Danny nodded as Rikki stepped away from her, into the fray, into the mess of people unraveled before her. He would be okay. He was strong and rested, unlike her. She was weakened by fatigue. Honestly she figured it would be best to just throw it all in one big attack.
Time seemed to stop for a moment as he came out of the crowd. Blond hair. The three piece suit. Guns. It was him. It was the man from the trial who had heartlessly gunned her down. It was his fault. She couldn't even touch her neck without her panicking now.
She didn't have time to think about it now though. A strange man with a green scarf was pushing Rikki apart from her, and she did not have time to give a s**t about the man of her nightmares. There were no more words of intimidation. No more battle cries. It was just do.
The moment Rikki fought back, so did she. With a flaming tail.

He found himself hauled into a hug by Harrison and realised that was really what he'd wanted all along, giving him a manly pat on the back for the sake of appearance, but let the subtleties of the gesture speak louder than those appearances could. "I'm not that easy to kill."
Looking over with a start, he registered Jordan's arrival. Thank ********. Thank every ******** thing there was.
He was so glad to see the other sun hunter that it was him who snaked out a hand to haul Jordan firmly into the hug. "Both of you are ******** shitheads okay."

Familiar faces. All of the familiar faces, and Sasha couldn't be happier to see them. Safety in numbers; it was reassuring to say the least. Sasha moved to stand near the others as she rested for a brief moment.
Staying still too long, though, Sasha could feel the phantom itch and burn of vines slipping through her veins, beneath her skin. She couldn't shake the feeling no matter how desperately she tried; Nona made soothing sounds, and it helped, but.. there was no denying the fact that she was feeling more than a little jittery.
She hovered near the doctor for a brief moment, distractedly patting his shoulder as she moved past him so that she could get a better look at what, exactly, was going on - there was more fighting, more monsters. Despite the itch beneath her skin, Sasha couldn't help but yearn to get out there, to fight. Nona's soothing noises turned encouraging when that thought flickered through Sasha's mind; just a moment to rest before she attacked again.
It was difficult to take in all the sights and sounds, but Sasha did her best. Her eyes were constantly watching, searching. There was one face she missed; where was Jerry? She'd seen him in the last room they were in, and Sasha was certain that he was fine... it was just slightly unnerving not to see him here. It was entirely too likely he simply hadn't made it through the portal yet.

WE ARE HALLOWEEN Boozver's character Wylfenne is attacking Simon for 0 damage! This new feeling of belonging was something Wylfenne was prepared to fight for. And Aurien was right in making her move, there was no time for catch-up. They were heavily outnumbered, but Wуlfenne grew to rely on their luck - if nothing else. They nodded to Aurien - to comfort and to support, if possible. At least, that would not be a lonely battle! With a cold suicidal smile the Fae rushed towards a young male blonde hunter in a fancy suit who was happily firing from two handguns glowing with runes. Dakota took the knee to the stomach with pure enthusiasm.
He showed it well by coughing, gripping his stomach. s**t, he was getting weaker by the moment.
"A simple no with no pain would've been adequate sexy halloween babe." Dakota rubbed his stomach as Ryan pushed him back. He grinned as his brothers surrounded him and gave the dream baku blown kiss.
"Till next time Sweethart!" He winked before leaning heavily on Ryan. "Dude...Did you see that one though? She had all that pretty hair and rosey eyes and her clothes. Cute." Dakota grinned again before sighing at Wilson. "Bro, I am so tired, I've been up and down in this s**t."

Even now, the stone statue, protected by her friends, would continue to remain curled immobile around an unconscious Malodore, protecting it from harm.
Riley's statue had landed on her back once the portal had spat her out, and she tilted left, and right, a few times. Then she stilled, and lay there, protecting her Malodore.

Shaking off the shock from Tybalt defending her and the sudden attack, Mei stared at the hunter boil on the ground, attempting to crawl away. Thanks to Tybalt, the boil was already backing off. "Thanks, mutt." She grinned at the boil, before scouting out a target of her own.
Finally coming across one, Mei took note of a hunter boil with an odd mask on his face--gas mask? Whatever it was, it looked kind of creepy. Moving in, she attempted to strike at the boil, but her own attacks were useless as another hunter ghoul blocked her attacks.

Wilson shook his head at Ryan. “I’m sorry, but I think I’m starting to become immune to Dakota’s stupidity.” If only Ryan could see the expression on Wilson’s face right now, but alas. He could only stare at Dakota with a poker face courtesy of his gasmask. “I know people like the concept of forbidden love and all, but you’re really digging yourself into a hole with this one, Dakota.” Wilson turned toward Xiu. A thoughtful pause. He had to admit, Xiu was kind of pretty but still. Halloween = no. “Dakota, as long as you don’t die or horribly maul yourself I’ll probably let it go somehow.”
Suddenly there was a brunette by his side as a dark-haired doll swooped in and tried to attack him. “Woah,” he murmured quietly as he stepped away. Wilson nodded at Ami. “Thanks for the save!”
He shifted in place, feeling awkward as he stood around until he noticed a familiar reaper and fire demon attacking Leon. Ah, now that just wouldn’t do. Another brief look toward Ami before he headed toward Leon. He lifted an arm to lightly prod the blades of his cannon at the demon girl. “I’d appreciate it if you didn’t gang up on him.”

 Well, one giant student down, and they were being sucked into a portal and dumped into...chaos. Again. It was not a time to stand around and check on each other and ensure that everyone was safe. No, it was a time to react. There. A hunter, an older one. That would probably mean that he was well experienced. And he was wielding a whip with deadly accuracy. Yin ran at him, certainly minding the pain that was inflicted on him by the whip as he drew close enough for an attack but he was not stopped by it. It took Eva a moment to realize who the presence behind her was. Casting a look over her shoulder, a small smile twitched on her lips at the sight of Gale, relief blossoming over her face. Thank god--at least she knew that he was safe. Now if she could just keep him and the others alive by the end of this battle--
The calm expression on her face disappeared when she noticed the scythe being swung out at the blond boy. She whirled around, swinging Chara up in an attempt to block the attack, but she was too slow. At the very least, the tip of her blade grazed the girl who had attacked. Noting that Gale was in worse shape that she was, she tried to gently nudge him behind her as she turned to look at the reaper. Her usually bright voice was low and humorless.

Okay, appearances could take a hike. Jordan let himself be hauled in and just leaned on Rep and Harrison for a little while, warm with relief. It would have been fun to tear them apart, litterally. Leon was all for it. but they needed to be captured not killed. one smacked him with chains, another with its tail.
And he was sorely tempted to go beserk on them. the boxer in replyonly gave them both a steely glare. "You are just lucky i don't have orders to kill you, but when i do. I plan to make it the last thing you ever see." he said lowly and seriously. "And its not going to be pleasant for you either." he ended with a dark chuckle and Russian peacock strutted away sauntered away to keep watch on them from afar, next to robert and rep and Harrison.
"You guys, you're pretty close, aren't you?" he said without even thinking, just observing the trio with a blank stare. must have been the bonding they had with cookies or something, he figured.
