Bro's smoke trick was a success. In the haze glittering lines flickered into view across the doorway.

"Excellent thinking!" Lore gave the Gengar an approving nod, "Now we'll know when they're properly disabled. Speaking of which, Ghost types seems to be the winning idea. I'll give another vote to the turn intangible yank the wires suggestion." He turned to the pair of ghosts, "You guys up for it? Should work as long as you get all the wires in one yank. Leave any behind and it'll fire a malfunction signal." he looked back at the glittering lines, "If you can just disable the bottom two we should be able to crawl under the rest."

Xander would have hugged Celty if he could, sadly it wasn't likely to happen any time soon. "If you had just stolen them then Celty wouldn't be this happy, I was just curious why Iza did so but that's something I doubt you could know. The man loves his secrets." Xander said and waved his hand like he was trying to dismiss Shawn's worries. "And yes I know him."

..........Was Bro smoking?! The blond double-taked as the ghost made 'smog' for them.

"..or that," Hayes blinked as the Gengar disappeared and popped back a second later.. with cigarettes, which only make it look more like a fat tattooed gangster. All it needed was a fedora. "Nice going. Hm?" The quiet grunt - the oldest one in the group, from the look of it - had spoken.

"That'd work too," the elite acknowledged. "But there's usually at least one guard watching the monitors, so.." He waved a hand vaguely, as if to demonstrate what would happen if they all went dark at once.

Bro let out a little chuckle when it worked, slipping the cigarette back between his teeth in triumph when the lines showed.
But then Lore continued with a new job for the ghost types.
widening his eyes a little as he payed attention bro game a nod to confirm hat he could totally do that.
Pulling wires, easy!

Pulling the cigarette back out of his mouth, he held it out for Xander to hold. gliding over to stick his face into the wall, where he searched for the wires that Lore had talked about.
Well, he saw wires, and as he gathered them, he leaned back out to see if the other ghosts had theirs ready to pull.
"Gang gar gar?" [Got mine, ready on yer end?]

As Celty whirred over near her hair, Tambrey smiled and put a hand up. So it was really difficult to pet a ghost; she assumed the Spiritomb would appreciate the gesture at least though.
"Pygi'd say hi if she could." The grunt told her, tapping the corresponding pokeball.
As Shawn asked Tambrey hesitated, then nodded slightly. "Kind of. Not really very well, but we've met a couple o' times. Always seems nice." Plus there was that last mission; she wasn't sure how he was doing now, really. Perhaps she could catch up. "It's nice of him to loan you his pokemon."

She turned her attention back to the problem they'd been working on.
As Bro vanished and then returned to do his smoke trick, she gave a little surprised tilt, finding her mouth turn slightly upwards at the corners. That was really clever.

Trick drifted out from the wall, nodded to Lore, and drifted down through the floor next to the left-hand sensor. she answered to Bro.

[awwwesome babe, then on three; one, two, three] On the count of three, Bro' yanked all the wires in his hand out.

When the count started, the wires Trick was focused on started to glow. On the cue, they all jerked out cleanly, and Trick gave the equivalent of a "Tee hee!" as she reappeared just above the flooring.

Asch had been mostly silent and brooding since they'd come out of the closet. He followed closely and went along, waiting for a moment to be useful.

He appeared next to Hayes when cameras and guards were mentioned. "My Zoroark can create illusions for the cameras.

When the ghosts yanked the wires popped free and just like that the bottom two lines vanished. No alarms, no sirens. Easy as pie.

"We.. are awesome." Lore smirked at the group, "I think we all deserve a-"

"Whims!"

Lore blinked, eyes twitching to the blue-horned Whimsicott, flailing its nubby arms from the floor, "What is it Esp?"

"Cott, whimsicott." He pointed at a minuscule ankle-high dot on the wall beside the group. It looked like a fleck of dirt.

Frowning, Lore approached the little grass type and hunkered down beside him to peer at the dot. Cappuccino waddled over to join them. Lore was silent several moments.

".....I'll be damned.." He squinted, leaning closer, "...you're right, buddy. Well spotted."

"Cott."

Still frowning, he looked back up at the group, "..this pinprick in the wall is also a sensor. Damned near impossible to spot.. I've seen this sort of thing before but.. I wasn't expecting anything this high tech. Not in a museum. I imagine the obvious ones there were to distract us from it."

Hayes was frowning too - a worried sort of frown, as he reached up to adjust his nonexistent glasses. Another motion detector.. maybe. "Did we just trigger it?"

Lore nodded, "We've been shuffling around in front of it for a good five minutes. It could've set off a silent alarm but.. the guards should have come down on us right away. Maybe it's disabled."

The elite drew a breath and glanced toward the tall marble-linteled passages leading into their current room. The quiet was playing tricks on his ears; if he strained, maybe he could hear - or think he heard - someone walking. "Don't chance it," he decided. "Let's get what we came for and get out ASAP."

They were close now. Still keeping a watchful eye out for more sensors, he moved past the sensors and continued on.

"No disagreement here." He nodded at the others and scuttled after Hayes through the sensor gap they'd just opened up.

Nothing alarming presented itself before they arrived at the nearby central chamber. It was brighter than he hallways, illuminated by moonlight filtering down through the domed glass ceiling. Everything was cast in shades of blue. In the center of the room the Sky Plate glittered on its pedestal.

The room was quiet. No sign of guard activity. No sign of anybody.

Lore glanced around, looking a little unnerved. "..right. So remember, the cameras are fixed on the exhibits.. don't get too close to any of them. We need to grab the plate from a distance. Suggestions?"

"Huh. So you're good for something other than just silly antics?" the teen asked Bro, smirking up at the smoking ghost. "Just be careful you don't set off the smoke-alarms instead. That would kind of defeat the purpose of all this stealth."

He glanced back at the blonde agent and shrugged, smiling skeptically. "I don't know. Nakura seemed kinda happy that I offered to take them off his hands for a while. I'm not so sure his pokemon are that much more fond of him than he is of them. Er, not like I know the guy." He frowned.

"Wait, 'Iza'? This the same guy we're talking about here?" Shadow paused. "Sorry, I'm not even positive about your name. Agent Xander...right?" If Nakura was really all that secretive, then maybe there wasn't much point in trying to make sense of the guy and his motives. At least this agent seemed to have a pretty good idea of how he worked, though, and he seemed reasonable enough.

And Tambrey...he'd have to ask her what she knew of Nakura later, too. Seemed like the guy really got around the base. Something really didn't sit right with Shadow about Nakura. "Yeah...nice. He said I owed him a favor, though," he laughed.

The Spiritomb was happy that both Tambrey and Xander recognized her, as well as accepted her friendily enough. She was a little afraid they might have resented her for her trainer's somewhat odd ways of dealing with them, but thankfully they seemed to know she shared none of his strange intentions toward them. Grateful to be among friends, she went back to doing her job of guarding them.

The teen's brows furrowed at Lore's commands. He gestured to Celty when she glanced at him questioningly, allowing her to do whatever she felt she needed to. But he, himself, walked up to the executive. "Sir...with all due respect...did I correctly hear you before saying that you could rewire the sensors and pick locks? ...Does that mean we're doing all this just 'cause?"

Not that it didn't make things more interesting, but it was less convenient, more dangerous, and more nerve-wracking for them all. What was wrong with taking the path of least resistance every once in a while when they could? Especially when performing delicate operations like this?

Meanwhile, Celty did her best to aid Bro and Trick, though, like Trick, she lacked any limbs to do so. Still, her ghostly powers seemed to be helpful enough, and she pulled along with the other two.

He did not like the sound of that. He did not like the sound of that at all. If he was perfectly honest, this whole quiet shadowy museum was beginning to give him the creeps. Aulus shivered and then muttered; "Bloody cold in here," so that nobody would thing it was because he was perturbed. Dark creepy museum, mysterious sensor thingie that didn't seem to be bringing anyone down on their heads. Aulus glanced up at the ceiling just in case there was... well he didn't know, in case there was a something.

"Well," Aulus rubbed the back of his neck in order to relieve prickles. "Invisible ghosts? Invisible Zoroark? How long does an illusion last, could it leave one of the plate for a while? If you were aiming for something a bit more comedic I bet my Spinerack could snag it with a web and bungie cord it over here."

Now there was a change of situation and Asch scowled as it was made apparent that they had tripped a well hidden sensor. Dammit. He should have noticed that. The next option was just to grab the plate and leave quickly.

The agent was about to speak until Aulus' questions caught his attention. "Its not so much a matter of time, but of distance. It could last until we left the building."

Xander held the cigarette for Bro even though he was tempted to stomp it out. Instead he watched the two ghosts work together to disable the sensors. "Hmm, more then likely he was glad you were taking the twins for a while. He gets along with Celty better." He told Shawn. "And yeah, I'm Xander and we're talking about the same guy. Iza is just a nickname I have for him."

Uh oh. Xander turned his attention to Lore and his two pokemon when they found another sensor. This long and no one has come? He had a bad feeling about this. The central chamber was quiet though and not swarmed with guards or police and that made him tense, putting his hand near his pokeballs as he looked around. "If anyone has a psychic type then we could use them to get the tablet too." He said to Lore in case Aulus' idea was shot down.

"Right," Aulus nodded, "so have him go Indianna it, swap the real one for an illusion and invisible the real one?... Wait..." he turned to Hayes, "think there'll be pressure sensors on the pedestal?" If he was going to check the ceiling for monsters he certainly wasn't going to forget about swapping treasure for crap and the trouble that could be caused by carelessness.
