Or perhaps 'fail to hunt' was more appropriate... One quick look at Adi did betray that she had just thought the exact same thing as he had, and he grinned right back that her. Akakios and Grace didn't particularly need to be aware of this detail, through.
"We'll have to fix that, no ?" After all, it was such a disgrace that someone did not know how good deer meat was when prepared correctly, god or no. "After dessert, of course."
Hey, at least he would not be the one adult to rat them out.Akakios could not help but be amused as Grace asked his cousin the one question that possibly could not have an answer. As long as it was sweet, it most likely would find it's way inside Adi sooner than later.
He finally did stop at the table, and pondered exactly what to go for first. The cake looked mightly tempting... and so far, untouched, which seemed like a sin in itself, really !

"Yes, after cake definitely deer." Grace said enthusiastically. When they had lived in the forest her mother caught deer from time to time. "Then dancing I suppose? Your mother has a beautiful voice Kios." She laughed a little. "Though as Music I would be surprised if she didn't."
Grace reached out to help herself to some of the chocolate looking cake.

The look they shared told her they were thinking exactly the same thing, and Adi had to suppress a giggle. Her cousin and his friend definitely didn't need to know that she wasn't always awesomely coordinated when doing werewolf-y things like climbing trees and hunting game.
What to try first~? Kios was right, and most of the variety of sweets would end up in her stomach at some point, but which first? After serious consideration, she plucked up a little fruit tart, and was much quicker to eat it than she had been to choose it.
Adi glanced over when Grace mentioned Echo. She was going to have to introduce Elik to her aunt later, for sure. "I wish I could sing, but all I can do is howl."
It only sort of counted.

 "You mean you don't like my good humor?" Glyph teased, laughter in his voice as he gestured for Echo to walk with them, the sentiment having already been spoken by Xun.
Forest chose to 'behave' for the time it took them to wander, meandering through the bodies chatting or laughing. It was a pleasant ambiance, full of life and energy that invigorated the god. It didn't last long, however, as they fell into conversing again and spent much of the night visiting, talking, and coming to know their fellow pantheon dwellers.

"Of course she does." Really, that was simply to be expected of Music herself, no ? But he had to admit he enjoyed simply sitting idly and listening to his mother play, or sing. Tonight was a reminder of how privileged he was to be able to hear this daily, really.
"I am sure she could teach you, if you wanted ?" Echo was always looking for more students, after all. "I think she keeps hoping I will sing, eventually." It... was not in the plans, not really. Performing in any other way than recitation always made him too nervous to be really good at it.
While the tarts were being raided, Akakios busied himself with cutting slices of the cake. "Want some ?" He asked Grace, as he held out a plane for her.
Yes, they were being very naughty indeed !The fact that it took all but a second for Adi to eat the tart she had so carefully chosen was really amusing, through not as amusing as what he was planning, no. Whenever she would go for another, Elik would simply attempt to playfully steal whatever dessert from her, knowing that this would probably mean war.
Why bother to get his own desserts when his girlfriend could do it for him, after all~ ?

Grace nodded at the offer and grinned at her friend. Yep, the chocolate cake looked divine. Maybe she'd take some back for her mother ... if any were left.
"I sing sometimes, but only when no one is listening It probably sounds like howling." She sang at the cemetary now and again, when she was tending the graves.

"I'm not sure teaching would fix it," Adi mused, chuckling. She certainly wouldn't object to spending some more time with her aunt, though! "You don't sing? Are you bad, or do you just not like to?"
The first time Elik appropriated one of her desserts, she didn't object; the second time, she stuck her tongue out; the third time, she preempted another theft entirely by attempting to smash her slice of cake in his face.
Take that!

"I am sure she would like to try anyway." Akakios nodded. If only as an excuse to spend more time with her. He knew his mother well, really.
And really, he would not mind listening to either Adrienne or Grace, even if they claimed to sing badly. "I do not like it. It is... not for me, I figure." He was a composer, not a performer.
Lament passed the plates around before starting to eat his own slice, looking sideway to Grace when it became obvious that mischief was on the horizon. And indeed, trouble happened.
"Tsk tsk. What a waste of perfectly good cake." A playful reprimand, of course - Akakios was obviously biting back his laughter.
This was a perfectly good and valid plan until cake started to fly - Elik wasn't quite swift enough to dodge it. "Hey !" He pouted, over-exaggerated for his girlfriend's amusement.
If Whisteria thought he looked like a mess before, well... Now he was trying to get as much cake off his shirt as he could.
