Xander looks at Ren,"Sorry about what?" Xander licks his paws when he notices that they are rather small in comparison to what they used to be and built much better for agility.

Xander looks at Ren and says hesitantly,"I-Its ok." Xander then nudges Ren.

Thunderbolt looked into the distance and the place Buttercup once stood. In his honest opinion, she was probably as fast as he is with his booster on full thrust, and it looked like she wasn't even trying.
Taking it as a challenge and not one to back down, he was about to go after her. The laughter echoing in the forest enticing his need for the chase. Then something else caught his eye.
The sight of Ren and Xander close to one another. This brought a smile to Thunderbolt. He doesn't need to hear what they are saying but it was the beginning of something else, but something did catch his ear from Ren.
"Alpha?" he thought.

Xander thinks for a moment and says,"Well Cloud, Thunderbolt, and I am the beta so technically myself are the only runners for alpha male. Though you or Buttercup would also make great Alpha females." Xander looks away for a moment lost in thought. "After what happened with my previous pack I dont know if I should be Alpha."

Xander shudders at the thought of what happened with his old pack, "My sister was mounted by one of the wolves in my pack and in retaliation I killed him. It only escalated from there. Eventually their was a full blown attack against me and in it my sister died. I killed... them... all." Xander looks away sick to his stomach.

Looking out into the forest and back to the important conversation taking place, then the rain. He decided to stay and listen in. He made his way to them but stood back to give them some privacy, at the same time letting them know he was there.
"My condolences to you and your sister." Thunderbolt said softly, a bit shaken by his story.

Xander looked at Thunderbolt and thanked him with a nod from his head. He sees Ren start to cry and puts his head on her trying to comfort the fox.

Thunderbolt clears his throat getting their attention.
"Sorry, but while I was in stasis, I know many things have happened, but what ever happened to Alpha?" he asked
