She took the full brunt of the last attack but got to watch as Jerry made some pretty amazing explosion happen. Hell yeah.
She almost forgot to defend again but still quickly got into position for another round.

Rep slunk off to somewhere with a bit of shelter for the time being, desummoning Tracey. He figured out of the line of sight he'd be less delicious as a target for the assaulted bird.
He settled instead for watching the battle in progress.
As things rolled on, he winced at every explosion and thought to himself idly how if Roar had ended up in the hands of someone capable, he'd be a real force to be reckoned with. As it was, they were lucky no one had gotten blown up.
And Rin, she'd been really ******** eager to defend him. He guessed everyone wanted to defend the serious big hitters, wheras he was just a bit of a burden, new guy who was a liability while he was out on the field. Yep. He was better here out of the way.
He fished out one of the breakfast bars Molly gave him, and ate it moodily.

"Nope I don't mind one bit," Tori replied to Cass with a smile as that made attacking the Phoenix a little easier. Charging at the fire bird for another attack knowing that Cass had her back and took a swipe at it with her sword as Aklin got more excited as he started to glow more. Either this phoenix was faster, or his aim was terrible; the creature wheeled away at the last second, and Ferros's arc hit only empty air. "Dammit," Jordan grumbled.

Anger at being patronized flared through Madison, but - no, this was not the time. Later. Instead, she turned that frustration into force, letting the phoenix hit her erstwhile defender before she sliced at one of the phoenix's wings. It jerked up again sharply, a few grey feathers detaching and vanishing into nothing but mist. HP: 43/50 (defended by Dakota for 11) Damage: 6 Phoenix HP: 53/99 Charge: 2/3

"I'm working on it!" He laughed weakly, once again aiming and firing. The blast made his ears ring, and judging by the dust settling, he hadn't quite hit the thing dead-on.

"EVERYONE DUCK, ROAR'S GONNA'-" Jerry tried to warn people as the green glow gathering in Roar's mouth intensified. He braced himself, favoring his good leg and propped his shoulder against the wall.
He'd make sure this blast hit the phoenix DIRECTLY... it would not do the dorms well if this one missed- and indeed, the howl ripped through the hall, blasting through the curling smoke intently.

"Alright and thanks!" Tori replied to Cass as her smile got a little bigger. She was impress on how well the Misty was defending her and it was nice of her as well. Charging up her weapon up and was running up to attack the fire bird to which she got tangled up in her chain and tripped and missed hitting the bird. Oh man did she ever feel so bad for missing.
