-Shiny smiles and pats the seat next to her- sit down and I'll tell you of a time when Shiny was a little more careless...

*Nai goes back around the counter, realizes she is still holding out the drink, downs it in one go and calls to the Barmaid for another* Alright, I'm ready..... I have to brace myself *She takes a sip of Shiny's everclear without asking* This is all too crazy...... my innocent little Shine......

-Shiny smiles and laughs quietly- Well, when I was a young rebellious teenager I would often hang out with my sister and group of misfits. I would often be invited to parties and I would go like any other careless teenager. My first party I was 14 and I was wearing a braided leather belt, long story short everclear+grape soda=getting whipped by said belt by some chick I didn't even know. Over time things started to get carried away...when I was 16 my aunt died and I stopped and looked at myself and the way I was. I didn't like what I saw, it was in those moments I began to realize that the first step to bettering yourself as a person is to admit your flaws, problems and mistakes...the next is to act upon them. I have been for 6 years with the occasional drink here and there for holidays and special occasions. I look back on that part of my life and I honestly would not take it back at all, because I would not be the person who I am today if I did change it

*Naioka listens to the story, drawing parallels to her own life* I guess you are right. There is no way I want to go back to being the person I was when I was in High School. It's just now... well.. .sometimes I get bored and wonder why I stopped. I guess the answer is simple, I stopped before something bad happened that made me stop. And I suppose you did too? If you don't consider getting whipped with your own belt getting hurt. *Nai laughs and takes off Shiny's belt in one fluid motion, swinging it in her hand like a rolling pin and snapping it loudly* Well, we are the smart ones, the ones who didn't ******** up their lives doing it. But still, *she smirks and pokes ju* I don't mind having a little fun now and again *poke poke* as long as no one is stupid or gets hurt. ≡♥.♥≡

-Shiny squeaks from the first poke and blocks the second two- A little fun never hurts it just depends on who you have fun with -Shiny wraps her arm around Nai's waist- I told you I wasn't as innocent as I seem to be.

Well in that case, *Nai gets up on the counter and lays across it, snapping her fingers and ordering tequila, limes, salt and cute barmaids aplenty* Body shots! *she sprinkles the salt in a line extending from her belly button towards her chest*

*Pouts* You're no fun.... *she takes the cutest barmaids hand as she walks by, preparing the shots, and tells her to do three of them* ...mmm.... *Naioka sits back and enjoys the senstation of the soft lips on her stomach* Thank you, darling. *she gets up, brushes off excess salt, picks up her drink and walks out of the bar, up the staircase and to the second floor balcony*

-Shiny growls at the sight and stalks out of the bar and into the labyrinth to escape what she had just witnessed- So much for a bonding moment...

*Naioka paces around on the balcony, obviously feeling rejected. She sees Shiny walking across the grounds toward the labyrinth and thinks of going after her but stops.* No, she didn't participate in my adventure.... she can have her own *Nai crumples up in a ball in the corner of the balcony and broods*

-Shiny stops at the entrance to the labyrinth and looks over her shoulder to the balcony where Nai is and shakes her head obviously feeling betrayed then continues into the labyrinth not knowing where she'll end up in the end-

WAIT! *Naioka screams at the top of her lungs, runs and launches herself off the balcony towards Shiny.* I'm sorry! *She powerfully flexes her wings and in one beat is across the lawn* I don't take rejection well. *She lands, hard, stomping her feet on the ground next to Shiny* At all.. *she looks away, ashamed* Please forgive me

-Shiny's eyes soften to their normal soft kindness and she gently grabs Nai's hand- I don't take rejection at either and I'm sorry...I've never experienced body shots. -Shiny gently pulls Nai's face back to look her in the eyes- I'm sorry and I wish I could see you smile again

*Naioka stares deep into Shiny's eyes and realizes her actions weren't out of malice or disgust* Why wouldn't you try? *She takes Shiny's hand and walks toward the labyrinth with her* You don't wanna go into this place alone... trust me... *she surveys the tall hedges and turns back toward Shiny, smiling finally*

-Shiny hangs her head and looks back at Nai- Cause I had no idea what to do...though I learn things very quickly, I'm a "hands on learner" if you know what I mean -Shiny smiles and tightens her grip on Nai's hand- I suppose you're joining me for this adventure?

I am. *Naioka beckons to Lilith, still trimming hedges* If were aren't back in a few hours, burn it down. *She indicates the Labyrinth and Lilith nods solemnly.* Good, now we're ready.... as long as my drink is around here somewhere.... * a servant glides over, handing Nai her drink which was abandoned on the balcony* Thank you...
