"Oh, of ******** course!" Clerise slapped her forehead with a hand. OF COURSE.
She had a runic dagger. Which meant she could charge a harpoon. Clerise chose to do so, letting the FEAR be siphoned from the weapon and into the harpoon.
"Poor little daggers," she murmured, patting them as they went dark, losing their charge.
"ANYONE WITH CHARGE-- USE IT HERE!" Might as well get the ball rolling.

What had just-
s**t. s**t!
Madison drew one of Kouki's blades and sliced herself free of the rope she'd been using to pull the harpoon-sled, then drew a second sword. Each harpoon required five full charges to fire. Could they possibly...
Everyone had to help, that was for damn sure. She was not going to die to this ******** overgrown octopus. Grimly, Madison flung herself at the nearest tentacle and sliced at it with one blade. "Eat like you never ate before, Kouki!"
A hungry snarl was the only reply as the serpent-sword sliced away FEAR; she hissed as the inevitable retaliation came, a fine rain of sharp ice that sliced at her limbs.

Ofelia took a look over to Clerise and nodded at her, the harpoon they both leaned on not doing so bad. "Two charges, we need what...three more?"
Why was talking so hard and why was she talking to begin with? She needed to get out there and fight but she was probably going to die on the next strike unless she hit it super weak, in which case Rue would rip her ear off.
Apparently though Ofelia forgot she had two sets of bandages she could use. Oh well.

Candace had been quiet, letting other people pull the sleds while she just watched her scanner. Normally when she was quiet because she was upset or something, but now she was just trying to concentrate on not dying. H believed in her, he said she'd do well. She was a woman who knew how to survive. She was his marvelous plum. A look was cast toward him every now and then as they walked, chuckling quietly to herself at how sweet on Sasha he was being. It was like watching a father and daughter on a simple stroll, not on a trek that could lead to injuries or even..deaths. Every sharp spike from the FEAR scanner got her attention, biting down on her lip a little each time. They were getting closer. It was the size of Rhode Island. ******** hell, they'd fought off a tentacle of that thing...just one tentacle of a..goddamn. At the sight of the hole Candace stopped, watching H get closer. "Yes, Doctor." Candace turned to do just that when she heard a snap. She turned on her heel in time to see a tentacle dragging H by his ankle. Her eyes widened and her heart felt like it stopped for a moment. There was a brief moment of relief when he managed to get free for all of a second, only to be held down with seven tentacles. Oh god..oh god..no...no no nononononononNO! "H!" She shrieked, watching with horror as he disappeared. No! No! He couldn't be..no! Not him! Oh god she was going to be sick. No. Not H. Not him. Not him no he was perfect he was amazing he was the one who had woken her the one who believed in her the one who flat out told them he survived the apocalypse no he couldn't be dead oh god no he couldn't be please no not him anyone but him no please oh god-- CANDACE! Atropos barked in her head, snapping the woman out of her panicked thoughts. Candace's vision was blurred, having not even realized until Atropos spoke up that she was even crying. What did he tell you before you left? What? What. Did. He. Tell you. He...he said...she'd do well. That nothing they were going to experience would change who she was. Right. But..but H-- Now, Candace. Do you think the H you know would want you to mourn him when there are better things to do?...No..he wouldn't. But she wanted to. She wanted to just sit on the ground and cry. It'd hurt to see what'd happened to Julie, it'd hurt to know Sandy and Barney died protecting them, it hurt that the nice Death hunter Ben had also died shortly after meeting them. They all hurt. They all made her sad. But this...this was crushing her. Her chest felt like there was a giant boulder crushing it, there was a painful lump in her throat, and she felt ready to throw up or just curl up and sob until she was empty of all tears. "Stick to the ******** plan! Get it sedated! If we don't, we're all dead!"Right...the plan. H's plan. They had to..they had to finish it. He couldn't be dead. He couldn't be. No. It was impossible. Not her H, not her lovely doctor. She coughed, clearing her throat and blinking back tears as best as she could. Be strong, Candace. Be strong. Don't break down here despite how badly you want to... Please god don't be dead...please no. If he turned out to be alive she would never do anything that could possibly annoy him or disappoint him ever again. She looked around to get a quick check of what needed to be done, and other than the tentacles everywhere, noticing right off the bat that Ofelia was in serious need of attention. "What the hell are you doing? Where is your Moon protection?" Sighing, Candace gingerly placed a bandaid on her arm. "Next time you attack? Make sure you have a Moon hunter, okay?"HP: 50/50 Division: Mist, taking on Life. Target: Ofelia - healed for 12 Healing done: 1/3

Feng got one more good hit on a tentacle, but it hit back with a vengeance. He went sprawling to the ground and landed hard on his knee. He had the charge though! Oh man. Finally.
He scrambled for the first harpoon, half running, half crawling. His knee actually hurt pretty bad. But he made it to the harpoon and looked around, trying to remember what to do. He slammed his charge into the rune and hoped that did it.

"Two more hits!" Madison shouted at Clerise - damn straight she was charging that harpoon, she hadn't dragged it all this way for it to do nothing! A tentacle snagged her ankle, yanking her down hard; she stabbed one blade into the ice and used it as an anchor, pivoting to slash at the tentacle with the other sword. A single slice, and she was free (though it was still around her leg, ew).
"One more!"

Somewhere, Wilson heard Clerise shout at the rest of the trainees. He cautiously inched away from the nearest tentacle and turned toward her. She stood next to one of the harpoons. His gaze flickered toward Ofie, who seemed badly injured and was tended by Candace. He made a mental note to immediately head for that harpoon as soon as he collected his charges.
A grin when he noticed a familiar moon trainee by his side. “Nice of you to join me,” he noted, amusement in his voice. There wasn’t much time for Wilson to chatter with Ryan. He heaved his cannons and slammed them into the tentacle, which retaliated, but fortunately didn’t give him much damage. “Nice defense, buddy!”

Another tentacle lashed upwards with horrifying speed - things that large shouldn't be able to move so fast, she was sure - and then plummeted, smashing into the ice next to her. Madison cried out and covered her head with her hands, but the ice fell around her like stones, pelting her and leaving sharp, livid bruises wherever it struck. Ow ow ow <********, ******** you!" she shrieked back at the tentacle, rolling up once the icefall was over. She launched herself more or less straight up, sinking both of Kouki's blades into the tentacle up to the hilts before cutting outwards, leaving a long, angry wound through the thing's flesh.
That was it. Where the ******** was the harpoon-

"Glad to be of service." He answered, pushing the tentacle back again as it threatened to hit the death trainee. Others were picking up the harpoons now, getting them charged and ready to fire at the titan, but would the plan really work? The thing, to put it short, was impossibly big. It made him doubt that a few harpoon shots would do anything other than to piss it off further.
"I'll try and hold off any attacks, you focus on the titan, okay?" He called back, bracing himself for further attacks.

"Um." Ofelia wasn't really going to talk back to Candace because that would be a death wish right now. The older girl looked like she was ready to kick someone in the throat and even though Ofelia wasn't really scared of getting kicked it was best just to shut the hell up and keep going. "They...are..uh. M'sorry."
It was reckless of her to rush out without a partner, sure, but then again Ofelia had never been the type to think straight and listen to others. She just enjoyed going out and hitting things and probably much more. "Thank ya." She sounded sincere and also not unlike a beaten dog, and as her wounds felt better she shifted her shoulders around to test the weight and strength. "Should Ah...look for someone or jus' go in an' fight? Ah. . . "
Okay, excuses. All the moons (she didn't know any moons other than Marcus, who was with Jordan) looked busy but she'd listen to what Candace had to say. The older girl was crying, or had been crying, and that demanded attention.

There! Madison spotted Clerise's brightly colored hair and threw herself in that direction, fetching up next to the harpoon. "Do it, Kouki!"
To her surprise, there were no complains; the serpent-sword released the FEAR he had captured and she felt the energy rush out, making the hairs on the back of her neck stand on end. "That's four!" she shouted. "One more!!"

Clerise nodded at Ofelia. "Yeah!"
But then, Madison was adding her siphoned fear as well. Clerise's only reply to that was a loud, shrill wolf whistle and a grin, hanging back to keep an eye on the gun.
Survival instincts won over playing with new toys-- but.
"GODDAMNIT WILLY." She ran to Rep across the ice, bandages out, slapping them on him with no gentle movement. "QUIT DYING. THANK YOU."
