayed himself so much as to let himself trust? The shard itself floated just out of reach of his paws, and he sank back to all fours and turned to eye his lovers. God, he'd been so stupid. It was so painfully clear; they only wanted to use him, the way Harrison had accused him of doing a minute ago. He couldn't let them know that he knew. He kept his face composed, his ears up, stopped his tail from lashing. He couldn't make himself return to them. If he did, they would expect him to be as close and affectionate and loving as he had been, and he couldn't bear the thought of anyone touching him. Vaguely aware of a pair of eyes watching her, Vixi felt that twinge of paranoia coming from her crystal. She flipped herself around with her haunches, ending up still in a supine position, but facing the opposite direction. She was so tense that her fur stood on end and her claws dug into the ground. Her head and eyes darted from mini to mini, but there were so many around that she couldn't find one directly eying her. Where any of them against her? That had to be it. They were all plotting against her. They were all going to try to take her shard. Quote: Vixi HP: 1 Type: Light Location: The Void Fragments: 1

As he opened his jaw in mid-run for catching the floating crystal, he felt something strange...something is not right...he can't feel the tip of his tail... OH NO HIS TAIL IS DISAPPEARING!!! While his eyes widened in shock, his body has already vanished up to his torso. He didn't dare to blink. He didn't dare to move. He didn't dare to do ANYTHING at all. As his vision gradually turned black, he can hear a rattling noise. And a shrill shriek... Quote: Name: Airn [Native mini] Location: Underground City? Kiwi didn't know where Mmur had wandered off to. In fact, he hadn't encountered the odd minipet clansmen since their journey through the Scarefari. He could only hope he was safe. As for the rest of the group, he vaguely almost seemed to recognize a few faces. That bird who had kept squawking so loudly on Seafear Island had to be one of the Amity council members. Only she would talk like that. And the dark daeva with her ... could he be that Dragon too?? ... The horseman was skeptical. But honestly, other than Mmur, he had not recognized a single clansman in the entire crowd.
Strange then, to find this blue pixie daeva sniffing around him, almost as if searching for something she had lost. ... Was she someone he knew?? ...
"Excuse me," he spoke up, on careful guard in case his instincts might prove false. "Who might you be?? ..."

Still stumbling around, drunk in the toxic fumes from the flowers, Edel became conscious of the fact that someone was speaking to her. That spoilers ... looked a little familiar, she wasn't sure who, nor did she really care. “You ... yes shock, no, are you trying to trick me?!?” she flapped her wings at him accusingly. She wasn't very aware of her lack of coherence.
“Who are you and what do you want?” she demanded petulantly. Anyone standing in her way of becoming a minipet and attaining true peace will not be forgiven!Edel the Ice Ring Wyvling Faction: Amityville Element: Water HP: 12/30 Fragments: 0 Attempt: 3

"Bwah!" Desperately reaching out for air-since he can't really try to breathe in that nasty sewage water, Airn resurfaced from beneath a murky pool of water...or some liquid resembling water, he just don't know. While swimming towards the dry land, his vision stumbled across a familiar figure draped in fallen leaves' color-which is Azure the Sunekosuri, currently jumping and running and stumbling while chasing a strange, glimmering object... Wait. Where have I saw that before? Asked Airn to himself, but he seemed cannot remember when and where he saw one of those fragments...it seemed like something is missing from his memory...but he can't say that for sure. There's another shard floating just nearby. Would he try to catch it? Yes. But strangely enough, he felt a strong feeling of deja-vu. He felt like he has been performing this before, chasing the fragment towards a cube-shaped thing... BZZZZZZZZZZTTTTTTT. Yes. Along with getting electrocuted. But not with fainting. Suddenly a familiar set of voices drifted to the battered bird's ears. Jerry's head turned, feathered brows knit as he tried to remember.... wait... wait! "JORDAN!!" He fluttered, zigzagging erratically with his damaged feathers as he made his way towards the cluster of cats, suddenly launching himself at Jordan's head, "JORDAN OH THANK GOD I THOUGHT I'D LOST YOU GUYS AND THAT I HAD DIED!" He smelled especially roasted. Quote: JerryHP: 2/30 Element: Fire: - Once per battle you may roll 1d6. This the amount of EXTRA BURN DAMAGE you to do your opponent for TWO TURNS. Rep reappeared? He reappeared, that was him, and he could still hear the screaming-
He didn't answer Rep's jibe.
The whine definitely became more growly.
Wish me ******** you," Harrison snarled as Jordan walked over to the same flower patch. "You stay away from them." Even though Jordan was trying to project calm, Harrison returned the look with a look of distinct menace.
"You don't know what to do with that s**t, it's my job, entrusted to me, and obviously Rep's not going to do it, he's a completely ******** useless as usual."
His ears went flat back and he hissed loudly at Jerry.Quote: Faction: Moon Hunter Element: Light Items: BLOOD KEY, Shard (x1) HP: 14/30

Queen of everything was the last thing she was in that moment, she was on her side and if one looked closely she was actually panting. Apparently she wasn't too keen on having a living body let alone a tiny scareon one.
"Gravity is broken," was all she offered to Rep as she glanced up before quickly lowering her head again shivering violently, please don't switch. Let them stay on the invisible floor where they don't crash into pointed towers please please please. When she stopped covering her eyes she eyed Rep again. "You dissipated." Her voice held some curiosity at this.
"Avoid doing that again." She eyed him wearily, "You might come back, but it does things to you. Even to us. Jack knows what it does to a human turned Mini and back again." A slight frown or what passed as one crossed her face. "Be careful." It was probably the nicest thing she had ever said to a hunter, "This place is weird even by our standards."
When Jordan spoke a single ear flickered towards him and she shifted just enough to look at him proper. "Calm down furball... we're all ******** and I'm too tired to honestly be pissed at you lot. For once you guys don't seem to know more then us and we're all equally screwed." She watched him stand up and frowned, "Don't... you don't even know what will ha-" He was gone stalking away and she only sighed covering her eyes again. They wouldn't listen, she wouldn't have either had it been one of them with Siddie, Shehk and herself in their shoes (paws?)
Then the third stalked after the second, Sammy frowned as she listened to them bicker, insulting Rep who last she checked they had been cuddling on. She glanced at Rep sitting up a bit, "******** hell. What happened to them?" Her ears folded down, "Did they dissipate too?"stats Faction: Amityvilly Type: Water HP: 28 Attempts 0/4 Looks like: this

LOCATION: The Void Zone Sammy got a nod. "I don't intend to do it again, it was ******** horrible." It was interesting at least to note that even people from Halloween thought this place was ******** crazy or at least odd. It wasn't a comfort but it was somewhat important.
Something definitely wasn't right. He'd just essentially died. And no one had even really bothered all that much, that was logical he told himself though, Jordan had come back, it was obvious that he would too. Still, he couldn't help but stand there, feeling useless as he watched Jordan attempt to get the same shard Harrison had gone for, and also failed.
He didn't say anything though, and it left Rep uneasy. What was going on over there and what did it do to people?
"Are... are you all right?" he hazarded hopefully to Jordan.
Harrison's response though made him freeze completely, startled at the hostile way the other cat responded to Jordan even attempting to get the shard. It wasn't normal. He was about to speak up, to ask both of them what the ******** they were on, get angry, shout, try and slap them out of it.
But the moon's comment was like hook in his side and he couldn't help himself, he shrank back as if he'd been slapped, ears back, hunkered down to the ground, everything about his body language fearful.
Useless as usual.
He could hardly even get words together.
"I ..I ..I don't.. I .." he curled his tail about his paws as he crouched as low as he could, his voice a fraction of its usual boisterous volume. "I don't..I don't know what's wrong."
Even the startling feathered missile that was Jerry didn't snap him out of it, he felt like the whole world had narrowed down and distanced and he didn't know what to do.

"You expect me to believe that, when last time I saw you you were torturing my boyfriend for the fun of it?" Jordan hissed at Sammy. Harrison's comments made his eyes narrow, and he noted how Rep shrank into himself at the criticism, a miserable and shaken ball of fur. It made anger ignite in the pit of his stomach, fury at Harrison's careless insult, fury at Rep for just wilting like that. "What the <********> are you doing?" he spat at them. "We're down here on hostile territory with no support and you're tearing him down? And you're just letting him?" Jordan! Jordan, something is wrong. Very wrong. Ferros's voice seemed to come from far away, the soft rumble of his presence gone tinny like a bad recording. That strange distance made it easy to ignore him. The sudden yelling and the flutter of feathers and talons around his head was the last straw. He reared up on his hind legs, front paw delivering a hard smack to Jerry's wing as the bird that was his friend (His friend? He had no friends; what was he thinking?) tried to land on him. The fur on his spine bristled into a ridge in an involuntary reaction as something snapped in his head. "What do you want from me?" he shouted at all of them, ears pinning back. "What do you want me to do? What do you want me to fix this time? Just have the courtesy to wait till my back's turned to laugh at me. Go on, take what you want so you can stop faking it." He crouched down, tail lashing furiously. "I don't have time to be nice. I have to ******** fix this." The shard hovered tantalizingly overhead, and he leaped for it. His paw touched it, and the pain seared through him again, taking the world away. Quote: Jordan Faction: Sun Hunter HP: 30/30 Element: Fire Location: The Void Keys: Glass key, blood key Roll: 3/3

The little bird was sent tumbling with a yelp, red gashes appearing on his wing as he spun weightlessly backward, drifting to a halt with his glasses somewhere else. Even so, he blinked back at the fluffed cat blindly, wounded wing held up to his own fluffed chest as a skinny little leg groped about for his glasses, "I... s-sorry it's just... hard to... to fly with... Didn't mean..." What was going on? He had hoped they'd be worried about him- at least Jordan, if no one else... Quote: JerryHP: 2/30 Element: Fire: - Once per battle you may roll 1d6. "Oh, so you care about him," Harrison snarled, backing up further. "I want you to sit down and shut up, for once in your miserable bossy-a** life, you've got to have control of everything, don't you, of him and me and things that aren't even your job to-"
A second scream.
"...to," he tried, mouth suddenly dry, and he couldn't have gotten smaller if he tried. It was happening. It was happening again, he could hear it, and it was all wrong, everything in this place was- and him... his throat constricted.
He swore miserably, distance growing between Rep and Jerry and Sammy and the place where Jordan had been, "...help," he said in a small voice, "somebody-" Nobody was going to help. It was him, it had always been just him...
Ha! Try again, you're on 2player. B0nez said.

"Good plan Flower Boy, welcome to my world, sucks doesn't it?" She resumed simply staying curled up and eyes covered. For herself dying and coming back was just, second nature. Rep and the others might worry but she was more use to it, still it was odd to know the hunters where coming back too.
Suddenly the two cats turned on Rep, and that was NOT what they had been doing seconds ago, they had been cuddling, looking like, well her scareons. Happy and friendly, now they where angry and hissing insults at each other, all while Rep, Rep was....
"Hey. Flower Boy." She sat up standing slightly moving closer. "The stones, the flowers, something. They touched something." She gave him a nudge with a furred paw rather then bone knowing the later would likely irritate the usually pissy hunter.
When she looked up Jordan was moving to another stone, "NO DON'T!" Her hissed warning was too late; he was gone. "Son of a b***h that's not going to help at all..."
She turned to Harrison next, he went from yelling to curling up, he was yelling at something, a voice? A voice. One only he could hear? Rep had implied weapons could talk but he had no weapon did he?
"Hey. In the flowers. Get over here. Stop yelling and get over here. That other one, he'll be back, get your s**t together." She started pacing frowning beside Rep. "You all aren't right you need to calm down and think dammit!" Was she the only sane one? Possibly.
Then again she was trying to calm hunters down and get them in order rather then killing them. Though the later seemed to be pointless considering the situation.stats Faction: Amityvilly Type: Water HP: 28 Attempts 0/4 Looks like: this

As Jordan spoke up, Rep glanced over obediently, still crouched low, eyes wide, despite his terror and helplessness trying to look eager, willing. He'd do whatever he could to fix this, useless or not. But again he flinched back as rather than the usual suggestions and logical solutions, he was berated for letting Harrison hurt him the way he had. He couldn't help it, and wasn't sure how he was supposed to.
"I'm s.." He wrestled with himself to stop the useless stumbling over words. "I'm sorry."
The attack on Jerry was unprovoked and unexpected from Jordan, something really wasn't right with either of them, and yet there was nothing he could do about it. There had been a game plan before, there had been intent and solid purpose, but now there was really nothing to stand on, he felt locked up and frozen, scared to speak, scared to move, in case it was boomeranged back on him.
Jordan leapt up at the shard and with a visual he would never get used to, dissipated again. He shuddered and looked away at the ground distantly, eyes glazed as he stared at nothing. "Something is wrong with them. The shards I think."
He sought out Harrison again, more out of reflex than anything else, he only ever had two options when he felt lost like this, it didn't matter if he was hurting, he'd made his damn choice regardless. The other cat was crouched down and from here, looked in pain. He got up on paws that felt like lead under him and headed towards him. People said he sought out trouble, maybe they were right, but right now he couldn't stay back and watch this, it just hurt too much. Even Sammy's very sensible comments fell on deaf ears.
"I need to help."
He closed the distance to Harrison, standing as tall as he could but unable to hide the way he was shaking and fluffed up with fear, not of physical reprisal but verbal. He steadied himself and as softly as he could, even with the damn lump in his throat asked.
"A..Ace? Ace, man. Are you okay?"
Please be okay, I need you both to be okay.
