Koga smiled like a child, oblivious to the unhappy tension coming from Kei. "I have a feeling we'll ace this class together!" He declared happily, smiling at his group.



Rin surpassed another sigh, already feeling a headache. "Let's do our best then." She said, trying to sound enthusiastic like her brother but failed.

"Sure thing, Sayuri!" He saluted. Turning to Rin, Koga crossed his arms. "We're gonna make the best icing ever, right Rin?"



"Sure. The teacher as already laid out the stuff we need so-" Before she could finish her sentence, Koga already sped off to get the cooking supply. He was back quickly, somehow managing to hold onto everything, making a large pile in his hands that covered his face. Her brother set everything down, placing the needed things to make batter by the other three. The twins quickly set to work. As twins, they had the usual unison in their movements, they didn't have to be identical to do the same thing without noticing after all. Almost finished, Koga noticed something odd about the icing. "Why is it black?" He stared blankly down at it, honestly confused. Catching Rin's attention, she looked over the bowl, only to have the same expression as her brother. "But we used pink food dye..." She muttered as she washed her hands and placed a finger in the icing. "Hm. It may have turned black, but it still tastes like icing. Kind of good to be honest." The younger twin said as she tasted what they have made, but already washing her hands. He shrugged, "Whatever you say. Let's finish it."

"Well, at least our cookies will stand out from the others." Koga joked, grinning at his friends. The teacher came, checking on everything, though they made a face at the icing.



"We can't do anything to change them, but let's be happy that the cookies will taste good. Color isn't the problem." Rin muttered, staring down at the icing, then looking at the teacher as they walked away.

"Even if we do lose a few points, we can all know that we did our best to make them." He said, sighing happily. Looking at the new sprinkles on the cookies, he closed his eyes. "Now they're beautiful~" Koga joked once again.



"To be honest, I have no idea how it turned black. I checked to make sure we did everything right, and we did." Rin said, sighing like her brother but not really caring about the cookies.

Koga smiled at the teacher, looking happy. "We used all of our heart to make it. And our hearts were beautiful rainbows. They mixed together and made black." He explained, not being serious at all but had a serious tone. "So that's why it's black. In a good way. Because of our hearts." Koga finished, placing a hand on his heart. "I think that what happened anyway."



Rin sent a slight glare at Koga, not enjoying his joke at all. She crossed her arms and looked out the window, finding it more interesting. Sighing, Rin turned her head back and watched everything, switching between staring at the teacher and Koga.
