The grunt laughed at the prospect of this kid wanting a "fair fight." He wasn't going to let him know that he was just going to run away as soon as he was able to stand. The only problem was with that damned Metagross. "Yeah, I'll fight you, just free me of this damned Stun Spore!"

Andrew released his entire team when the grunt said that he was going to fight. "I want you guys to guard specific points so that this guy doesn't run away." Each member nodded and went off to different points, just waiting for the guy to try and run away.

The grunt realised what was happening as he stood up, shaking off the paralysis. He silently cursed Andrew for making sure that he wasn't going to be able to run away. No matter, if this guy wanted a fair fight, then he would do so, but in a dirty way. He reached down into his bat and brought up two Pokéballs, then released the Pokémon that were inside them. "Go, Meinfoo! Go, Woobat! The Meinfoo immediately started doing katas in preparation for the battle while the Woobat flew around blindly.

Marth finally made it to Violet City, a place where he can relax, knowing he could afford a camera. He walked casually into a store, looking at all the merchandise it had on display. He didn't want just any camera. He wanted one that could be used to spy with, but one that was able to withstand time and not break. He then found a camera that caught videos as well as as pictures, so he bought it, though it was expensive. Still, he needed one in case he caught a bad guy's plot or something and needed to report back to someone. It was unlikely he would use it to actually take pictures of the bad guys while hiding, but one could never tell.

He left the shop and decided that his pokemon should take a break and play at the pokepark, so that was his next destination.

Desert wasn't the biggest fan of traveling on boats. They usually made his stomach uneasy. Instead he preferred the feel of flying on the back of his Hydreigon. The big lug liked to be free for a minute, flying through the skies. This made his pokemon more calm, one of the many ways that Desert keeps this large dragon pokemon at ease. Desert himself loved the feeling of being in the air with all the other flying pokemon. Around him were plenty of Pelipers, Pidgeys, and even a Pidgeotto. They all seemed calm until Gengar came out of his pokeball and started to make faces at them. "Come on, that doesn't seem very nice now does it?" Before he could say anything else the bird pokemon started to attack Desert, Gengar, and Hydreigon. "Aggh see what did I tell you!" Gengar was trying to swat them away. Then Hydreigon got that angry look in its eye and started to charge a hyper beam. "Umm calm down big guy. Come on now lets think about this. I am still on your back." Hydreigon didn't listen and fired anyways injurying all the bird pokemon and almost throwing Desert off of its back. Desert looked sick to his stomach. "Let's just hurry to Veilstone city. My friend on team plasma said that they made a break through in the recent research."

As soon as Desert started to fly over Veilstone city he spotted a team plasma member and was about to go and fly down until another group found him. "Now what could they be after." He decided to look and see for himself. He watched the group of people basically stun the plasma member and try to beat him for information. Desert stayed out of sight from the group and continued to watch them. "Seems they are looking for legendaries. Funny, maybe they would be easier to fuse with." He continued to watch and it finally got to a point were one summoned all his pokemon to block the paths. The other two prepared to battle. Desert's head dropped a bit when the plasma member summoned the two small pokemon. "These grunts are too weak. I need to find my friend and fast." He decided to stay put and watch for a minute though. He wanted to get a good view of the other ones fighting style this way he could make a plan for a quick escape. "Hydreigon be ready to use Hyper beam just in case." The pokemon nodded and started to charge.

The Plasma grunt ordered his Meinfoo to use Jump Kick on the Lucario. Swoobat went into a dive-bomb to use Heart Stamp on the Gardevoir. The grunt reached down to push a button on one of his Pokéballs to release his Pidgeot. He jumped on the Pidgeot's back and flew away as fast as the Pidgeot could carry him. "So long, suckers!" he yelled as he threw down the Pokéballs that once held the two Pokémon that he had just summoned.

Fluerette watched the events unfold with a concerned look in her eyes. She knew it right from the start: the Team Plasma member would not play fair. As he set both of his Pokemon on Lucca and Vivian, he brought out a third and tried to make an air escape. But just then, someone intervened. A man, riding on the back of a fierce-looking Hydreigon. The man called out a Gengar, which looked too familiar to another she knew for Fluerette and Roserade's own liking, and it used a move on the thug and the Flying-type, causing them to go slack in mid-air. Fluerette gasped, but the man and his Hydreigon flew under them and caught them, then descended back to the ground.

Then Fluerette heard the man's next words. "Gengar, use Nightmare on the grunt."

With an evil cackle, the Gengar jumped into the thug's shadow, and he started writhing and crying out. Fluerette's eyes widened in recognization and horror, and she ran forward. Roserade stayed behind, only watching the situation with a grim look. Fluerette grabbed the man's arm and cried, "Please, don't do that to him! Tell Gengar to stop, please!" She had seen a move like that too many times. She never wanted to see it again.
