Coins fly everywhere. Freak hits the ground right next to Landry, having taken a shot as well. The two opponents and career rivals are sprawled out on the floor, surrounded by spare change. It was a dastardly move indeed, as effective as it was unexpected, a staple of Smokey Mountain and 80s Memphis Wrestling, rarely seen anywhere north of the mason dixon line. Although it might have had some relevance to Landry, as it was the very weapon Freak used to put his opponent down when he helped his partner win a title elsewhere.
Freak, staying on his back, puts his near arm over Landry to make the pin attempt!

Landry wasn't moving, and the audience in attendance was booing the whole way as Freakshow made his way over to the challenger. He had been struck in the head several times, and no one knew if he had what it took to kick out again. The referee was still slightly dizzy, and had to take his time to count the pin.
"1.....2....."NOOOO! Out of nowhere, Mike was able to throw a shoulder up to save himself!

Landry kicks out! Freak flops off of him onto his back. He rolls a few spaces away before settling on his side. He lays there, the entire arena was buzzing, the match had gone on for a good while. Both opponents had taken large amounts of punishment but were still, be it through endurance or blind fate, keeping themselves alive in the match. Audience members begin to pipe in with chants of You Suck towards the champion.

Landry was waking up, staring up at the bright lights, chest heaving and wondering if the match was still going on because he had no idea if he made that last kickout. Apparently it was, because the referee was standing over the two of them and no one's music was playing. This did not change the fact that he was still completely exhausted.

Freakshow begins to claw his way towards corner of the ring. He would find himself a spot against the bottom turnbuckle. In the corner he slumps, running a hand through his sweat soaked hair. Here he would rest for a moment. The two competitors had just been through a prolonged burst of back and forth attacking, fueled by adrenaline, adrenaline that atleast for the champion, was beginning to wear off.

Landry was able to fight his way up to his feet, much to the approval of the audience in attendance. He looked around, and saw the fans on their feet, he too on his feet, and Freakshow slumped into the corner after handing Landry his very best cheap shot. A shot that worked once before, but not this time. He was re-invigorated, and new resolve began to grow. He gestured boldly with his hand towards Freak, for him to get up, get ready, and get over here so he can get his a** kicked.

The champion reaches up to the top ropes and hoists himself up. Freakshow then pushes himself off and heads towards Landry, arms hanging low at his sides, nearly tripping over his feet a few times.. Sluggish and zombie like in his movements, he would meet his opponent in the middle of the ring. He holds both hands up in a sloppy boxing position, and tries throwing a tired looking texas jab at the cheek of the challenger. If it connected fans would let out a punctual cry of booooo!

The jab landed like a childish slap, and Landry, now refueled with addrenaline, was able to retaliate with a right hook of his own. If it connected, the'd throw another, and another, and another, and another! Always pushing forward until Freak is backed into the ropes.

"C'mon you son of a b-!" Freakshow slurs before being cut off by a hard right hook! Freaks arms windmill, he steps beck, before getting peppered with a follow up shot! The champion is snapped backwards with blows until he finds himself backed up against the ropes, out on his feet, his positioning in the edge of the ring was the only thing keeping him up.

Mike would try and grab hold of Freak's arm and give him a strong irish whip into the opposite ropes.

Freakshow is sent barreling across the ring at breakneck speed, despite his lack of energy, the momentum from the whip carried him the whole way. He hits the ropes and comes bounding back towards the challenger!

Landry moves to meet him half way, where he leaps up and tries to nail Freakshow with his Hurrikick! (Corkscrew calf kick to the chest)

Freakshow is swept off his feet with the Hurrikick! He hits the floor hard, bouncing up off of his back and almost somersaulting backwards onto his stomach! The fans were really starting to get behind the revitalized Landry.

Landry kipped up and the crowd erupted with cheers. Landry was on fire, and he was set to finish this thing once and for all. He stalked Freakshow from behind, signalling he was ready to knock him out with his American Neck-Tie.

Freakshow, running on fumes, gets up to his feet surprisingly quickly. He bumbles around for a few seconds, he finds himself facing the edge of the ring, throwing a couple wild swings at where he thought Landry was, which was in front of him as opposed to behind, where he really was. The Innovator grabs both of Freaks arms in position for the American Necktie! His finishing maneuver that'd put away some of the best, and if it could put away the best, it could certainly put away Freak.
But not this time. The champion, once set up to have the switch pulled on him, dives at the ropes, trying to go right through the top and middle! As the move nearly required Landry to be on his back, he hoped to throw both himself and the challenger out of the ring.
