Nodding his head Gamble smiled and said, "Now that we are all ready, the order will go as followed. Me, then Kari...then Drake. Now everyone...flip the cards..BEGIN"! Gamble flipped the cards and kept his best poker face on...but in reality he already knew...this game was over before it started. There it was, a perfect 21 in his hands, damn that impeccable luck of his. He always had the luck of the gods shining down on him. In his head he was pretty happy, he liked Drake as a playing partner and a fighter, but his tastes were....less than savory. Gamble really didn't want Kari to get raped...so as soon as he won, not only would that bar her from getting raped, he would put Kari in much more comfortable position..maybe placed in his care perhaps to make sure no harm comes to the young lady. He was a gentleman afterall. Finally he said, "I am going to stand".

Kari's expression never changed as she played. She only had a four of hearts and a 3 of diamonds. She looked at gamble, "Hit me? Is that the correct thing to say to get another card?"She wasn't sure if she was using the right english phrase, only having played the japanese version of the game.

Bo slowly opens the farest skylight from the group and dropped down on to the railing that held the roof up. The lights were farer down so none to very little light would shine on him. His feet slowly walk across the railing and moves towards the middle of where the groups was sitting playing cards...He could hear them speak now and while holding to the rail with hands now he bent his knees and watched with his closed eye look...

Gamble nodded and said, "Yes deary, here you are". Gamble took the card from the top of his deck and gave it to Kari..it was laying face down so he didn't see anything. Not like it mattered..he already won the game. He turned to Drake and said, "How about you"?

He nodded before speaking in that thick Romanian accent of his, "Hit me." He wasn't going to lose to gamble this time. He really wanted to ******** the girl and then paint her blood on the walls.

With that said, Gamble took the card from the top of the deck and slid it towards Drake. With everyone hit, Gamble said, "Does anyone else need to be hit"?

Kari turned over the card and revealed an ace. With this she had 17 and she didnt want to risk going over 21 so she kept what she had. "I'll keep what I have." The vision in her right eye went to David. She was hoping that this 17 was enough to at least beat his cards.

"Wonderful"! He exclaimed. "Now the for the moment of truth yes? Everyone, flip your cards. Kari, you reveal yours first". Gamble always loved dramatic tension, he always loved going last as well since he loved the surprised look on everyones faces when he reveals that he absolutely decimated the game. He wondered what kind of look Kari would have when Gamble would reveal that he basically saved her from rape. Ah it is wonderful to be the hero sometimes.

Bo watches them play the cards and he smiles as he see the blond man win, he could tell by what he could get from his face he was the poker player world known. He was a genius when it came time to cards, he had watched him played a few days before he was taken. Moving across the railing avoiding even being over lights he keeps moving... all them in sight

Gamble took a close look at her cards and added up the value. "Seventeen it is then. Good hand Kari..Drake...lets see yours now". Gamble was starting to feel sorry for the girl, she was extremely nervous and rightfully so. If Drake had a higher set of cards, then that meant Gamble was basically the only thing standing in his way. Of course she had nothing to worry about...though she didn't know that.
