As Syn finished up her food and listened to Nash's explanation, happy to be talking to her friend. "Would you be willing to teach me before the trip is over?"

She was surprised to find two others joining their conversation but excited as well.

The girl who she had seen reading admired her work and caused her to blush, scales rippling. "Oh...why thank you. I um...I wanted to draw something for the Dragon Goddess that is said to live her. I'm Syn by the way." she murmured.

At the Elemental's request, she beamed and nodded. "Oh, oh of course you can. I made more than enough."

Automatically she rose from her seat and prepared him a generous amount of stew and a nice chunk of bread. "I hope this helps. The snow must be hard on you right now."

Turning her attention back to Susan, she smiled kindly, and perched on the arm of Nash's chair, "Would you like some too? There's just enough for one more friend."

"Oh...I um...well noticed you're a fire Elemental when you...breathed out fire. My uncle is one so I...assumed. I'm sorry for pointing it out." she looked down and gave a slight boy of apology.

"There is tea as well. The ginger will help warm you if you'd like some as well. My mother made it for my Uncle in the winters."

Susan was excited to hear Syn talk to her, she had wanted a friend for so long, Syn thanked Susan for the compliment of her art work and offered her some food.. it smelled delicious.
"Oh you are very welcome, and why thank you, some food would taste good" she said to Syn politely and smiled at her. She took a seat next to them and felt a nice warm feeling inside of her.. It was the feeling of happiness, it had been a long time since Susan had felt happy.

Syn smiled at her two new companions and pulled down her scarf so give them both a smile, her lip rings and septum ring glimmering in the fire light.

"I'm glad you both enjoy it. I wanted to make something to share since it's my first week of school. What better way to make friends than through food?"

After staring at the elemental for a few minutes she pulled out an extre sweated she had folded in her bag and offered it to Hiro. "The more warmth the better right?"

As she poured out tea for the two, she glanced over at Nash and smiled. If not for him and Fin, she would not have been able to be comfortable enough to talk to these two. Letting him eat in peace, she happily continued socializing with the others from her perch besides him.

"Susan, if it would be alright, would you mind telling me what book you were reading?"

Misaki Shinonome

Misaki went down to the lodge. She actually was enjoying herself in this field trip. Of course she still had to play out in the snow but she had been looking for Suzume or Angela to accompany here. She passed by a few students she hadn't met yet who were chatting with each other to go get some tea when she noticed Professor Sinclair.

"Oh? Professor. How has the field trip been for you? Are you heading somewhere? You're all bundled up." Misaki remarked just to be polite. Sometimes she was a bit nervous when talking with the small witch since Misaki witnessed how scary she could be when she was mad. After all, seeing a child easily throw around explosive potions with a bored look on her face was pretty creepy after all.

((Since Vivian has no one, I'll just send Misaki to her. XD I'm being suicidal with all the characters I'm using right now. ))

Syn gasped excitedly ,"Oh I love Tolkin. Mother gave me the book when I was younger. Where are you at in the book?"

Happy to have someone to talk books with, her scaled rippled to a happy blue color that matched her blue green eyes.

"I'm 16." she smiled and rubbed her neck, "Although height wise, you'd think otherwise. Yourself, Susan? If you don't mind me asking?"

"I'm about half way through now, I love books, also, I am 18 years old, I dont mind your asking at all.. and you are not that small" Susan said to Syn and smiled.
