Shenny felt a bit tired. No, the battle still amazed her, it was an exciting feeling of being in a proper place in a proper time, but she couldn't deny the obvious fact: they have no chance, and their deaths are just a matter of time. For a moment she wondered how would it be: would she fall stabbed in her back by the opponent she hadn't noticed?.. Would somebody pierce her throat, like she did with her first victim?.. What would she feel?.. The sorceress wasn't keeping a track of humans she finished, it's kind of hard and useless, but she understood she did pretty good. Perhaps, that was her true vocation, and with a proper training she could be a good fighter. Suddenly, Shenny noticed a warrior rushing at her. Despite the battle frenzy, she could admit he was beautiful, for a human, of course. Strong jaw, his face covered with scars, deep blue eyes had no fear or hatred, just pure anger. That was a good opponent. It was very quick, nothing like a good story to tell little scarelings in the evening near a cosy chimney. First, take care of the horse. Quick move, and Shenny hits horse's front legs cutting the tendons. She noticed a tiny opening at human's throat, and immediately jumped to pierce him, as she did with her first human. The ghoul was fast and powerful enough to take him out, but what she completely forgot about was his horse: well, you don't often come across the steeds in Halloween. Loosing its rider the animal went insane, and tried to run, but with its legs being cut, horse fell right on Shenny with all its weight trampling her to the ground ((Proceeding to the DEATH POST))

It went on, another barrage of human attacks this time more cunning than the ones he had fought before. Joachim had managed to drive the tip of his sickle into one of the human’s stomach but he was left open to an attack on his left. Before he could even blink and eye the human jabbed his dagger in to Joachim’s thigh before letting out a wicked laugh. He didn’t last long though as another unfamiliar Halloweener shredded him to death.
It hurt, his entire body was in pain as the reaper pulled his sickle out of the man’s stomach and clung to it like staff. Taking in a few deep breathes of air and closing his eyes tightly Joachim yanked the dagger out of his leg and screamed.
He tried to move forward to carry on but he was limping leaning to heavily on his weapon.

They attacked again, the humans as if telling the reaper that they were more than willing to kick him while he was down. The wound in his leg was pouring out blood rather profusely spilling all over the dirt as he tried to wield the sickle above his head and not lose what little balance he had managed to suffice.
Another human sunk his blade into his side, he screamed falling to one knee clutching the wound together.
It was painful, it was agonizing, as he swung his sickle around blindly.

He wanted to give up, he wanted to lie down on in the dirt and simply fall asleep even if that sleep was forever. Joachim thought propping himself up with the sickle. The voices of agonizing screaming was all around him ringing in his head as another human flew past him brandishing his weapon high above his head. He managed to continue running until a blade ran through his gut. They were like mice Joachim thought watching them all run around in no order, mice just like the ones he had in his room.
Never ending.
Sleep.
But the voice started to sing again, beckoning him to continue forward. It wasn’t time to give up he couldn’t give up. Dragging his feet up out of the dirt Joachim stood leaning on the sickle before limping into a group of humans swinging.

The singing continued as Joachim ignored the blood pouring from his wounds. He swung his sickle around in circles not caring any more if he killed the humans or not. Wound them! Wound them all! Make them bleed! Make them pay that was all that was needed to win the battle!
Joachim kept limping in his run, the blood splattering all over the ground as he went singing with the voice at the top of his lungs. He didn’t know the words that she sang but it didn’t matter it was the notes that was all he needed.
Sing and swing sing and swing sing and swing!

Yet he made a mistake! Joachim screamed as a human loomed overhead his sword held high glittering in the sunlight. It was going to come down, it was going to lob off his head it was over the battle for him was finally over!
But a scream sounded echoing in his ears as the human with the sword looked for the source, as a blur of fur and claws leapt upon him screaming in rage.
The human screamed trying to pull the creature off of him, his sword laying abandon on the ground.
Before he could scream the ally ripped his throat out.

5+ rounds auto death.
Joachim kept swinging, swinging the sickle around in circles cutting them, making the humans bleed or at least that was what he hoped he was doing. Yet it was all started to grow hazy, his entire leg and side was nothing but a layer of dried blood mixed with dirt caking him. It was getting harder to move, almost as if he was a stiff doll with rusted joints that couldn’t function properly despite the owner wanting to play with it.
The singing had faded away and Joachim collapsed on the ground clinging to the pole of the sickle. It was all starting to blur together as his eyelids grew heavy.
It was time to sleep wasn’t it? It was time to lie down in the dirt and sleep.
The last thought running through his mind was the question if they had won the battle or not before landing face first in the dirt.
Sleep.

The temple was warm and quiet, strangely untenanted. Siddie glanced around a little nervously, then sat down on the floor, tugging her skirts close around her. Was this another meditation exercise? The scent of incense was gentle and all-pervading. Soothing. It made her drowsy. She'd just close her eyes. That was good for meditation anyway ...
Everything was soft-edged, hazy, white. Hadn't they been in the temple a moment ago? Was she dreaming? Siddie blinked uncertainly; when the priestess appeared, however, she settled down and paid attention. If the priestess was here, giving them instructions, then certainly this was supposed to happen, and she hadn't made a mistake and fallen asleep trying to meditate. She hoped, anyway.
She frowned a little at what the priestess said. Questions were secondary to answers? Wasn't it the other way around?
But she'd been wrong about many things, she remembered. She was no longer so sure she trusted the Horsemen, but - maybe that didn't make what she'd figured out on the island of War any less true. She'd figured that out herself, rather than being told something and just accepting it. Perhaps she should just wait and see. She could take the lesson and figure out what it meant herself. What if she was wrong about the meaning?
But if she figured it out herself, maybe that was right for her, even if it wasn't right for someone else.
She mulled that idea over thoughtfully as the door opened and the whiteness came to life in bright day.

SIddie had never seen a centaur before. Centaurs tended to live in the wilder parts of Halloween; now she could see why - their bodies would be very awkward in the cities, she thought. She tried not to stare. Wherever they were, they were guests, and staring would be rude. But it was difficult. All the clothes worn by the creatures around them were simple. Archaic. Were they wearing costumes? What part of Halloween were they in? She moved automatically to take a weapon when told to do so, but she was confused. They were ... fighting humans? Why were they fighting humans? How could they be? Humans didn't come to Halloween. The copper sickle she picked up didn't seem like a very sturdy weapon, but it seemed the most intact of all the weapons within reach. She ran her fingers along it and examined the patches of verdigris. Was it still okay for fighting with? Why were they being given broken weapons? Was it because they were young, or was it because the situation was desperate? Make these humans remember what it is like to fear us.Siddie followed the group, confused nearly to the point of tears. She didn't understand. What were they doing, and why? Where were they? She bit her lip. She would be brave; she would show the priestess that she could complete this task without breaking down. The beginning of the fight was a blur, chaos, confusion, noise. Siddie struck out clumsily with her sickle, remembering vaguely that a sickle was like a scythe, the sort that reapers used to harvest souls - harvesting, like pulling in, slicing and gathering. Despite its flaws, her sickle was sharp. It clanged off a human's armor, then sunk into the seam between arm and hand plates. She angled it and pulled, feeling a strange elastic resistance, then a sudden popping sensation and a crunch, and her sickle came away bloody as the human's hand fell away, the stump of an arm gushing blood. It was only blood, she thought distantly. Why was the human screaming so? The sickle worked even better if she caught the seam between helmet and shoulders, she found. It took more strength and effort to pull the sickle through flesh and bone, and the weird slick-gritty drag as she cut a human's head off was terribly strange. The headless body did not scream. It simply fell to its knees, then forward and into her, knocking her off balance like a jointed doll with all its Fear drained away. Blood washed over her face and hands, soaking her wrap. It tasted strange, rich and thick and meaty. So unlike the taste of Fear. She ignored the fallen, inanimate thing at her feet and examined her dripping hands with curiosity. The howl of a human voice jerked her attention back to the fight. A human on a strange creature, a creature like a kelpie or half a centaur, was pointing its sword at her. Then it came rushing at her. She tried to duck to one side, but the not-centaur was fast. So fast. Her sickle caught deep into the human's bared thigh, ripping loose a hand-sized flap of flesh and a fountaining spray of blood, but its mount's hooves battered Siddie to the ground.

Quote: 1-20: You see several humans brandishing their weapons at you: they sting and hurt you badly, and you limp, trying to regain your composure. Lucien had to focus, he had to focus. There were weapons clashing and clanging all around him and this was no time for him to have his head in the clouds. He knew this, he really did but it was really hard. Really hard. It was definitely harder than that beautiful sculpted cliff face that he was most definitely not staring at before his eyes shot to the danger in front of him. There were several humans, looking quite smug and cocky with themselves as they found Lucien. Who could blame them? Lucien was certainly an easy mark, often getting his head stuck in the clouds. Not to mention he had almost no way to hurt them. What was a shield going to do?
Well, he hit them with it when they attacked him. It was rather difficult and tiring to do so but he couldn't let them get to him! He had to keep on his toes, but it was so difficult and there were multiple targets. He couldn't guard against all of them and soon one of the weapons he had seen earlier had hit him, quite badly. It stung, and Lucien let out a wail as he stumbled back, holding his shield out protectively.
"Leave me alone! What did I ever do to do?!" He never even raised a weapon at them and they came at him. He didn't understand.

Quote: 21-40: You manage to take out several humans, but anger an extremely fierce opponent. They rush at you, mounted on a steed. You manage finally to take them out, but not before their steed tramples you to the ground - YOU ARE DEAD (move to step 3) A shield had provided an effective tool to protect but also an unexpected tool with the ability to incapacitate the humans attacks. The humans who had injured him had stood little chance when Lucien unexpectedly slung the shield a little to high and hit one in the face, on in the legs (causing him to fall down in the heat of the battle) and one very unfortunate soldier in the crotch. He fell over with quite a wail, followed by Lucien.
He wasn't a goner yet though. He was just hurt and quite a bit tired. He managed to use his shield to help himself up as he hung over it with his back turned to the action for a quiet and peaceful moment. He didn't belong in this moment, or even this place. He stood, a limp following him from the damage he had taken from the encounter with his fallen opponents. It still stung, and Lucien let out a strange hiss as his hand cover his wound. So this was what a battle was like huh, a real battle. It wasn't kind and it wasn't pretty, there was certainly nothing honourable about this. It was this moment that he missed his peaceful life in the sky, but he knew had he never left the sky then he would have never met Israfel. He wasn't allowed to regret that choice, even if it had brought him here.
Here was now face to face with his next opponent, or was it two? A mighty stead. His shield had proved successful once again but although he managed to take out the rider, soon Lucien had become taken out by the stead.

It was definitely a bad way to die, but it stood no chance to what he had faced during the Death Trials. Why did he come here again? Why did he expect that he wouldn't end up dead once again. Well, it could have been worse. Lucien was pretty sure Israfel wasn't here, although he had his suspicions he had heard him singing to him. What was the chances of that though? He didn't want to even think Israfel might be here because that also might have meant he too was facing this dreadful fate. No, Israfel definitely wasn't here. He was definitely somewhere safe like Conquest, in Conquest Island but no where near the temple. Yes, that sounded safe.
It was a calming thought, a smile forcing its way onto Lucien's pained face. This time Israfel wasn't involved and that was a very reassuring thought as Lucien began to dissipate from this world. His bright blue eyes slowly closed as he faced the incoming dissipation but not before he caught sight of probably what would be the last thing he ever seen. He may have fallen and his life was ending but the battle was only heating up, it was getting worse. He could see the weapons colliding and the blood spraying over everything. The world would be painted red by the battle. His eyes finally closed and he was almost gone but he couldn't help wonder what this world though was (although perhaps a proper word would have been when), and why everyone was fighting. He could only wish it would end soon... and it did.
Lucien was gone.

Death was noisy, chaotic, full of stamping crushing jangling pain. No. Not death. Only dissipation. Weakly, Siddie tried to bring her sickle up to slice at the hooves battering at her body, but something in her arm was broken, and she could not move it.
Why were they killing the humans? Why were the humans killing them? These humans weren't Hunters; they were only humans, made to be scared and eaten. Siddie didn't understand.
Everything was going dark. Why should she struggle against the darkness? She was useless if she was too broken. Shadows were her substance and her home. The darkness would take her home.

Willow was fine in the room until it started to turn white. The whole thing started to be a little overwhelming as she watched. Doors appeared, and by now she felt she should expect such things. When they walked through the door to find a shadow valley the tiger looked a little... worried.
Things littered the ground, her eyes followed and tried to make sense of it. This wasn't.... hunters... She paused when they were facing a few creatures which were talking, named Chiron and Theseus? Willow looked at the wall of half broken weapons when one mentioned they should choose something. Her nose twitched as she looked on, she would rather fight in her natural form. It was more effective than half broken... things.
When the walk was short Willow's eyes grew watching the Chaos, They'll never win like this.... She thought to herself, it wasn't that hard to tell which side was which but the whole battle..... it almost seeemed... silly. Why were the humans able to slaughter their kind? These didn't look like hunters to her....
