"Though I'm not much up for burying my nose in some dry history book either. Surely we can find something more interesting to do. I can jump on the desk and start screaming about a roach again. Maybe another one will appear," she teased. "Oh, by the way Veith. The way you saved me before, and tried to protect me from that thing was awfully chivalrous."
"I never would have expected it given how gruff you usually are, but you really are a bit of a softie, aren't you?"
Well, there was nothing else to do. Might as well play a round of 'pick on the grouch.'

"Veith, I'm hurt." Kasie teasingly laid a hand against her heart for the dramatic effect, fully knowing that Veith was serious but at the same time wasn't. Did that make sense? Well, in her head, it was. Of course, as she thought about what he said, she wanted to point out something because it seemed like 'Torture Veith Day.' "Wait! Does that mean you just granted me permission to hang out with you as much as I want if I don't phase through you? Awwwh, that's so sweet of you, Veith, and here I thought that you found me a nuisance."
"Suzu!" Kasie immediately chirped in return, enjoying the company of a chatterbox similar to herself. Yes, she was the perfect distraction from actually doing work like Veith suggested, but Suzu's idea was actually kind of fun to participate in. Silly old history was boring, but if it was about each other, then it could definitely be exciting. "General history is boring, but I think that's pretty cool to learn about each other. Of course, that's kind of stalkerish now that I think about it, but we're all friends here. If not, then be friends."

 Veith Nezariel Veith wasn't sure if it was because this class just happened to be full of women or the world was just against him. Can't women just have some quiet time without blah, blah, blah? He wanted to face palm as Suzume ranted about cultures and whatever. Then Angela said something about his chivalrous deeds in the English Classroom and accused him of being a softie. And Kasie got the impression that he OK'd her to hang out with him all the time.
Veith was very irritated as he moved his hand over his face as it started to heat up. Why was his face heating up anyways? If he could frown any deeper, then he did.
"Well if it's so educational, then go ahead and do as you please as long as you girls aren't bouncing all over the room." Veith snapped as he turned away from them.

Suzume would have missed the boy--Veith--blush if she had not seen his ears that went bright red. For a grouch that ought to live in a trash can, he was actually rather sweet! Suzume snorted.
"This is a class activity! If you don't participate, you get an F!" Suzume laughed as she tugged on his cloak.
Suzume turned her attention away from Veith to Kasie. "Well, cultures are part of history and I know quite a lot of traditional dances since I used to be a part of a traveling entertainment troupe! And I'm sure everyone else has something interesting to share, right?" Suzume pointed out.If it's not any fun, then why bother?" '

Angela snickered. Oh dear. Well this was quite fun. "Aw, Veith, did I embarrass you? I didn't mean to. I was just touched by your chivalry. Saving the damsel in distress and all that. I mean, hey, I'm a princess...you know, technically...that just solidifies the whole knight in shining armor bit. Well, not that you have shining armor. But it was quite brave of you, you know."
"Since we're discussing cultures and all that, you know in my culture, it's absolutely demanded that we find a way to repay such deeds. With gifts, ballads and songs, a kiss. Oh! Should I write a ballad about it, do you think?"
well, she was mostly telling the truth, sort of. Seelies had such an archaic culture, all steeped in stupid, old fashioned traditions. But after seeing his face turn red, she kind of wanted to see if she could get the ears to go red next. Screw class. Teasing Veith was much more fun. ((She's evil))

It was hilarious that everyone was tormenting Veith. Well, that's what the grouch deserved for being well... grouchy! "Veeeiiii~th, lighten up! The more you sulk, the more we're going to bug you, so turn that frown upside-down! If not, then we shall annoy you even more with um... ballads and kisses and stuff!" Kasie grinned, probably making him even more cranky by saying that.
"Wow, I'm definitely beat when it comes to history. You two sure do have a lot on your plate. I don't have much to say when it comes to interesting though." Kasie pondered when she heard about Suzu and Angela's cultures. There really wasn't anything exceptional with her life. She mainly spent most of her days away in school. Lame. "If you count being dead as my history to share, then sure, I can go with that."

Veith will gladly take the F. He never cared for history anyways.
"Well in my culture, you don't need to show any gratitude." Veith said as he slid back, got up, and backed away from Angela. "You were just in the way of my fire so I had to get you out of the way. Otherwise, I wouldn't have done anything."
Well, that was a lie, but they didn't need to know that.
Veith turned to Kasie. "And I don't want it from you too. Listen, this is a history class. It's supposed to be boring or whatever." Veith knew that was a lame excuse, but he had no way of fending off these girls since he's never had to do such a thing before.

Alec watched from the sidelines over the top of his book as Angela and a few other girls teased a young man. He was kind of glad at the moment that he wasn't garnering all that much attention and went back to his work. He still couldn't muster up the courage to speak to Angela after the incident. It made him nervous to think about, though he licked his lips unconsciously.
He was sad that he couldn't take as many courses at the moment. He wanted to focus on non-magic related ones, as at the moment, none seemed to pertain to helping seal off his powers. He hoped to eventually talk to the faculty about it, but right now wouldn't work.
Also, were all the girls this crazy here? This was a work period? He frowned. Right, bring music next time or something...

Angela laughed slightly, standing as Veith moved away from her. She went to sit by Alec, only reaching up to flick Veith's nose. "If you weren't this much fun to tease, we'd all find something better to do with our time, Veith."
She slid into the desk in front of Alec, turning around so she could lean over his desk. "Hey...I sort of felt like I should apologize again for threatening you and such. I didn't realize your situation. Um...so yeah. Sorry and all that."

Alec had been busy reading when he heard the scrape of a chair. He glanced up, only to jump at the sudden close proximity of Angela. He quickly made sure his frames were as high up on his face as physically possible. A repeat in class would be a bad thing.
"No, it's fine. That's a perfectly reasonable reaction for... umm... well, kissing you." It had been rather passionate from what he was trying not to remember. It wasn't exactly a peck on the lips. "And, not to sound obnoxious or anything like that, I think my powers make it a bit hard for people to...struggle."
He coughed and looked away for a minute. "So really, it's fine. I deserved it. I should have warned you so you could have beaten me into submission before I got too crazy with you." He gave a weak, halfhearted laugh. "Actually, please don't beat me up."

"That is... a horrible excuse, Veith! I am so ashamed. I was so sure you'd have a better comeback than that." Kasie exclaimed, wagging a finger of disappointment at him. Wasn't it already obvious that history was boring? Plus, that had nothing to deal with teasing him! Of course, she left it to Suzu to add salt to his wound. Oooh, height was a nasty thing to use sometimes. Haha!
At the corner of her eyes, she frowned when she didn't notice another classmate of theirs. She had to drag him into their chatting. Now! "Oh! Hello there. Sorry that I didn't see you until now. I'm Kasie. What's yours? Am I interrupting your conversation because if I am, that's my bad." She beamed at the boy, feeling the need to bother him just as she did with everyone else in this room. What? Socializing made life fun, and if one didn't, then they'd end up like a certain lemon face around here.

Angela.Tremaine "It was just a kiss," Angela said. "And I've been snogged by worse." She grimaced, remembering that. "Much worse. It's not like it was a particularly unpleasant experience, if you follow me. I just wasn't expecting it. So it's alright. A little warning might have been nice but in the end, you aren't the only one with special circumstances here."
"There are vampires that struggle with not, you know, eating people here. And some weird boy that caught on fire in class the other day, a girl that just sort of spews flowers when she's upset. I glow in the dark when I feel...anything besides apathy. So, really. It's not like anyone is going to judge you."
"Well, there might be a few stupid ones, I can't deny. But for the most part, I don't think anyone is going to run away from you just because of your heritage." She laughed a bit, flushing. "I'm not going to beat you up. I wouldn't object to us being friends, you know." The truth was, she felt kind of bad for him. He was so self conscious about it and yes, she would have been mad (and had been mad) had anyone else done it, it was hard to stay upset at Alec when he was already beating himself up.

"I suppose they wouldn't judge me, no..." Alec shrugged. "I just don't want anyone to go through that kind of unwanted experience." He shrugged.
"F-friends?" He gawked at her, surprised for a moment or two. Eventually his eyes softened and he smiled. "Being friends sounds nice..."
Another female voice chimed in and Alec turned his head, surprised to see yet another girl beaming at him. "Um, Hi, Kasie, I'm Alec. I'm fairly certain you aren't interrupting anything too serious." He paused and glanced at Angela, just to make sure.

She felt like she wanted to just die Detention, everyone was going to laugh at her. She skidded to a halt in front of the door and pushed it open quietly.
