I'm sorry people are jealous of me, but I can't help that I'm popular. The rest of class was boring, just filler from then until lunch, when Makalia and her friends could talk freely. Band was alright, they had gotten some new music, but it wasn't very good. The teen took extra time in packing up her piccolo, which made late arriving to lunch. "'Loha, Rei, Jaxx. I got a little sidetracked in band, sorry." The usual acknowledgement of her friends, plus an apology for her lateness, made up her greeting. Makalia meticulously laid out her lunch. It was traditional Hawaiian fare, a plate lunch. Two scoops of white rice, a serving of macaroni salad, and loco moco (a hamburger with fried egg). Lynn made a small smile. "She's been okay. A bit sick, but okay," she said, then stuck the spoon of soup in her mouth. After swallowing, she put her spoon in for more, but ended up freezing momentarily. The spoon was left in the thermos, hand releasing the spoon. Lynn's face grew into a thoughtful one.
"Why do you waste your time on that boy?" she said quietly, without looking at Abigail. It was mostly her thinking out loud -- but it would have had to come up at some point. The way Abigail was acting now wasn't.. Abigail. That's not who she was. She was always the fun, smart girl. The one that anyone could make weird nerdy-jokes to, and would understand them, and probably laugh. Like that morning, with the dragon. The boy she's blindly falling for acts like a jerk, and completely ignores her very existence. Absent-mindedly, Lynn's fingernails began to scratch the table before both hands were gripping the edge. She didn't like the fact that this boy was changing everything about her best friend. In fact, if it was known that Lynn wouldn't get jumped afterwards, she would have kicked his a** herself. She was strong enough. Just.. Not enough to take on seven or eight people on her own. ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇

Leonardo twitched his nose briefly when what he said was ignored, but shrugged it off. "Girls," he thought to himself, shaking his head with a smirk. He finished his part of the drawing, but next he knew, the bell rang, and he was sent to his next class. He, well, ended up sleeping through that one. It was a spare, anyway. Not much really happens in those. Although, he could have just did his math homework. Too late for that.
The sound of a bell is what really woke him up. Bloody things, ruining his rest. With a sigh, he stood from the table in the library, and made his way to his locker. He practically shoved his backpack inside, and removed his lunch, closed it, and walked into the cafeteria. He walked to the usual table, realizing that almost everyone was there already. He smirked again, casually sitting next to Makalia. "Well hey there little lady," he said with a sly smirk, taking out his own lunch. He waited for a remark of some kind, already chuckling a bit. Just to fit in.  "It's fine, Mikalia." She stated, happy that she came. To be honest, the silence between her and the guy she loves became awkward. She smiled at her friend and handed her a cookie. Whether she had good food or not, she always gave her friends cookies. Her food was almost gone - not that she had much to start with anyways. That's when Leo came. She smiled and gave him a cookie. "All my food is gone~ my mom gave me another tuna sandwich. She knows I hate them." She sighed, shaking her head as she took another bite of her own cookie. You can't be to fat,

Makalia waltzed in with her traditional Hawaiian food and he sighed, sometimes this whole cavalcade of events was a bit too much. Perhaps he had an epiphany of sorts? He shook his head discreetly, he didn't really want anyone to ask why. His eyesight was diverted to Abigail. Strange girl she was, a smart, yet elegantly lean figure. If he wasn't in the position he was he might have had a chance to spend some more time with her, but of course Rei was nearby, and she enjoyed attention like Hitler enjoyed his speeches. A frown appeared on his face as Leonardo came in, this lunch period was obviously going to be a quiet one if not Leonardo constantly flirting to Makalia who constantly rejected him and Rei just doing nothing unusual. This was his life. His normal, yet very boring life. "Rei..." he began to say but cut himself short. "Eh...nevermind." Would it be alright if he sat with a different group? Would she get jealous and obsessive again? Boy, she was fairly bland today. Maybe her mom made her a bit pissy, but who was at fault? Her mother...or her? Jaxx contemplated how events would go for Rei in her own house, her mother asking her of chores and various necessities. Would she accept them or act offended and rush off exclaiming that she wasn't the cleaning lady of the household. Jaxx bit his tongue to keep himself occupied, eventually leaving a deep mark when he was finished. The question was, would he actually bite his tongue to blood? Oh, fourth period...fourth period wasn't always fun. Oh, that's right...Rei had his homework. Shyly he tapped Rei on the shoulder "Rei, when're you going to hand me back the assignment you snagged form me this morning? Did you stuff it in my locker?"❝But with the world comes many consequences. Oh Pandora, Pandora.❞

Just to fit in. She looked at Jaxx when he first said her name, and sighed, but still glanced at him every now and then. What was going on? She let a frown grow on her face. When she felt the tap and heard her name, she looked at Jaxx, smiling. "Yeah." She said, grabbing her backpack and scavenging thoruhg it to get the piece of paper she was looking for. She found it after a second and handed the paper back to him. It had no marks or anything on it, so it was clean. "I copied it in I think second period. I can't remember."You can't be to fat,

Leonardo tilted his head when he was given a cookie, but smiled. "Thank you, Rei," he said before looking at Jexx. He didn't seem like.. Well, himself. Leon frowned in thought, nibbled on the cookie and looked between the two lovebirds uncertainly. This was rather odd. They shared a short conversation regarding the homework Jexx had let Rei borrow earlier, and Jexx muttered a thank you when it was returned. Whatever was happening between them, it seemed as though Jexx was unhappy with something. There was some tension in the air.
His eyes averted to Makalia for a brief moment, hoping she would say something, but then back to Jexx. He rose a single eyebrow, tilting his head ever so slightly, and the rest of his face showed concern. It was as though he was asking if everything was alright. Hopefully it was. Jaxx smiled weakly and tried to show that he was mildly alright, he gave a fake smile and turned his head away quickly. He sighed in deeply and began biting his fingernails, a bad habit he had hoped to end at the start of this year, but ultimately failed. He stopped biting and pulled out another stick of gum and chewed it lethargically and slid one across to Leonardo without much hesitation. Giving another sigh Jaxx propped his elbows on the table and supported his head on his palms and gazed into space, unintentionally staring at Abigail. He was thinking about his life, how he gave such a perfect show to everyone, even his girlfriend didn't know what was going on in his head most times unless he expressed it blatantly for her. Did she ever care about his life outside school and his persona affairs when not with her? He didn't think so.❝But with the world comes many consequences. Oh Pandora, Pandora.❞

Just to fit in. She looked at him once more and sighed, shaking her head slightly. "I'm... going to go.." She said, almost uncertainly. Maybe he wants to be alone... she thought, again very uncertainly, and it didn't take a rocket scientist to see both the sadness and uncertainty on her face, but she plastered on a smile "I'll see you guys later!" She said, walking away. And, like she did when she was nervous, she draped her arms over her stomach as she walked away. She looked around to see one or two people looking at her,but they had quickly looked away. She sighed, and went to her locker, pulling out, and putting a few things away as she texted her mother, who had deliberately texted her during her class. Nevermind, Mom. It was just something about homework, but Jaxx helped me....She waited few seconds, tapping her phone, before her mother texted back her least favorite reply 'K. be good. Tell Jaxx I said hi' She didn't need to reply to that. Her mother knew she would. But, she sighed aloud. It was obvious to her that he was staring at Abigail. She felt a ping of jealousy at that, but she remembered what she had said before Mikalia and Leo came.. And she sighed again. You can't be to fat,

He got up from the table, waved a quick goodbye to Leonardo and Makalia and hurried after Rei. When he finally caught up to her he exhaled deeply, the sudden awkwardness setting in. "Why'd you leave like that Rei?" He asked solemnly, not looking her in the eyes, but rather at the wall next to them. He sighed heavily and placed his hand at the back of his head and chewed at his gum. "Is something wrong Rei?" He asked again. ❝But with the world comes many consequences. Oh Pandora, Pandora.❞
