Lucifer Looked to the gentleman and seeing the other man, He knew this one, but couldn't think of the name, Lucifer has been out of hell for such a long time. He had left hell because of his father to get away from him completely. The other man's eyes had shifted color, He lifted his eyebrow and saw the demeanor seemed off putting, He knew that was a sign of some sort of demonic powers, but alas he didn't see any use in humoring the gentleman with anger issues, he seemed to just love the idea of being angry anyway. Lucifer pondered over the whole predicament and scratches his head lightly. He looked down at the girl since he sadly had kind of left her in this kind of lurch. He touched her shoulders lightly and smiled to the Male "Sir, if you don't mind you are scaring the young lady here, and if the alchohal is weak, i just need a shadow and i know where to get some nice strong drinks, then we can all sit and enjoy a calm conversation and we can explore any problems you might be having" He chuckles lightly "but sadly I do not have any sort of authority around here but surely we could find someone to talk calmly to and maybe figure something out about your situation with your room." Lucifer stared right at the man in fount of him then shifted his own eye color so that only the man in front of him saw that they went from normal straight to a depth of black that people thought only his father could produce, and then back again. "wouldn't you think that would be a good idea?"

Never say that you think you've been through it all, Never say that you think you've seen it all, Never say that life can't get any worse Lucian Slade Lucian gave an annoyed sighed, rolling his eyes as Tajmina started backing away from him, putting her hands up in front of her and bumping into him. Muttering something in a language that sounded like a bunch of jumble to Lucian. She thought that was bad? And to think, Lucian hadn't even let his full temper loose yet. He snorted at the thought. Looking past the girl, he glared at Lucifer when he had the nerve to actually speak directly to him. Obviously the boy was an idiot, Lucian thought.
He almost laughed at the boy when he had his eyes change color, if he thought that would faze Lucian in the slightest, he was sadly mistaken. Instead, Lucian let his own eyes darken even farther, and let the pupils change to a blood red color to add to the pitch black. "The girl, I have no problem with." Yet, he silently added. If she was best buds with Lucifer, then that would change. "You, however, are the one that I have a problem with. So what I think would be a 'good idea' is for you to keep your ugly face as far away from me as possible. Unless, of course, you'd like to have your a** kicked back to visit your dear old daddy," Lucian hissed.
He glanced back towards Tajmina and smirked at her. "You need to toughen up, girl. Showing weakness won't get you anywhere." Lucian shrugged. "And you might want to ask your little buddy there who his father is before you go getting too close to him," he added. If it came across as Lucian trying to 'warn' Tajmina who the other man really was. . . well, that wasn't what Lucian was up to. No, Lucian was just trying to give Lucifer as much trouble as possible, including trying to make Tajmina not trust him.
OOC: Oh, Lucian. . . what am I going to do with you? Lol. =PBecause just when you think, There's nothing left that can hurt you, You find out that, You haven't even begun to experience, What true Hell can be

Never say that you think you've been through it all, Never say that you think you've seen it all, Never say that life can't get any worse Lucian Slade Lucian rolled his eyes, growling again as Tajmina took off running out of the bar. Great. Just. Freaking. Great. That was all he needed. A girl running from him everytime she saw him, acting like he was going to rip her to shreds or something. It was drama Lucian really didn't care to deal with. Turning his still black and red eyes back towards Lucifer, he snarled his nose at the other man as he stood up.
"If you ever come anywhere near me again, you will seriously regret it. Just like your father did that last time I saw him," Lucian smirked. Then with that, Lucian dismissed the man, turning and storming out of the den and bar.
He caught just a glimpse of Tajmina disappearing up the stairs leading to the Pet Annex. Grumbling under his breath, Lucian decided that he'd wait and give the girl time to calm down. Then he'd go find her, and explain that it was Lucifer he had the problem with. It wasn't like it was her he was angry at. Even though Lucian really didn't care what the girl thought of him, he decided he'd tell her that just so that he didn't have to deal with her running out of the room everytime she saw that. That would get annoying after awhile.
That decided, Lucian headed off down the hallway.
Because just when you think, There's nothing left that can hurt you, You find out that, You haven't even begun to experience, What true Hell can be

Lucifer blinks as he watches everyone leave him. He looks at the ground unable to get away from his father's horrible reputation. He crosses his arms and leans against the bar looking at the ground he shook his head and cursed himself for ever wanting to be different from his father. Lucifer made his way to a dark corner, pushing his hand into the shadows and pulled out a bottle of well aged scotch. Lucifer then sat down in a corner and brewed in his own uselessness unable to think of a way to change how people see him, his grip tightened too much on the hard glass; it shattered in his fingers. Lucifer blinked and sighed softly muttering to himself "can't anything go right?" He moved his hand back to the shadow and picked out another one then lifted his hand "can i get a glass?" The Barkeep then pulled out a glass and set it on the table. Lucifer looked up "just toss it here" The barkeep worried seeing the shattered glass, he tossed the glass over and Lucifer caught it, pouring himself a drink and chugging the first two, then took his time with the next one. Lucifer looked at the area watching people pass.

How can you see into my eyes like open doors? Leading you down into my core where I've became so numb Without a soul my spirit's sleeping somewhere cold Until you find it there and lead it back home ~Phoenix Blackmoor~ Wake me up Wake me up inside I can't wake up Wake me up inside Save me Call my name and save me from the dark Wake me up Bid my blood to run I can't wake up Before I come undone Save me Save me from the nothing I've become After leaving the foyer, Phoenix walked for a few moments, and before she knew it; she found herself in front of the den and bar. Pursing her lips, she paused there for a moment. Normally, Phoenix was not a big drinker. In fact, she really only drank alcohol maybe once a century or so. But, she was getting a headache from trying to figure out what the little scene in the foyer was about, and realized she could use a drink. Walking in, Phoenix looked around for a moment. There were a few people there, but she spotted one that looked familiar. The man she'd ran into in the kitchen, and then showed where the bar was.
Phoenix paused for a moment, then shrugged. She walked over to the bar. "Can I get something to drink? I don't care what, as long as it's strong," she said. The bartender nodded his head and disappeared, coming back a moment later with a glass. After taking a drink of it, Phoenix walked over and plopped down into the chair beside Lucifer, just in time to hear him muttering to himself about something.
"You know, sometimes I seriously do not get people," Phoenix said. Phoenix had never been one to be shy, after all. So she didn't hesitate just jumping straight into talking. What was the point? If he wanted to be left alone, he could just say so. "I mean, you try to be nice. A little helpful. And find yourself in the middle of. . . some weird stare down. That ends with both parties heading off in opposite direction, and me left with a headache wondering what the hell I just missed," she grumbled. Taking another drink, she looked back to Lucifer and shrugged. "Sorry. Just venting. Want me to leave?" she asked.
Now that I know what I'm without You can't just leave me Breath into me and make me real bring me to life Bring me to life I've been living a lie, there's nothing inside Bring me to life Frozen inside without your touch Without your love, darling Only you are the life among the dead

Lucifer looks to the girl, what was her name, oh yeah, the Legendary fire bird, Pheonix. Just because he was in a bad mood he didn't have to make someone else pay for it. He takes a drink of the alcohol he had and smiles lightly to her "I know what you mean, but three people walking off and leaving one person alone in a rut to keep him wallowing in his own useless existence." he motioned "thanks for pointing me here in the first place" motions to the she was already in. Lucifer just smiles lightly to her. Lucifer leaned back and realized he still had the scotch all over the table, he leaned back pressing his hand into the shadow pulling out a damp towel, cleaning up the table, and shifting his hand back to the shadows with the towel having it come out without it. "so whats on your mind?"

"Sounds like you're having the same kind of night I am," she said with a snort. She looked away for a moment, towards the rest of the bar. There seemed to be some nice people there, but apparently she had bad either timing, or bad judgement of people. She wasn't sure yet which one. Then she glanced back towards Lucifer when he thanked her for showing him where the bar was. "No prob," she said with a shrug of her shoulders.
She watched for a moment as Lucifer washed the table off, with a towel he'd made appear from the shadows. Interesting, Phoenix had seen a few people with shadow power, but not too many. She'd always been a little curious how that worked. But what she found herself more curious about was how the mess got on the table to begin with. At his question of what was on her mind, Phoenix let out a slightly sarcastic laugh. "Well, I was thinking about finding two certain guys and clanking their heads together," she grumbled. "And beyond that, I'll spare you the gory details," she added, more joking than anything with that part. It wasn't exactly that she was angry at the two men from the foyer, it was more frustrating. Phoenix hated to be left out of the loop, and she was still trying to figure out what she had missed.
She gave a dismissive gesture with her hand. "Eh, it's nothing. Venting done," she said, with a grin. With that, Phoenix straightened in her chair. "So uh, just an accident or did I miss something?" she asked, gesturing her hand towards the table where the mess had been. She was curious if it had anything to do with the comment he'd made earlier, but she decided to see if it was just an accident first or not.

Lucifer took a second to think about what he should say, but then just gave up on giving out pathetic excuses and just gave it straight. He lifted up the hard scotch filled container that was in good condition, "I crushed one of these out of anger towards my father and such..." He motioned to the bar where he had been moments before, "I found myself still unable to cope with the whole business of what and who my father is, people think its easy, and just because I am his son it should mean that I am no better then him." Lucifer shrugged his shoulders lightly and shook his head taking a drink of the glass in his other hand, "I came here to basically relax and let my wings rest for a while, but it is hard to do that without company and only with people judging me by who I am related to." He laughed a bit and looked at the scotch, "Heck, only reason I drink the stuff is because it reminds me that I do exist, but sadly it does nothing to me." chuckles. "that's about all you missed."

Trying to decide what to say. He'd said something about his father, and Phoenix wondered who his father was. His name was Lucifer. . . but did that mean that he was the son of the real Lucifer? Phoenix wasn't sure, she'd never met the real Lucifer, so she didn't even know if he had a son. Actually, Phoenix had always been a bit curious if Lucifer even really existed. She had guessed he did, after all, if other unique beings she'd seen could exist, why not the devil? But still, even if she believed the real Lucifer existed, it didn't answer her question of if the man sitting across from her was actually his son. Phoenix decided not to ask right now, since it seemed to be a touchy subject.
After a moment passed, Phoenix leaned forward, placing her hands on the table. "Well, you have company now. I'm here," she said, giving him a quick smile. "And I'm not judging you." Phoenix shrugged. "To me, it doesn't matter who you're related to. You can't chose your parents, after all. Why should you be to blame for them?" Phoenix shrugged. "I wish you could chose your parents, how cool would that be?" she asked with a light chuckle. Sighing and going a bit more serious, "As far as I'm concerned, all that matters is the type of person you are. Not your species, where you're from, or who your family is," she said, shrugging.
Phoenix looked back to him. "Whoever judges you because of who you're related to, they're just an a** and not worth being around anyway," she said. Without thinking about it, Phoenix reached over and put her hand on top of his. "Hey, if you want to give me a name, I can always go kick their butt," she joked, trying to lighten the mood, and chuckled.

~Raven~
Company:
After leaving the Pet Annex, Raven made her way through the castle, without having any real direction of where she was aiming. mostly she was just waiting for something interesting to catch her eye. The thing that finally caught her attention turned out to be a a bar. Well, a den and bar, to be more precise. Raven paused at the door, pursing her lips as she tried to decide if she wanted to go in or not. Then gave a lazy shrug of her shoulders. "Why not?" she muttered to herself. She'd had a long journey there, and she could use a nice hard drink. She had hoped to find a pet fairly quickly, but she could continue her search later on.
Walking in, Raven went over to the bar. "What can I get you?" the bartender asked.
"Anything good. And strong," Raven answered. She watched as the bartender nodded his head, and then disappeared for a moment. When the bartender came back, Raven thanked him and took a drink. The drink was pretty good, Raven would have preferred a little stronger, but it was probably best she stuck with something more mild, so she'd have a clear head in case she came across a pet that she liked. So she'd be thinking clearly when she decided to ask them if they wanted to be hers or not. Raven wouldn't pick just anyone, after all. She was picky when it came to things like that, even if she was nice to pets in general, that didn't mean she wanted just anyone with her. She had certain requirements for them. Nothing unreasonable, but requirements nonetheless.
Turning away from the bar, Raven made her way across the room, picking a table in the back and sitting down. She took another drink, then ran her fingers lightly over the top of the glass as she watched those coming and gong from the room.
Frozen inside without your touch Without your love, darling Only you are the life among the dead All this time I can't believe I couldn't see Kept in the dark but you were there in front of me I’ve been sleeping a thousand years it seems Got to open my eyes to everything Without a thought, without a voice, without a soul Don't let me die here There must be something more Bring me to life

Lucifer saw the look in her eyes showing that she was curious about his family, he saw that she also dropped it afterwards and tried to calm him down. Lucifer smiled lightly nodding a bit, "violence isn't the answer anyway, i've lived deep in it in my life anyway." Lucifer then looked off to the side seeing the new girl walking in, he smiles lightly to Phoenix and took another drink, "Though it is true that people can and will be angry at whatever they want and sometimes without reason, I think this gentleman I ran into had a reason." He leaned back in his chair and shrugs giving up on keeping it a secret since there was already a man running around with it already in his head; it could lead to someone asking why he was so angry at Lucifer. "You see," he started taking a small breath, "my father is the original Lucifer, but he prefers the title 'the devil' and he gave me the name of Lucifer to spite the one who threw him from Heaven, I am just merely an unlucky spawn of the devil." He smiles lightly looking to see her reaction, but then added, "So earlier when I said I met the origin of your name-sake, I truly meant the original Phoenix."

How can you see into my eyes like open doors? For the most part she agreed, but occasionally it couldn't be avoided. Phoenix was usually able to annoy people just with her sarcasm and they gave up on trying to intimidate her. It was only when they tried to bully her that Phoenix ended up fighting them. And really, who wouldn't? Phoenix could only think of a few people that she knew that would let someone bully them and get away with it, and she just wasn't one of them.
She snapped out of her thoughts, raising an eyebrow curiously when Lucifer said that while people will be angry without reason, that he thought this guy that apparently had been angry at him, had had a reason. It made her wonder what the man's reason might have been. But since he wasn't even there anymore, it wasn't like she could try to figure it out, so she decided not to dwell on wondering why. Either she'd eventually see the man herself, and could possibly get an idea of what his problem was, or she wouldn't. She'd just have to wait and see.
When Lucifer went on to explain that he was, indeed, the son of the real Lucifer, AKA the devil, Phoenix nodded her head. More to herself than Lucifer. So, her guess had been right then on who he was. It also answered the question of if the real Lucifer actually existed or not. Well, there was two answered questions. Before Phoenix had a chance to say anything about what Lucifer had told her, he brought up something from their previous conversation, about the original Phoenix. This caused Phoenix to chuckle. "I knew what you meant," she said, giving a light shrug of her shoulders.
"As for who your father is," she continued. "Well, like I said, you can't choose who your parents are. And, I think the fact that you're here, and not uh- down there, with him, tells a lot about you," she said, shrugging again. "So, even knowing who your father is, my opinion of you is still the same." Phoenix looked away and went quiet for a moment, looking at the pink haired girl that had just came in and picked a table across the room.
"There was a saying I heard once; 'All light doesn't equal good, and all darkness doesn't equal evil'. I think it's very true," she said. Looking back to him, she grinned. "See, you might be the son of Lucifer. But you seem like a pretty nice guy to me. But once-" Phoenix paused, leaning forward a little and lowering her voice. "Once, a long time, I met a girl that was the daughter of an angel. Now, you'd think that a daughter of an angel would be someone good." Phoenix chuckled and shook her head. "This girl was the meanest girl I've ever met, and I've met a lot of mean people before. I even saw her make a few grown men cry," Phoenix said with a chuckle. "Just goes to show that you can't judge a person by their species or family," she added with a shrug.

Lucifer Blinks and watched her, He chuckles lightly hearing her talk about the angels and such, good and evil all this such things he smiles warmly to her and placed down the glass and leaned back, "It is so true though, I have met the Arch Angel Michael and let me just say; he is one of the biggest asses in the whole universe." Shrugs lightly and smiles to her nodding hearing what she had to say he lifted his hands up and cracked his back fully letting his spine realign as it saw fit. "i am just glad to be sitting, my back was killing me all the way here," he shook his head "if any angel tells you it is exhilarating to have wings and fly they are liars its hard to keep your legs straight enough to make your spine keep it's shape. Birds have it easy though," Puts his arms straight out "being their wings are here, which brings me to a question." He motions to her, "Your name is Phoenix, and you have an undertone smell of burnt, well anything really, am i just making something out of nothing, or are you truly one of the legendary birds?"

How can you see into my eyes like open doors? Leading you down into my core where I've became so numb Without a soul my spirit's sleeping somewhere cold Until you find it there and lead it back home ~Phoenix Blackmoor~ Wake me up Wake me up inside I can't wake up Wake me up inside Save me Call my name and save me from the dark Wake me up Bid my blood to run I can't wake up Before I come undone Save me Save me from the nothing I've become Phoenix chuckled when Lucifer said that he'd met the Archangel Michael, and that he was an a**. Well, one of the biggest ones, to be more precise. "Well, there ya go then," she said with a light shrug of her shoulders. Sometimes, Phoenix wished she had thought to try to get some kind of proof on how horrible some people were that were suppose to be good because of their species. Just so that she could show it to someone that tried to stereotype people. Phoenix hated stereotypes. So many people just assumed stuff without getting to know the person first. And usually most of them were total hypocrites anyway.
Phoenix held back a smile at Lucifer's comment about how it was harder for angels to fly somewhere, and that birds had it easy. Instead she took a sip of her drink and then ran her fingers over the mouth piece of it. Mostly because of the irony in his comment, but she wasn't quite sure if she wanted to say anything on it or not. Before she had a chance to really decide, Lucifer spoke again. Pointing out her name, and mentioning something about an undertone of a burnt smell, Phoenix raised an eyebrow slightly at that. Well, there was something she hadn't heard used to describe her.
At his question, Phoenix took a moment to answer. Pursing her lips and tapping her fingers lightly on her glass. Mostly what Phoenix was trying to decide, was if she wanted to tell him the truth or not. Normally, Phoenix didn't just go around telling others what her species was. However, since Lucifer had told her who his father was, she decided that it would only be fair to tell him the truth. So, after a moment, Phoenix smiled and sat her glass down on the table. "That's sort of a trick question," she started with a light chuckle. "I'm not a real Phoenix, no. But I have met several, including the original. I chose Phoenix as my name because of them, and what they symbolize. I wanted a fresh start, and a name like Phoenix seemed perfect for that," she explained, shrugging her shoulders.
She paused for a moment, then grinned. "In case you're wondering where this burnt undertone you're talking about is coming from," she continued. "I'm part Chimera, and part Griffin. I've never been told that anyone noticed any sort of burnt undertone, but I suspect it comes from my Chimera side," she said.
Now that I know what I'm without You can't just leave me Breath into me and make me real bring me to life Bring me to life I've been living a lie, there's nothing inside Bring me to life Frozen inside without your touch Without your love, darling Only you are the life among the dead
