Stabbing himself hadn't stopped the wretched song the chimera sang, but it did snap him to his sense. Shun grimaced as he pulled his blades out, cursing lowly as to why he thought that was ever a good idea. The damn bone creature was going to pay for this. Killing it would be a good way to shut it up.
Staggering forward, he went on to make his strike, clambering up a few of the bones before stabbing down into one of the other joints. Well, he tried to, but the pain from having jacking stabbing himself hadn't left yet, which also made it harder for him to balance. He fell away before he could make contact.

"AH! I am very sorry! I don't know what came over me!" Tseng cried out after realizing he had just punched one of the students. That was not the heroic thing to do at all. "Allow me to make it up to you," he said before bowing to Amrita, "Throat crusher!"Bone creatures might not have vocal chords but this might work still... right? The horseman flipped his way up towards the creature before striking a palm out to one of its throats. Maybe that could stop the sounds? HP: 35 Damage: 2 Boss: 45

"Augh.. Tiamat's s**t..." Jericho groaned as he pushed himself to his feet. Crashing like that hadn't felt too good at all. But it quelled the voices at least. Grimacing, he glared at the singing creature and took flight once more. With a snarl, he bundled his two fists together, then brought them down onto one of its three skulls.

Everyone's a critic, Enzo could only think dimly as he gently patted the riled up Bass, even dames with no visible ears. "Chill, Boss. We got bigger fish to fry, right?" His shin still hurt, but thankfully it seemed another crazed ghoul had plowed into the offending legs, giving him opportunity to limp away a bit and try to summon his rats back.
Madness was erupting around him, everyone seeming to be out of their minds from the so-called "music". "And the man at the back said everyone attack and it turned into a ballroom blitz," He sighed, shaking his head.
Even that stiffy Shun seemed to be having trouble. Had he just... stabbed himself?
"You know, the song aint THAT bad, it just needs a little backup. It's scattered is all. Without the scat, ahah." He was pretty sure the dragon-creature was not game for a jam session.
No one was listening. They were all too busy screaming and attacking each other and themselves.
"Well, aint this a fun vacation, hum?" He grunted to the bass that had been calmed and distracted by a stray masher rolling towards it, staring upward innocently.

Noticing the chimera again as she tried to shake off the torturous sound, Levi couldn't seem to target her mark effectively. Damn this vile music~! HP: 45/50

As the chimaera's song reached more and more members of their ragtag group, West began to feel tingling bursts of rage assaulting his mind from all sides. They probably would have been enough to eventually break him out of his endless cycle of emo on their own, but Levi's tail did the job much faster. He sailed through the air like a demon-shaped golf ball, smacking into their foe's side and hitting the ground again in a matter of moments. It took him slightly longer than usual to fight through the shock clouding his brain and get to his feet again, but once he did, to the tatzel's side he went. If she had possessed feet in this form, he would have tried stomping on one. "I'm not th'one y'should be hittin'!" he yelled up at her, his hands clenched into fists just in case she—or their actual enemy—decided to try anything. HP: 39/50 Damage: 3 Boss HP: 37

He regained control of his mind much more quickly than he had lost it, and Mmur glared at the creature as he came back to himself. This was no death priestess, skillfully presenting him with a vision of the past or a prediction of his future. It was a weak, pathetic, singing worm in a cave, and it was going to die.
The horseman flicked his whip against the ground beneath him in anticipation of its strike. He surveyed the creature, cocking his head at the beast as it continued to sing. Such a strange ability, one that Mmur wouldn't have thought one would need down here, but it certainly seemed to be keeping this group from fighting effectively. Students attacked students, some even attacked themselves, and others still were as he had been, locked in the violently upsetting confines of their own minds.
Finally, Mmur darted forward, catching the chimaera on one of its bony ribs. It was a glancing blow, nothing to be proud of, and the horseman felt a brief twinge of disappointment that he hadn't done better.

The sound coming from the creature sent the wolfos howling as he backed away, ears flats, frantically looking for a snowdrift to bury his head in. Block the sound and just get away. Claws scratched at the floor as he tried to scramble away. This was not what he'd expected or been planing for.
He was unable to get away, paws propelling him into an unfamiliar face with a snarl. While he didn't mean to run into anyone, he didn't enjoy them being in his way. The flash of anger and he shoved at them to move aside. They had attacked the creature and now just were in-between King and his targets. A snarl and he moved on, debating turning his fangs back to the creature to stop the sound.

Red eyes narrowing at the thing, King howled again, trying to drown out the noise. Once more it didn't help, but it helped steel his nerves as he lashed out at it once more. Fangs and claws dug into bone but it threw him aside. Narrowly avoiding being thrown into a wall, he spat.
Still tasted terrible.

His head shook, a low growl as Tess' voice cut through that horrific sound. Focus on that, Sheridan, follow her, not the chimera! Sheridan latched to the sound of his ghoul's voice, pulling himself from the nitemare of that cry. That cry was terrible, it cut into his ears and through his senses, but with Tess he could bear it, she was his rock. Again he answered the chimera with his own roar. Draconic fangs showed menacing in his jaws as his head reared back, ice forming in his breath. And then he unleashed it, a torrent of fire and superheated plasma aimed directly at the monster. Let's see you sing when you're on fire! (( HP: 36/40 Damage: 6 Boss HP: 28 ))

Perhaps climbing up the skeletal chimera to attack it directly wasn't such a great idea, much less so when it began to howl right above him. A shudder ran through him from horn to tail-tip, forcing his fins to flare wide with the motion before clamping back down. He pressed his hands uselessly against his ear-fins, talons digging into his hair. He continued to shake and writhe with the sound, unaware of his loosening grip as he began to slide off of the creature. A torrent of fire and ice barely missed him as he fell, landing straight ontop of Sheridan after the Celestial dragon launched his attack. The humanoid draconic student bounced off his head once before rolling down the larger dragon's neck, tumbling ungracefully off of his shoulder to land head-first into the pile of bones beneath their feet. After another student had smacked into the back of her leg, Poke was feeling pretty annoyed, considering the jacking chimera was still singing. Or wailing, as it sounded. She could see the other students were going crazy at the sound as well, so she turned her attention back on the boned beast. Pushing off the ground, she swooped overhead to swipe at the chimera, though her claws barely managed to brush against one of the skulls. Dammit! From above, she then saw Shun suddenly stab himself, and she quickly changed her route. "Shun!" She shouted, landing nearby the reaper as he moved away from his own attack. "What the jack are you doing?!" She knew from her one time fight that those daggers hurt like a b***h. HP: 23 Damage: 1 Boss HP: 27

Amphi's ears perked under Leo as Shun complimented her and offered advice. She decided that perhaps it would be best to stick with the reaper instead of wandering too far off. That way if she did need more battle expertise...she could ask him.
"Okay. Eyes open and aim next time." She said squeaked from under the ghoul, giving her a small wiggle. "Your welcome!" the mermaid managed to get out before the singing from the beast started.
Oh jack...Her ears! They bled from the pain, causing her to rake her hands over them in attempt to keep the singing from hurting anymore. It just caused more pain though....

Amphi stood up, wobbly from the damage to her ear fins, caused by the beast and herself. Her balance a little off, she picked up another bone, attempting to aim.
it hit...but barely grazed the beast as she fell back down.
