 The Love Machine shuddered after Moure's attempt on it. Things started to hiss, and the beating of the heart started to quicken. Moure was just too damn sexy for it.
He'd shorted it out, and the game rules changed all over again. Additionally, it seems the temporarily power surge changed Shehk's Fear Compatibility number.. that's odd.

Watching Miss Danny play the game, the boil congratulated her. Though- "I am not sure you win anything? If so, Yǐn Cáng is perhaps the one who has bested us with the higher number? I am not sure if there is much else aside from the numbers..." Some boil who went after walked speaking of soul mates? Were there such things? This was put to the test as a ghoul, white ears and tail like him, got the same number. For a while, King stood there, slightly confused. She didn't smell like a wolfos. he did not know her or her name for that matter, and to top it off, he was still sure the machine was malfunctioned. But the one boil said it was indicating soul mates and the thing itself spoke of FEAR compatibility.. Walking over, King bowed. "Pardon Miss. I noticed you and I have-" he motioned to the machine, "received the same number. I am Frost in the Storm, known to some as 'King'. By chance-" He was slightly embarrassed. "know what this number matching might indicate in truth? I have never celebrated 'Scarentines' and I am told we must give tokens for those we favor?"

Zar nodded to Nuru. "If you want, we can beat the rush at the end of the night." He approved of punctuality, punctuality was professional. And besides, he'd put so much effort into his outfit, it needed immortalised forever.

 Sibyl stood to the side watching everyone play with the games and machines, particularly that of the love machine. So much love. But then one boil broke it! Sibyl's smile fell as she watched with horror. But..but everyone had been so happy! She'd heard someone proclaim him and his ghoulfriend as SOULMATES! Everything was ruined! The tiny ghoul cautiously stepped up to the Love Machine and poked at it, expecting it to explode or something. Nothing happened, but the scoreboard was still up. Hey wait, did that ghoul's number change? Weird! "Are you okay, Mister Machine?" Sibyl asked as she poked at the heart, tilting her head this way and that. No answer...maybe it was okay. It had to be okay. Everyone needed to find their soulmate. "You just rest up, okay? You'll be fine." Smiling, the tiny Selkie pat the machine and stepped off, looking around to find someone to talk to. Everyone was an option.

Okay, that was enough with that. The only thing good to be said was at least it was a demon and not a reaper that Titus was supposedly compatible with. Titus could live with that...perhaps. But his number was still a little too close to a certain reaper's. Though it was hard to avoid, this school was drowning in them 8|
Moving on to the next booth Titus finally found something he was after. Food. Or at least something resembling food. Turning the little knob without a care in the world Titus only briefly looked at the message (4ever alone? screw you candy) before popping the chalky heart shaped antacid into his mouth and chewing it with difficulty. After a struggled swallow he began to wonder how good of an idea it had been to try it. Oh well, couldn't be worse than the cafeteria food.

Mitsu had moved away from the compatibly booth and on to the next to see what it held. Mitsu had just picked up a cardboard heart with a pin in it when she found herself suddenly blindfolded. She let out a little squeak before she was suddenly spun in circles and then promptly booted in the rear in means to aim her in the right direction. What was she supposed to do?

Blindly fumbling around Mitsu finally felt a bit of cardboard under her fingertips. Was she supposed to pin the heart here? Was that the deal? If only she had know then maybe she wouldn't have been so terribly off. When she pulled away her blindfold she realized the problem. The heart she had grabbed had been meant for a different student counsel cut out. Junko to be exact and she had pinned this heart to Christof and to his eye no less.
"S..sorry Christof.." Why was she apologizing to the cardboard cut out? She felt she should as she gently removed the heart to place back on the table. Maybe she would try again later now that she knew what to do. Hopefully it wouldn't involve another kick in the rear.

MATCHMAKER MATCHMAKER MAKE ME A MATCH!
West was very proud of the fact that he barely looked at Levi as she and Hel flitted from game to game. He certainly didn't notice her whacking Hunters or getting candy or... was that a compatibility machine? He was going to have to try that for himse... what? No! Maybe. Fine. Yes.
The demon waited until the ghouls were well away from the area before he took his turn, staring at the indicator as if it held the secrets of the universe.
He really wanted a twenty. No reason or anything.
When it stopped on 13, his face contorted into something approaching his everyday expression and his fist lashed out, striking the side of the machine.
"SCREW YER THIRTEEN!" he shouted, turning to Sibyl. "It was you, wasn't it?" West turned back to look at the scoreboard. "Danny?" He just sounded kind of defeated now. It was rather pathetic.

As Titus moved on deeply regretting the chalky antacid he had forced into his face he spotted another game. One he was slightly familiar with having ventured into some of the student's dreams. This only solidified that it was a game in his mind. These silly Amityville students.
Not one to pass up beating on something the nightmare demon took up a mallet and began to beat away at the little Hunters, smashing them back into the machine. He wasn't too terrible bad at it, ending with a total score of 11. It was passable, perhaps he would try later.
Flipping the mallet over his shoulder the demon strolled off to see what else there was beyond the games. Tormenting someone a possibly eating real food was on the agenda. Did he smell sausage?

Merope drifted into the game area from the direction of the tables, his hands held behind his back as he took one slow step at a time. There was something about the entire set-up that felt familiar, something that made him tighten his grip on his hands. What was it? Did he even want to know? Merope's ear-fins flared briefly before settling down into their loose semi-drooping normal position. He could wonder about that later.
For now, he felt compelled to investigate the bittersweets machine, his hand reaching out to give the machine a swift crank. He cupped one hand beneath the dispenser, closing his fist around it once the machine deposited it into his hand. Armed with his prize he wandered away from the machine, opening his hand and looking at it.
"5ever Alone?! Oh come on." Merope groaned, popping the candy in his mouth and chomping down on it irritably. That would show it.

Sibyl saw Siddie. OH MY JACK IT'S SIDDIE! SiddieSiddieSiddieSiddiewasniceshelikedSidd--
OH JACK IT WAS THE BOIL WITH THE PINK HAIR! Sibyl stopped dead in her tracks and began to backpedal away. He wanted to use her as a club. That was bad. She was not a club, she did not like clubs. Stay away! Stay away!
Looking around in a panic, Sibyl ducked behind the first larger thing she could find; it just so happened said 'thing' was an older student. Sibyl ducked behind the larger fins, even grabbing hold of one to stretch it out in a way that it fanned out in front of her. It was then that she noticed one problem...there were holes. Never mind that this was clearly a student, she wasn't bothered by that, but he couldn't cover her.
"Hidemehidemehidemepleasefriend!" She whispered in a panic, eyes wide as she ducked behind him as much as the small Selkie could manage.

"I'm not gonna... fer Jack's sake," West said, reaching for his own candy before irritably stomping away. It wasn't like he was actually going to punch anything... okay, fine. He had just punched the Love Machine, but that was different.
He made it all the way over to Ghost-Man before he opened his palm. King of Pain? Okay, maybe that made him feel a little better.

He jumped as he felt one of his fins being lifted, pulled up into a higher-than usual position. Merope grimaced, distaste crossing his features as his other fin flailed about, trying to match it in height. "Wh-hey, hey. Can you let go of me?" The boil whined as he looked over his shoulder, shaking his fins until she let go. Freed, he turned around and shook himself again, fins flaring briefly before settling down again as he looked down at Sibyl quizzically. He glanced around the room, unaware of the wrath demon. "What was that all about?"

"Sorries!" Sibyl immediately released the wing, still ducking and hiding behind the boil. When he turned she followed suit and shuffled until she was still behind him, at least until she realized doing this just sent them in circles and moved her closer to West. Oh Jack no! She squeaked and darted around him again to stay far from West, though it was then that she was asked a question. What was tha--oh! Wide turquoise eyes darted up toward the larger boil. What? How could he not understand that boil was dangerous!
...She had to protect him.
Sibyl looked past Merope a moment and then at him, looking the boil from foot to head. He had a large, large tail..big clawed feet. Horns. Fins. W..was he a dragon?
The best thing to do here was be his friend, obviously. "Don'thurtme!" She squeaked out at first. Wait! Wait no! That was bad! Sibyl pouted and knocked at her own head a few times as if to clear it of strange feelings. There was a pause as she regained her composure before she took a deep breath...annnnd..
She suddenly stood straight with her arms held out on either side of her, eyes wide and grinning ear to ear. "HI~! I'm Sibyl! It's nice to meetcha! What's your name? I like your clothes! S'all piratey arrrrrr! You gots some pretty big horns too. Do you know there's a piece of your face missing? Does it hurt? Can I touch it!? You look like a big dragon but you have fins not wings are you a water dragon?" She didn't seem to breathe for any of those questions, but there was a huge smile on her face regardless. NEW FRIENDS!
