What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A dead deer, a symbol of her ability to hunt and provide.
Short IC Response: The longer Nymphalidae stayed away from Hallows Bane, the more her heart yearned to return -- to hunt with him, to travel with him, to lay at his side. But these feelings still made her feel afraid, too. After returning to his homeland with him and giving birth to their unplanned foals, Nymphalidae was overwhelmed with a sense of entrapment and, in a moment of rash decision making, made off with one of the baskets that held their foal and fled. She had hoped, at least, the foal she stole away would resemble as much of a kalona as she had wanted in the first place -- she'd never intended to have foals with any other soquili but a strong, pureblooded kalona... which Hallow's Bane was not, and now her bloodline was still tainted. The foal that emerged from the basket was nothing that she expected, inheriting her weak, delicate wings, and she felt disappointed. And then she met the cruel kalona Asmodeus, who tricked her and defeated her in battle, only to steal her young foal away.

Alone now and with her view and respect for pureblooded kalonas shattered, Nymphalidae felt lost. She'd spent her whole life with a single goal, and without that, she didn't know what to do -- and her adamant will to stick to that goal only blinded her to everything that was right in front of her. But going back to Hallow's Bane now would mean admitting her mistakes and weaknesses, something she had never done before. And so it was when she gazed into the sky and saw the brilliantly shining star, she felt a small flutter of hope. Maybe...

"Star, I offer you this prey as a symbol of my strength. Even with these wings, I can still hunt alone and survive. My m-- Hallow's Bane, he is strong too, and overcomes the weakness of his small wings. I ask that you grant us with a gift, a foal to surpass all that we are, to combine only the strong bloodlines that flows through us both and to cast aside the weakness. A kalona --" for even though she had given up her own pursuit, it was still difficult to shake her view of them as the superior species "-- with strong wings, strong body, and a strong mind. This is what I want. I will return to him... even though I fear it, but perhaps if we were deemed worthy enough, strong enough together to be looked upon favorably by your higher power, I would feel more sure that I am not making a mistake." A sign. This was what she wanted. If something with a stronger power than she could ever comprehend blessed them with a foal, then maybe returning to Hallow's Bane is the right thing to do.

She had few choices. Return to him, or run as far as she could and never look back -- Nymphalidae didn't know which one she was more afraid of, but she used the Star as her guide and her courage, and deep down she knew it was going to bring her back to Bane.

Note: I accept the terms that mutants will not come out of this, and that the breed of the soquili prize is up to the colourist! Nymphalidae has specific expectations -- but maybe the Star feels what she needs is different than from what she wants!

What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? One of his beads.
Short IC Response: What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask to find their relative?

Thona snorts as he looks at the wishing star, silly thing, this was. He shrugs and just simply say "I don't really want her around, apart from I just want to make her life miserable." After all, Thona wasn't really the family type. His soul purpose to finding any family would be to use them in ways that'd benefit himself, or cause them some type of displeasure.

Link to Breeding Permission: Here
Lifemates: Nope.
What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Lutra leaves some flame from his lantern. It never goes out, and doesn't burn.
Short IC Response:
There was something magical and familiar about the brightest star in the sky tonight. How long had it been since the first time he dared to wish upon it? So much had changed since then, and Lutra felt a little silly for what he had asked for all of those years ago. Back then, he had been so in love with Akari, yet they both knew that they could never truely be together. It wouldn't have worked out no matter how hard they tried, yet they still asked for the one thing that would give them reason to try. Now, they had both moved on. She had gone on to make herself a big family for her own, trying to fill the gape in her heart that his love had left once they split. Lutra had moved on, finding comfort and love in another mare. She was so sweet, yet deep down he had to ponder on whether it was the same kind of love that he held for Akari. No matter what, they would always care for one another.
Eying the star, Lutra decided that it was worth another chance. Settling his latern down, he let a small lick of flame catch on the ground. Hopefully this time, it would work.

A True Friend

Who is Wishing?: User Image
Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: "Meh? Well, ah'm a gamin' man by c'oice," Paelor smirked. "Always lookin' for a c'allenge. After all, w'at's the fun of a game if th' outcome is easy ta predict? T'at's w'y ah avoid strategy games. Too easy. Now, games of c'ance, like sparks... t'ose can be a c'allenge."
10 Things I Like: Wings, blue, spring, winter, games, black
10 Things I Don’t Like: yellow x.x
What does your persona or your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Paelor had heard many things about this star since coming to these lands. It could grant wishes, if the offering left to it was good enough. It was a load of phooy if you asked the Imp, but no one ever did. Wishes weren't granted. You had to work hard and earn your desires. Or steal them. But stealing was a kind of work itself, if done right. Magical stars didn't just drop down out of the heavens and go, "Oh, hey there, that's a mighty shiny bauble yeh got, so here's the world at your hooves." It was ridiculous, and the kind of horse who believed in such fables were the kind that Paelor loved to exploit. The kind who would believe he was just a friendly chap looking for a good game. The kind that always walked away short of a few possessions once the little conartist was done with them.

But lately, the normally solitary Imp had been feeling a touch... lonely? No. That wasn't the right word, for Paelor Tae Tasi did not need anyone in his life. Restless? Yes, that was it. He was looking for bigger game, more challenging sport. The cons he'd played all his life had gotten too easy. So much so that he could pull them off in his sleep. What was the point of that? And the cons he could dream up... oh, he'd be a legend if he could pull them off.

The problem was that he COULDN'T pull them off. Not alone. He needed an accomplice. A "wingman" as it were. Someone who could slip through the crowd, encouraging trust in him while he played the face. Someone he could double team with. But who? Not his sister. He hadn't spoken to her in ages, and he had the feeling that she wouldn't approve of his lifestyle. Imps were mischievous by nature, but Paelor often took it two or three steps further.

And that was what had led him on this ridiculous endeavor. He'd even dropped a coin down a wishing well a ways back. After all, what could it hurt? It was frivolous and pointless but... sometimes a fellow just needed to indulge in a bit of fantasy. Even if he didn't really believe.

So, it was feeling like a hypocrite that Paelor placed a battered, old spark on the wishing star's pedestal. His very first spark. It had long since lost the magic that made it a useful piece in the game, but the polished stone held sentimental value for Paelor. It had been his first, had seen him through those initial trials as he learned how to manipulate and con. It seemed a fitting sacrifice for a partner who would assist him down this new road in life.

"Eh... now 'ow is t'is supposed ta work?" Paelor muttered, studying the sky until he found the star. "Ah make a wis'. T'at's w'at th' legends say, eh? So...er... star lig't, star brig't, first star ah see tanig't.... eh, never mind t'at," he shook his head quickly, feeling even more foolish. He didn't like feeling foolish. Taking a deep breath, he plunged on ahead with all the determination and arrogance that he handled with every other aspect of his life. "It's like t'is, star...thing... Ah need a partner. Someone ah kin trust. Someone t'at won't run off wit' all meh spoils at the drop of a 'at. Ah need someone clever and loyal. Mehbe a little gullible, mehbe not. Ah dunno. Never 'ad muc' use fer partners in th' past. But times are a c'angin'. So....er... yep. T'at's th' long and s'ort of it.... Er... T'anks fer listin'."

And with that, refusing to feel any more like a dupe, the Imp spun on his heel and stalked off, shaking his head at his own folly. It was time to make his own wish come true. After all... who believed in wishing stars?

Who is Wishing?: a Soquili
Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: "Before I came to these new lands, I was the leader for all the Putti. But then my people seemed to grow restless and wished for a change of scenery. Though I resisted to fulfill their wish, eventually I gave in as it appeared most of the herd wanted to leave. I couldn't leave them tramp through the strange lands between here and Kawani alone, so I joined them. Now I find myself mostly alone, with my herd scattered and too busy exploring to regroup. Though I like the quiet, I do miss the joy of others depending on me from time to time. I know I'm not the most...Fun of equines. I hate noise and crowds and the other leaders seemed to grow annoyed with me. But it's not my fault they were doing it wrong. I should have been in charge of the move."

What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Xylence’s toy ufo.
Short IC Response: Tell me a little about your couple. What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask for a basket? Omicron looked to the sky, hoping to see one of his alien brethren coming to take him home. He sighed at the empty sky. Just as he was about to look down, a shooting star shot across the sky. He closed his eyes, remembering what his mother had told him about wishing stars. “Dear wishing star! Please let my fellow aliens come find me soon!!!”. He paused before opening his eyes, wondering if that was too big of a wish. “But if you can’t do that, there is this female I really like. I think she would make good minions for me. The other female I was with said that she had some, but took them with her when she left. All I really need is someone to follow me. Please wishing star!! I will even leave you my most beloved ufo toy. Thank you, wishing star.” And at that, he raced home and tried to go to sleep. Dreaming of the when he can finally rule over something and the minions he would have.

Note: I believe Omicron is the only one in his family without some kind of hair edit. Just so you know. Well, at least that is what I was told. I am sorry I don't have enough time to get their certs, but I will post a group pic I have of the parents. Here

What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A few feathers from her crest, and a grape vine, with a few grapes
Short IC Response: "It's been years since I've seen his face. I only know his crest is so similar to mine, and yet so different. He was my rock as a foal, as I was very small and weak, but he was strong. His wings protected me from the spiteful words of others and his gentle eyes were enough to make me smile. He'd get me grapes, of which he knew I adores so much. I was so young, when he left, and I want to know why he did. If he was forced, I want to help him come home, and if he left of his own accord, I just want to know why...and if we could ever be a family again."

Who is Wishing?: Vivace
User Image
Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: Vivace is standing off on his own, lost in his thoughts. He kicks the dirt at his feet, and then embarrassed tries to place all of the pebbles back at their starting point and apologizes. "I really like to talk to people, I do! I just....I always feel so different. I mean, I guess I look like my dad 'cause we have the same tail, but I'm so much smaller than him. And it's nice to be small--like mom--and everything, but my brother has those wings to show for it! I just don't know where I fit in." Picking up a flower and putting it in his mane, Vivace stops moving for a second as if lost in a thought. "The worst part...is the music. They all talk about music like the world has never had anything better! The sound, the rhythm, the way it moves you..." (Vivace sticks out his tongue mocking) "I don't understand what they're talking about. Every song they play sounds like the same banging of rocks as the last song. How does THAT express feeling? Sometimes I think I'll never fit in."
10 Things I Like:
Smaller breeds
Natural patterns
Unnatural markings that are not pictures
Any colors
Something that would make them "unique" so Vivace feels like he can relate
Flowers/Jewelry/Trinkets
Flamingos
Any hair style
Any kind of theme: girly, creepy, certain cultures/eras...

10 Things I Don’t Like:
Baldness
Overly aggressive people
A mix of TOO MANY colors
Too much yellow
Random markings in other languages/symbols that I don't know
Markings that are more like pictures, including MLP stamps
Lots of black/grey/white with nothing mixed in.

What does your persona or your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? In a last effort of conversation before giving up, Vivace pulls the flower back out of his mane and gives it to the star. "I guess you could say nature is my music. The colors of it all! I want you to have this. Please help me find someone who understands me for me."

What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Two scales, one shed from her own back and one from her son, Xuan Teo.
Short IC Response:
It felt strange, being out here on this well-lit night, just like the last. When the wishing star had made itself known to her before, it seemed like a longshot, but she took it. Sadly, and it was something she remembered with a bit of a sting, it hadn’t answered her call. It had heeded others, though, or so the gossip said. Doan Vien, despite wanting to think she knew better than to be hurt again, was willing to give it another more shot.

”Star…” she muttered, looking up into the sky. ”I still cannot find her. I still cannot find Hong Yen Ha.” The mare’s voice was cracking already, she had to take a moment’s pause. ”I now have a wonderful mate and three more beautiful children, but my family will never be completely whole until I have my eldest daughter back at my side.”

At her hooves were two scales, one tinted green and one blue, but similar in size and shape. ”These are from me and one of my sons. I hope that these little pieces of us will help Hong Yen Ha find her way across the sea.” For split second, a look of guilt flashed across the mother’s face. Since settling with her mate, she hadn’t spent any time traveling to see if her daughter had made it to the Kawani lands. Still, she never gave up hope. She would always look to the horizon, waiting for the long-lost piece of her heart to come home.

Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: "I don't know..." He stammered over his words, "I just wish someone would understand me." Cyrus kicked his hoof in the dirt, his head held low as he sighed. "Mister star, I'm not like my family. I'm not smart like my sister, or brave like my mother." He frowned and closed his eyes. "I try to be polite to everyone like my mother taught me but I know everyone is laughing at me. Please, just send me one friend who understands."

What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? His precious spark stone
Short IC Response: The mini's head glanced up at the sky looking upon the star which had made itself known in the sky. Brightly shining, giving those with wishes hope. Zayford too had a wish, ever since his journey to this land he had wished he could find his precious sister

"Dear star," He murmured, feeling odd talking to an object in the sky. "I wish to find my dear sister. I lost her on our journey to this land, and I had promised that I'd look out for her. I would like to play pranks with her again and Sparks. A game she loved most dearly. Truthfully I don't think I deserve to find her. I haven't been a very good imp. I wish only to see her once again."

There was a bit of a pause in his small speech towards the celestial object as he offered up his best spark stone for it. "I offer you my spark stone, to grant this wish of mine."
