*Shortstraw nodded* "I figured that. Ms Veria has been trying to tell me that. I was thinking of it before when Ms Keria was gone. Her sister, the creepy one is always helping me, and always playing games with my head and Ms Kerias. I think somehow..." He looked to his hands. "She changed me. That or she found somthing in me i didn't even know about." He looked up to her, "im not sure if i'm right or anything, i think im just a normal human. But i noticed i can stand clole to Ms keria when she's on fire, even though most can't and would be effect in some way. So thats why i offer. I figured it would be better to have two peices instead of just one..." He looked down alittle "i know i don't equal up to her no matter if i'm human or not." He looked to Asher, "so is there a way to make the deal?"

Asher let out a small snicker. "Consider for a moment, Kiera's harsh attitude. If she really thought you were human, do you really think she would have took you under her wing? Quite literally, of course." She glanced away, and mulled over the thought some more. Was she really considering making a deal with this insignificant little boy? "She's a Catalyst. Always has been." She muttered to herself, as she took a moment to think. "Even with your... 'specialness.' Your soul still may be of no use to me whatsoever. But, i'm considering it. It's not a descision you can make in an instant, you know." She chuckled, as a thought invaded her mind. "And to preform this deal, you must gaze upon my demon form. My true form. That would be fun now, wouldn't it." She chuckled more at the simple thought of it. Many had been scared witless of her true form, bar Kiera of course. In fact, when she showed her, around the age of 13, Kiera looked rather bored.

*He nodded. Although he wasn't sure that ment he still got to use her as a mount or not or if that was still included, but he wasn't going to push it. And if Keria found out... well he would defently be distroyed for it for sure. But he was willing to try this. Go through with it. For two reasions. one he was told he had the rigth to choose his own path. And two, in the end this was for mis Keria. He saw things missing in her eyes, in her walk, in the way she was. So to better her if she liked it or not, she needed everything bit she could get of her soul.* "Well... there is one problem. Mistress Keria can read minds. So she would find out. We need to find a way to make it so she doesn't have the ablity to read it from either of us."

Asher curled her tail around herself and her small face fell into a frown. "There isn't much we can do about that, i'm afraid. I'm a demon, not a Genie. You can't wish away the stuff that you don't want to happen." She scrunched up her face a little. "Well, i could. But then you would have to make yet another deal. I don't do kind things. As nice as i may seem. My powers have a price. Which Kiera has found out a little too soon into her childhood. Wishing away most of it from her early teenage years. Poor darling." Her sarcasm was almost so good that it sounded like she was actually feeling sorry for her. As if. "Besides. She isn't the only one to read minds. Her mother and dear aunt can too. And her mother meddles in peoples business." She enunciated each word with revel in her tone. "Who knows what words may slip into her daughters ear at night, just to see a better show between you and her dear, dear daughter."

*THe boy shrugged* "Well fine then i will take on what i have to if keria finds out. If she kills me, then at least she got her soul peice back. I accept the challange." Her replied as if Eve had said it, even though that was where he got it from. Meanwhile there was a giggle under the hay stack. But nother other. Of course it was reassuring Ms Veria was underneither with both of there nolage. But shortstraw ignored her giggle. "How long would you like to think about it? The long you we do, and the moment we leave here the bigger chance someone will step inthe way youknow." he replied intelligently and fully serious as if aiming for somthing.

Asher itched her nose with her paw, and cocked her head at him once more. "Well, if you're quite prepared. Then we can begin the deal now, if you'd prefer." A firm unnatural grin planted itself upon Asher's feline face, much like the Cheshire cat, and her hair spiked, going in all directions. "Firstly, you must state the terms of your side of the deal, then, i shall transform shapes and.." She licked her lips. "Take a portion of your soul." She seemed mildly excited at best. She would be getting a treat today, after all. Not caring how much Kiera would scald her at this moment. Singe her hair. Drown her in seas of fire. All that was worth it for just a piece of soul.

*SHortstraw nodded and stood stright.* "The deal is that i offer a peice of my soul for the ability to mount you when needed, which is freindly of course." He smiled, "and Kerias should fragment will be returned to her perminatly, whilest you still surve under her." Her announced, unsure if he forgot anything int he confussion of all the mind switching thing, he gto confussed easly. ANd he prepared for whatever Ahser may turn into. Finally he would see the real her.*

Asher nodded sullenly as her ebony fur began to change shape. It never changed colour however. As the black expanse grew and the face and ears and nose and tail disappeared to reveal a large human sized shadowed furry clump. Out of this clump the skull of a dead Elk, still with all the bare minimum of muscle fibre and veins still decaying on it's husk. A dead Elk, with teeth. The teeth grew, until each one became as long as lanky and even as thick as the boys arms. Through the empty eye sockets, came two velvety violet cat eyes staring down at him. Out of the back of the growing shape, came a very fluffy long black tail, which came to curl around her. She was taller than she was wide, but even so, she was still pretty fluffy. The fluffiness wasn't so that you could hug it, though, in fact, the fur itself looked to be alive. Moving around even when she stood still, almost moving like a black fire. You couldn't see the limbs of this great creature, hidden under the expanse of black. Only when she reached out a large, elderly human-like hand, with rather long fingernails, over to the boy. The hand reached through him, and took out a rainbow coloured translucent board of sorts, in her tight grasp. It was free of faults, any cracks, until she broke it. She tore off a corner. And gaped her intimidating mouth open wide as she gulped it down. She quickly put the see through board back inside the boy, and with the same eerie hand, reached down her own throat, and grabbing out Kiera's own puzzle piece. "Now, only to get this piece back to Kiera." Her voice was booming and sultry, much like the demon she was rather than the cat she masqueraded as. Feathers of her fluffy being flickered off into nowhere as she awaited the boys reply.

*The boy was shocked. Would he ever see her as the same agian? He felt odd now, and he watched as she performed the soul peice deatachment. Surly enough he still wasn't backing out, but he wasn't sure he could stand how it felt to have her sick her hand through him... he felt odd... strangly... he started to feel a blured vision and suddenly he fell over, uncounchious.*
As it happened Veria jumped out hte of the pile of hay and clapped, then grabbed hold of Ahser, with no fear at all, "YAY now i really want a kitten!" HSe replied silently hugign ghte black fur of darklooking flames. It didn't bother her one bit, she almost respected Asher for a moment... oops moments gone. SHe just wanted a kitten of her own. and now she wanted one even more seeing asher like this. Veria didn't let go, but looked tot he boy and giggled eviliy.*

Asher de-materialised and materialised further away from Veria. The Kiera fragment safe under her masses of living fur. Waiting for it's chance to get back to Kiera. But Asher knew something the poor boy didn't. Something which made Kiera so against him making a deal with her in the first place. Why she said it was like making a deal with Satan himself. Asher cocked her bare head, just as she would usually. And looked to the way home. Maybe Kiera was asleep. Yes, she would be asleep now. It was as good a time as any to give the piece back to her. But then again, the boy was lying unconscious after the meer sight of her, she couldn't just leave him there with Veria. With Veria. Well. She supposed she could. He was in -cough cough- Safe enough hands. Asher made a nodding motion over to Veria, who was now hugging air, as Asher de-materialised once more. Appearing right on front of the couch where her master was in deep slumber. As quickly as she dared, Asher placed the hollow puzzle piece back inside Kiera.

*Veria giggles after the puzzled expression of where did the kitty go. And where was her damn kitten! she glared at asher as she got away. Veria then had a smile streach accross her mouth, ear to ear. She had waited for this day. And she witness somthing at hand she was defently goign to tamper with. She dragged the poor boys boy all the way home and into her room where she locked the door, put a gag ofver his mouth, and began the operation.*

By the time Kiera woke up, it was already keen into the morning. And Asher was sitting expectantly on the edge of the bed, watching Kiera with a curious yet mischievous eye, now back in her comfortable cat form. Kiera rubbed her sockets and yawned. "You're looking like you've just had a bowl of cream." Another pet cat joke. "Why are you looking so proud of yourself?" Asher's tail flicked from side, then cocked her head slightly. "Oh, no reason." Kiera's eyes thinned, but decided not to think too much about it for now. It was far too early to be thinking about deep stuff. Asher's belly was full, and would be for a while. Her newly found deal with the boy had been more of a gain than what she was telling him.

*Meanwhile not a sound came from Verias room since she had dragged the boy upstairs. Now a whisper, nor sign of the boy himself. Infact other then ahser being there when she dragge dhim up the stairs, no would have even known where the boy was, or even if he was int he area at all. Not that many ever looked for him, luckily for Veria. SHe had gained alot out of the turn of events aswell as it gave her even mroe ideas to "play" with the boys life without anyone knowing what was going on or even him himself knowing what she had done to him.*

Asher jumped down from the edge of the couch, and onto Kiera's chest. Jumping onto the floor, she sauntered over to the kitchen, looking pretty proud of herself. Kiera had never really seen her such. She was never cocky around Kiera. Especially around Kiera. Especially with the kinds of torture methods Kiera used to do when she was younger. Especially because Kiera had seen all of the forms that Asher had dared to take, so far. Kiera stood up, and skulked after her. Her legs cried reluctantly against it, but her curiosity got the better of her. She reached into Asher's demonic mind, and suddenly knew everything about everything. A familiar itch in Kiera's hands came, and she flexed them as she had done before. Her eye twitched slightly, as she resisted the urge straight away to just simply set Asher on fire. "This was not my wish, demon." Asher turned a lazy eye back to Kiera. "It was not your wish and yet you never let this information be known. If you had, i would have been forced to obey it." Her voice was in mock innocence as once again, Kiera hated being outdone by wit of something so vile.

*Veira appeared walking from the kitchen with a bottle of poision in her hand oh so ceriously, "what -cha - doing?" SHe asked innocently as she sippe dthe poisen that she hid in the fridge behind the milk. SHe smiled and pointed at the cat ont eh floor, "I WILL GET A KITTEN!" She proclaimed as she turned and slowly made her way back to her room.*
