 WAILWail comes off as introverted, withdrawn, certainly strange and more than slightly creepy. His is a realm of silence, despite his name. He does not speak much, if at all. When he does his voice is a strange thing, at once both rough and warbling, perhaps because of a defect to his vocal cords or throat. He has an extremely high tolerance for pain and the natural athleticism of the kiokote, so Wail finds himself on watch and circuit more than some of his other Tidewalkers. Perhaps he indulges his creepy nature -- perhaps he doesn't -- but there are rumors spread about him and more than once his transparent, ghostly form walking through the mists has spooked young foals into fleeing.

GREY WORMA worm is small and insignificant, but it plays a huge role in the turnings of the world. This has made a profound impact on the kiokote, who sees himself as just one in a sea of many kin. He is dutiful, agreeable, and loyal -- but he is somewhat unimaginative and is honestly about as dull as dirt. Grey Worm takes the concept of 'duty' to the extreme. He would be a type A personality if he had one at all. Or maybe it's just buried underneath a very strong sense of obligation...

FOG COMES INSneaky, secretive, Fog Comes In is a dedicated hunter and not at all sweet or kind. During the hunt she is focused and a little cruel, toying with her prey for as long as she can before finally killing it; after, she is smug and preening until something else catches her attention. She tends to leave messes behind: a pile of bones, feathers, splashes of blood -- .. it doesn't matter.
In her social dealings she still comes off as a bit messy, a bit unprepared, unless she's had time to cultivate her responses. Then she becomes a perfectly put-together lady, albeit one with a snarky little catsmile and one whose eyes constantly drift away...

about Who is she, exactly? Nobody knows. She's just another pretty face. Mask keeps her thoughts closed up and locked away and seems to enjoy slipping into and out of situations without leaving much of a mark. She is very intelligent, polite but firm, and can come off cold and reserved at her worst. It's hard to figure out who she really is, as she is never the same thing to any two people.

about Pearl fancies herself a fortune-teller and is a master of assuming airs and graces that make herself seem totally legit. She has a habit of wandering about with her eyes closed, relying on her other senses to get around obstacles. This makes her seem delicate (which she is), mystical and enlightened (which she is most likely not).

about Like his mother, All Unknowing must know all there is worth knowing but is drawn to the darker things in life. Unlike her, this has had an effect on his sanity/mind -- he is drawn to things that are dark, disturbing, or not common knowledge. He is quite intelligent, but perpetually distracted and a little bit unhinged (though he is not violent -- merely a touch off): imagine knowing truths that not a single other person knows.
