Calder rose up on the tips of his hooves, looking about. "I...really can't see above everyone else." He was tall, but not that tall.

Thinking, he turned and leaned down, patting his back. "Get on. That way you can look for him." He said, smiling up at her.

Alex tried not to grimace as Yin decided to focus on the shredded and bloodied fabric of his his shirt. The flesh beneath had knitted and healed so that there was no longer any other sign of there having been an injury at all.

"It's nothing, I'm fine." He assured the other boil, even though Yin had not asked. him about it.

The weremantis had gotten suddenly very quiet after Alex had asked his question, and that probably only further proved that there was definitely something wrong. But Yin was answering him now, and making it fairly clear that he did not want to talk about it. Alex had wished that had been all he had said, however. Adding on to that, that the zomboil would probably not want to know it only gave him a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach. And telling him not to bother thinking about it, only really ensured that it would be all Alex thought about until Yin was either acting one hundred percent better and it faded from memory or Alex somehow managed to extract the information from him.

But Alex wouldn't do that, not after the last time. This was something that Yin wanted to keep to himself, and the zomboil would just have to respect that. So, he forced a smile down at the other boil, rubbing his hands up and down Yin's upper arms before stopping and giving him a gentle squeeze. "Okay then, as long as you're going to be fine but..if you need to talk about it you know you can tell me...." He let his voice trail off, suddenly distracted by Yin pointing towards the other zomboil in the room.

Oh, Mort? Alexander hadn't seen him since the horsemen exchange program had started. With one last lingering and in very concerned look at Yin, Alex let his hands drop to his sides and turned his head so that he could see better.

"Hey Mort!" Alex called out, noting that he was actually grouped with a couple of other students at the moment, only one of which Alexander recognized. He gave the other zomboil a wave, before glancing back at Yin and nodding in the direction of Mort and starting to shuffle towards him.

Moure had felt some sadness at the prospect of leaving the Clans after spending so much time with them for the past few weeks. He'd miss Ylaria, their Jewelcrafting instructor, and the way she'd seemed to open up to them. While not as much as the Death Horsewoman, he'd miss their double instructors from the Conquest and their beautiful moving paintings. He touched the wall-scroll that was the painting he'd done during his second week, a slight grin coming to his face as he imagined the huge inky Gibralter abounding around the field of paint, before checking to make sure he had everything. The instructions for bracelet making were stored away, and everything was ready to go.

Except apparently, they could not depart.

Moure tipped one head slightly, trying to hear better. Their ambassadors spoke, explaining the situation. There was a conference going on? It must've been brought up unexpectedly, as Moure couldn't imagine the Horsemen being this disorganized when the students of Halloween were involved.

They were given leave to explore though, as long as they acted politely. Moure looked to the portals, debating where to go. He'd like to visit both Death and Conquest again, for two strikingly different reasons. Oddly enough, he'd felt more comfortable at Death than he had at Conquest, and would've liked to find Ylaria and thank her once again for teaching them. At Conquest, he was tempted to go see if that favour-game was still being played. He hadn't seen the other two yet though, and was tempted to investigate them as well.

After a moment, he pulled out his phone. He'd seen a few other send out some texts, he assumed, and thought it might be possible to do so here. He hadn't seen Edel in two solid weeks. Quickly, he sent her a text.

Zyphiris
Text to Edel: I wasn't sure where you might be, so I headed toward Death. Let me know where you are when you get this, okay?

Moure sent the text and turned toward the the portal in question. After a few moments of looking around for Edel's head, and finding no blue halo of hair recognizable as hers, he headed out. He'd try to get to each Isle, and as such figured it wouldn't be a problem to visit one he'd enjoyed seeing first.

Amarus was happy to see Olivia, though she didn't quite embrace the ghoul; Olivia was, by nature, less warm than Faustus, which made Amarus unsure as to how to react. She did like the ghoul, though, she was just poorer at showing it. She offered her a sort of half-smile, which looked a little pained, but it was intended to be sincere. Amarus clapped the ghoul on the shoulder awkwardly. "What's up, Oli?" she asked, trimming Olivia's name down in a way she was fairly certain would not be acceptable. Too late now.

After greeting Olivia, Amarus finally replied to Faustus. "Peaceful? Eugh," she grimaced at him. "Good thing I went to war. I rode a wolf, and--" suddenly, she seemed to pause, as if remembering something that hurt. She had met a mount, and befriended it, tamed it, so... she was sore to leave War. She was sore to leave War for lots of reasons; she'd loved it there, in a different way from Conquest. The lotuses of Conquest had made her deeply happy, but she was really ill-suited to its culture. War, however, suited her perfectly.

"... You're a mind reader, Faustus," she told him, clapping her hands together with glee. "I'd just... like to visit the Lotuses one last time, you know? If it's okay with you two. But after that... I'll go wherever you want." Even the dreaded Death isle. Maybe they'd want to go to war, though, since she was the only one who'd been.

Reiko was oh so very ready to leave this place and go home. She was immensely dissappointed to hear that she would have to stay another day. That was another 24 hours of chances to run back into Mitzi, and if she never saw the Reaper again it would be too soon. Their argument was still roiling in the back of her mind. She looked around, trying to spot anyone she knew. Of course, there were so few people she knew, finding one of them was...unlikely.

"Ah," said Sparrow to Hel with a smile. "I've been to both the Isle of Famine and the Isle of War. Both were...quite enlightening in their own ways, and I very much enjoyed being on both - though admittedly," he added, with a wink. "I had a very grand time with all of the training on War."

He thought it best to stay out of the squabble that followed this, and leaned over, giving Hel's arm a reassuring squeeze.

"I think I'll find someone to accompany me to either the Isle of Death or the Isle of Conquest," said Sparrow with a cheerful grin. "Do give my regards to Famine and War for me."

He grinned cheekily, winked, and ambled off.

She laughed, arms snaking around to tightly hug the puca. “Glad tae hear it,” murmured Dev. She grinned. “Aye, it turns out second week ay classes is trance.” The cu sith stepped back to eye the bandages on her arm. Her lips pressed together as she felt relieved she had decided not to take a class at War. “Ahm afraid Ah havenae seen th’ others,” she answered with the shake of her head. Then she grinned and nodded her head. “Ahll jist text them now.” She whipped out her phone to send a couple of messages.

"Wolf? Lucky." He probably would've been better off riding a carnivore, now that he thought about it. But Mort was proud of Kithka nevertheless, even if the beginning of their joust had been . . . slow in more ways than one. He laughed at Ev's description of the device, ever amused at the poor unenlightened ones' perception of his sometimes frightening dependency on technology. "Yes, is good for being wingman too," he added with another pat on Kettil's shoulder. "Watches for my swag; good learning will come! Also phone is still working, yes, have been taking pictures! But, mrrr, as for places would like try seeing Death n' Conquest 'fore day is up personally, so can know all isles. If don't mind going back, you two can be guides?"

Thinking he'd heard his name, the zomboil turned his head to see two all-too familiar boils fielding the small crowd towards them. "Ah, Yin, Alex!" he hailed, waving his free hand. "Would like come to Death with us?"

Lumi felt as if going home was going to be the worst thing imaginable. As she stepped through the portal cringing at the fact that she was going back she blinked a few times when she heard a lot of commotion. Wait they weren't going home just yet! Oh this was great news, and it got even better, they were allowed to visit the other isle. Smiling happily she looked around trying to see if Julian had come through yet. Perhaps she could see him again, clutching the scroll she had from her last day of conquest she slowly made her way through the students.

"Errr...O-okay?" That meant her feet would be off the ground, but...she trusted Calder. He wouldn't toss her or drop her or anything...right? Regardless of this trust she had in him, she trembled lightly as she took him up on his offer, crawling onto his back and shoulders to get a better view of the crowd.

If Amrita only knew that it was rather hard to fall off the kelpie providing she touched his skin, she might have been more at ease. As it was, Calder slowly rose up, holding her legs to give her some assurance he wasn't going to drop her, and stood as a proud pillar for Amrita to look around and find her friend.

(( ENTERING ))

Aymet was somewhere near the back of the crowd, experiencing the delayed disappointment that came from not really getting the message at first. They couldn't leave? Man who had even scheduled this.

It would have been really nice to be back at the kind of safe campus at Amityville, where the dangers were, if not predictable, at the very least they weren't in an entirely unfamiliar environment. He missed his quiet cave. There was always a heavy clanking and groaning of the forges near the death dorms, and the famine dorm was one big weeklong sleepover party. It was throwing him off to be here and not there, everything here was a little surreal, a little strange. As of the end of his class in Death, everything the horsemen around him did was being cast in a sinister light.

Well, if they were stuck, they'd just have to investigate this place a little better. As he turned back to the island portals, he heard his name. Amrita?

"Over here!" he called from the portal setup, waving his arms.

Watching Dev text made Fallow rather interested in texting, and rumbling softly, he pulled out his own skellyphone and sent a few haphazard texts to their missing members, bouncing along after Dev while trying to type at the same time, his long neon tail lashing back and forth in nervous excitement.

Sliding the phone back into his pocket, Fallow shifted his bags and followed Dev into the portal without regret.

Edel gazed on nonchalantly as the crowd gathered to head back to Halloween, only to be informed that their return would be delayed by a day and that they were free to visit the rest of the Isles as long as they maintained their good behaviour. The ghoul sighed, already missing her dorm back at Amityville after what could be considered a rather dull week spent at the Isle of Famine for her ... though that was mostly because her friends were elsewhere.

Speak of the devil, her cellphone lit up in that instant to show a text received from Moure. Figuring that the rest (which would inevitably include Danny) would be there on the Isle of Death, the ghoul decided to make her way there. Surely, she wasn't too excited about the volcanoes, but seeing something new would be great.

.... Seeing Moure would be great too.

Endzela was quite pleased with where she was at the moment. She was pretty fond of Ev she was very kind and quiet sort of ghoul that was easy to be relaxed around. For now the Owl was content being held on to by her.

Kettil humbly rubbed the back of his neck, "Aww, well thanks guys. I appreciate that ya'll think so highly of me. I'd be glad to be a guide of sorts," he laughed a bit and then glanced over toward the others that Mort was calling toward them with a bit of a grin and a small wave of his own. He'd wait for introductions until Mort was done talking to them.

He for the most part stood a bit closer to Ev for now since she held his Familiar for the time being.
