TG stayed in his seat, deciding that he would move it only if it was a dude. If it was a ghoul, then he could keep the chair parked where it was. Right now, he took his seat and stayed there. He wasn't about to move to another table. Whoever wanted to find him would have to come to him. There were too many students running about, with dim lighting, that he would wind up being tripped over, and he nearly escaped being smushed by Sura and her confusion over her bizarre noises. Maybe he shouldn't drink the punch then if it was causing those sort of things.

Amarus stared at the ghoul. Stared for quite a long time, as she tried to understand what lay behind that expression. She hadn't been bad at first-- friendly, pleasant enough, and she didn't talk about shopping. But it seemed to have gone downhill."Yes. Neil is--" she cut herself off, stared again, and then said, "Neil has a hat collection which can rival any collection ever seen." Which was entirely made up, and not founded on anything. "He also likes to build rafts out of scareons and sail them on the lawn."

Amarus clearly was not even paying attention at this point. She started to pay attention enough to repeat key words: "Feeling... cupid... butterflies-- wait, arrows?" What the hell kind of good feeling was this? It involved gnomes? So far those little creeps were pretty raunchy, Amarus wasn't sure what about Genora's description (what she'd heard, anyway) made it interesting to like someone in particular. "Can't anyone be your someone? It seems like you just have to swallow some bugs." Amarus was weird, but she wasn't that stupid. She knew what Genora meant, in this particular case, but... she didn't know the answer. Was there someone for everyone? It was hard to imagine, given Amarus could barely muster a genuine smile most nights. Neil made her smile, and Muka was entertaining... trying to smack Sparrow around was fun. Whoever could compete with her physically was basically OK in her books. In any case, Amarus didn't really want to discuss her feelings with anyone, much less a stranger.

Partly because Amarus did not have any friends who were also ghouls, and partly because her social skills were lacking, Amarus did not realize the significance behind the piece of paper. Nor did she see Genora mouth the text me sometime, so she reached over and picked up the paper, unfolding it without noting the shape. "A secret, perhaps?" Curious and constantly in trouble, she had mumbled that before the numbers registered. She discarded it in boredom when she realized it was just a bunch of numbers, leaning back in her chair with her feet up against the edge of the table, rocking herself back and forth on the back legs of the chair.

"Genora... I wanted to punch you in the face, but I think I would break you," she lamented."What do you think?"

And that was probably going to set fire to whatever was left of the conversation. Amarus looked forward to watching it burn.

She grinned openly at Muka when he acknowledged her compliment, nodding her head approvingly. "I wonder if they'd consent to a duel... Eih."

She realized their time slot was over, however, and said her goodbye to Genora. Well, more like saluted it. She leaned over Neil's chair, hugged him and squished her cheek against his face for a second in a gesture she could not explain even if she tried, and waved to Muka. While she was near Neil still, she muttered, "I'd better see you around later, it's boring here-- don't make me suffer alone."

(( I AM A PROXY POST FOR HUNI ))

Despite the fact that his Clan never celebrated Scarentines, the tikbalang eventually realized his error in comprehending why students were signing up. This was apparently some form of intelligence gathering and sharing! The still-beating hearts and bloodied lips were an alluring touch and the horse boil would have thought so until it dawned on him that Needle would be keeping someone else's company. The disappointment suddenly gnawing at his chest became visible on his face as his lips pulled into a frown.

Whoever this "TG" was, Petro only hoped they wouldn't do anything to upset his dear very friend. Whom he had kissed. And made his heart flutter and his stomach flip. But he knew her enough that she could fend for herself and that she enjoyed making friends. So with that in mind, the horse boil offered the Engraver his arm to lead her to Table 3.

(( AND THIS IS THE END OF THE PROXYING ))

"Thank you, Petro." Needle had taken his arm without hesitation even though the contact made her pale face turn pink, and her gratitude was her parting words as he guided her to sit down in the free chair near the small creature.

"You are TG, I assume?" She inquired, her head tilted to look down in his general direction. Today, the ghoul wore something similar to what she always wore; a dark blue, sleeveless kimono-type garment with a long, ripped trail of a red obi, her long hair untied and free to fall as it would. As always, her arms were littered with tattoos and needles, none of which were ever able to change. "My name is Needle, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance." She introduced herself with a slight smile, offering an ink stained hand in the boil's general direction. The name sounded familiar...

TG looked up in time to see a rather buff boil in nothing more than a loincloth (and not even a fancy one) trot his way. The trotting didn't bug him as much as many cloven-hooved creatures lived in his neighborhood, but ponies were another thing. He also noticed the ghoul, and smiled wide. What was her name again? Lattice? He was very good with names, and he hoped that it wasn't the boil he was going to be talking to. Yet, didn't Freya say Lattice didn't have a boilfriend? Punk must have snatched her up - not that that ever stopped him.

At the introduction, he smiled as if she was kidding or had poor memory. Then again, she was a ghoul, and he doubted her mind could think that far back. He took her hadn and kissed it, making sure to glance at the boil and kiss her hand once more, before releasing. "Needle? I thought.." He caught himself. Was his memory that bad? He was usually spot on with names! "Uh, yes. It is TG. It's always a pleasure to meet you, Needle." He glanced at the boil who had escorted her.

"Who is your little friend?" He asked, patting the seat right up against his.

The kisses to her hand made her smile, if not offer a slight giggle. "What a gentleman~" She noted outloud, settling both hands neatly on her lap once they were free. "You thought?" Needle repeated as though urging him to finish what he was going to say, her head tilting as she observed him patting the seat, trying to figure out what it was he wanted from her. "Ah!" Yes, of course! The Engraver happily scootched over, taking the seat so close to his own. Personal space? She had no idea what that meant, truly.

"Petro. He is certainly not a little friend." She had briefly turned to look at Petro's retreating figure as he was brought up. What about Petro said he was little? The Tikbalang towered over her and her sister! Certainly over the small one at her side, too. "None of my friends are little." The soft smile was back on Needle's lips, meaning what she said in a surprisingly innocent way; the smallest friend she had was perhaps an inch or two shorter than herself, and she certainly didn't know this boil enough to call him a friend, either.

"I am unfamiliar with these events, please pardon my inexperience." She bowed her head just so. "But I believe the point of this is to learn more about each other, correct?"

With a nod Titus followed the undead ghoul to table 2 and promptly pulled out a chair whether someone was getting ready to sit or not and plopped himself down after letting the ghoul go. Instantly he made himself comfortable, slouching back in his chair. His face looked discontent with the whole ordeal but here he was, might as well make the best of it. And the best of it was really nothing nice.

"So you're Shine? What are you anyway? Zombie?" Though the hands were a little weird, maybe she was a patchwork. In that case scraps was probably going to be her name very shortly.

Leaving the boil to take her own seat, she carefully climbed into it, tucking her legs under her. Chairs weren't the most comfortable thing, but if she pretended she was sitting on the floor, it was manageable.

His question caught her off-guard; for some reason, she forgot that they were supposed to be talking. That's what all of the other students had done, right?

"Oh, um...yes. Yes, zombie. Witch...zombie." She hoped that wasn't too confusing. There were other things called witches here, which made it a little difficult to introduce herself. "What....what are you?" The ghoul was obviously most curious about his species because of his teeth: she opened her mouth and poked at the bottoms of some of her front teeth in some sort of demonstration, closed it again, and stared enviously at his teeth. Hers weren't that sharp. Maybe it was the candy. Was candy bad for teeth?

"....is candy bad...for teeth?" She hadn't meant to ask that aloud, and she sunk down in her chair a bit, suddenly ashamed. "Sorry, um. Sorry...do you like it? ...candy?"

"Correct." He answered, though TG winced at the earlier statement. Did she have a thing against small people? The way she said it made it seem like she was almost selective to only pick those taller than her. His tail twitched in response, wondering if this conversation was going to wind up half as nice as the one with Sura.

"Is there a reason why you don't have small friends?" Was this the same ghoul he met at the Maul? Needle had been kind to him, and even gave him a kiss. Now she seemed to be rather serious though still soft-spoken. "I thought we hit it off nicely at the Maul, and with that kiss, well, I thought we were friends then." He pouted at her. "You're hurting me here, baby." He said, touching his chest, before reaching over the table to pick up his card.

"I have never had the honor~!" Needle answered with a shrug, somehow missing how potentially cruel her words were. Confusion started to set in as TG began to speak. Maul? Kiss? Friends? ...Hurt him?! Her mask hid the confusion in her eyes and sadly, the slight purse to her lips may have been hard to read without them visible. There was a prolonged silence as she mulled it over, and when a few dots connected she began to giggle softly.

"I can assure you, TG, that I have never had the fortune of meeting you before now." Needle seemed amused, reaching down to lightly pat his arm. Suddenly she realized why the name sounded familiar, and certainly why he seemed so confused; she didn't blame him, it happened often to them. "My dear sister has told me of you, however." Normally, she might have mentioned that they were twins; but considering how thoroughly he had mixed them up, she was confident that he could connect those particular dots.

"Witch...zombie. So you were once a witch turned zombie?" That explained the hands....maybe. Titus wasn't entirely sure, he'd never really seen a witch with hands like that either.

When asked what he was in return he sneered as if it should be obvious. His tattered wings gave a bit of a twitch as if offended, tucking close to his body as he started to explain. "Shark bat, I come from a long line of shark bats." No one said he had to tell the truth. Besides this ghoul looked dense, maybe it was the blonde hair, but she appeared like she might believe anything. He gave a snap of his teeth as if to demonstrate them for her since it seemed to be his mouth she was starting at. "Like what you see, huh?"

The random question had him quirking a brow, it was like it had just come tumbling out of her mouth. "What are you twelve? Who eats candy?" Titus ate candy and rather liked it himself. Was he going to say that now? No. "I'm pretty sure candy summons bad fairies that come to damage your teeth while you sleep. Do you sleep?" The last question was a legit inquiry since having a face made it easier to tap into someone's dream.

She hadn't been clear enough, had she? The ghoul grew more and more uncomfortable as her social shortcomings became more obvious. "No...not...not exactly." She had fished up the hem of the fancy tablecloth and was busy picking the seams out, pale blue eyes occasionally flashing up to look at her partner. "It's just, um. A kind...of zombie." Doubting that it was worth explaining, she quickly latched onto another point of conversation.

"Shark...bat..." she mused aloud, eyes narrowing thoughtfully as she gave him another careful look. He had the wings...and the teeth...but why horns? "Horned shark bats?" Maybe a little clarification would help. His impressive chomp elicited another tiny smile from her; it faded as she nodded in affirmative. "Yes, I um, I wish I had...well, teeth...like yours. But I don't, because-"

Because of bad fairies, apparently. She grew restless and tore a little hole through the tablecloth, eyes widening, jaw clenched shut. There were a few moments of awkward silence as she calmed herself down again, thinking very hard about the nice things Rain would do to prevent her from frenzying. Like lollipops and hugs. Oh, right - he'd asked about candy and sleep, hadn't he?

"Candy is good." Of all the things she'd said, this was very clearly an important fact, spoken clear and just a little louder than everything else. When she spoke again, her voice returned to its hushed softness. "I sit, um...in the dark...a lot. And try to sleep...sometimes. Nice to feel..." Normal, she wanted to say, but she stopped for fear of offending him. It was normal for the characters in her books to sleep, but all of the students here were all too different to gauge what "normal" would be. "I mostly read, though....do you? Read? Or...just what the teachers...make you read?" It was a very terrible attempt at a joke, but she seemed pleased with herself, lips tugged up in a half-smile.

Tess... That was the name of Amphi's partner in the previous round of meet-and-greet; she had mentioned something about a ghoul with her internal organs hanging out of her body... Looking at the tables, he saw nobody fitting that particular description, and thus, set out to look for the ghoul who was supposed to be his new partner.

She was spotted easily though - other than the fact that she was missing the lower half of her body, he also noticed... Severed hands following her? Or rather, they seemed to be pulling her around.

Tugging on his coat to straighten it out, he made a beeline towards her, stretching out his hand to gently take hers in his own, offering her a grin, "I apologize in advance for my boldness, but are you Tess, by any chance?" A short pause, "I'm Thanatos. I believe that we're supposed to be partners for this new round of meet-ups?"

Her "match up" at this little soiree was not very encouraging to the winged ghoul. Not very encouraging in the least. Maritess was more than happy to leave unnoticed and as quietly as possible because she was feeling out of place and utterly ridiculous in this situation. Legs would have been more at home at social gatherings but then again, Legs would probably be encouraging more raunchy interactions and so it was probably for the best that Tess had no idea where the lower pair of limbs had gotten.

She'd begun to turn for the exit when a boil approached. Crimson eyes immediately darted to a returning hand holding a marker and the winged ghoul silently promised it was going to be drained completely upon their return to her dorm room. Despite the seething frustration, Tess managed to school her features into a pleasant smile, "Oh are we? I was under the impression we were only given one opportunity," she chuckled sheepishly, accepting his hand while the other gave a hard yank at the leash the limbs were attached to. "Lead the way to our table, then. Tell me, Thanatos, do you enjoy going to these school functions?"

He raised an eyebrow at the leash, but said nothing as he nodded, leading her towards an empty table; someone had already taken table 4, so he had to settle on Table 1, which was oddly empty.

"Apparently, we were each given as many opportunities as we wish to use," He chuckled softly, letting go of her hand only to pull out the chair for her, inviting her to sit... Not that he had any idea how she was supposed to, with half her body missing; it was the gesture that mattered in the end.

"This is my first school function, but I am enjoying myself thus far," He replied, his grin almost mirroring that of the huge snake that was rested on his shoulder, her long body partially coiled around his arm; her grin was much friendlier, despite being that of a snake's.

"I'm Bissskoto," She hissed happily, tongue flicking in and out of her mouth as she leaned forward, towards the ghoul, "Pleasssure to meet you!"

With introductions out of the way, he paused, shooting the leash another look, "And yourself? You look like you had been forced to attend."

The appendages settled amicably on Tess' shoulders, though one looked like it wanted to give Thanatos' familiar a quick stroke. "A pleasure to make both your acquaintances," the ghoul smiled, completely unaware of a certain imp nearby. Thankfully, Legs had yet to merge and share that particular encounter with her. Otherwise, well, she might just turn undead from utter mortification. As it was, Tess attempted to look dignified in her response, "Was I that obvious?" a pale palm touched her cheek in mild embarrassment.

Tess was obviously doing a poor job of appearing like a gracious guest if a complete stranger could point it out. "My other half was insistent we attend. Do you have disagreements of that sort between yourselves?" she asked of the reaper and his familiar.
