Angela.Tremaine Once outside, Angela started for the usual little grove of trees she liked, but halfway there she saw Jukka--apparently contemplating a flower bed. Wondering how his eye was doing, she smiled slightly and headed over to him quietly. She...had the strong urge to take a flying leap onto his back just to see what would happen, but immediateqly quashed the impulse and settled for sidling along side.
"They're quite lovely? Thinking of serenading them, are you?" she teased. Though she didn't think cat people...things. Er, whatever Jukka was, serenaded flowers. Fae did that sort of thing all the time though. They were weird that way.
Flowers, trees, standing stones...and any of their holy places. Even the moon or sky. Anything that was alive or had a spirit of its own.

Jukka Holkeri
Jukka blinked in surprise but smiled when he saw her. He then laughed at her joke, "Naw.... I kinda wanna lay in them though," he snickered, then continued walking with her, "What are you up to today? You don't have any studying to do or something?" He asked as he strolled along. He took a puff on his cigarette and stared straight ahead as they walked.

Angela.Tremaine "Not really," Angela replied. "What about you? You don't have something to study as opposed to taking cat naps in the flowers?"
"I've been kind of out of it lately. I suppose it's the change in climate or something. Either that, or just this whole...thing. I haven't really ever been in a school like this so it's a bit overwhelming."
As much as she hated to admit that. She didn't like to admit to any weakness but considering how weird she'd been feeling, that was the only explanation. "Um, how are you faring so far? With classes and such?"

Angela.Tremaine Angela let out an almost disturbingly girly squeal--especially considering who it was coming from. The usual sarcastic grin gave way to a girlish smile as she scooped up the nearest kitten and brought it to her face for kitty kisses.
"They're so active!" she said. "They already look so much better. I was actually just thinking of coming for a visit."
The other two kittens pawed at her feet, one of them contentedly knawing her boot laces while the other decided she looked enough like a tree that it should attempt to scale her. She dropped to her knees, letting them crawl over her lap. She continued to cuddle the little black one.
"I still need to find homes for these little fellows," she said sadly. It was going to be hard to let them go. She really wished she could keep at least one.

Angela.Tremaine "Well, it would be a shame if they ruined my boots," Angela said, reaching down to disentangle one of the kittens from her hair. "But I suppose I'll live. Considering your body doesn't look a day over thirteen, I can't imagine you are really that lacking in energy."
Though she had to admit Vivian didn't really have an energetic sort of personality. She didn't think the lack of energy was age related, so much as attitude related though. "Anyway, I'm sure we'll find someone. It's a shame I can't ship them home to my father, so they would be there when I go home."
Who knew what her father would do to the poor things. Probably turn them into tigers and train them to guard his house. Though the idea of her father being left to the tender mercies of three rambunctious kittens was sort of amusing. "Have you considered names for them?" she asked Vivian.

Angela.Tremaine "Rhia?" Angela asked, with a slight smirk. "Oh yes, that is a completely logical name that is entirely devoid of any imagination whatsoever. I say we name the white one Marshmallow and the black on Nicodemus. And the calico, Rhia. Of course."
"You know, Professor Sinclair, you make a rather lot of excuses about just about everything--usually blaming things on you great age. But sometimes it feels that's all they are. Excuses. It's almost as if you're afraid to feel anything anymore. Or maybe you've just convinced yourself that you've forgotten how to feel and be creative and all that..."
"I don't think you've forgotten as much as you say you have." She snuggled with her kitten again. "That's just my observation as someone who's probably little more than a child to someone of your vast age and experience, of course."

Angela.Tremaine Angela waved a hand dismissively. "I don't care about trivial things like race," she said. "My mother was Human, my father was Fae. So in any case, it's not like I have a race of my own. Besides, every species has its bad people and its good people."
"Everyone--no matter what race they are, we're all people, you know? For me, the only thing that really matters is if someone has a good heart. I mean, I've met a lot of people who were rotten inside. And it wasn't because they were Human, or Fae, or Vampire, or anything else. It was just because they were them."
"My mother was..." Angela trailed off, and took a breath, her expression going slightly sad. "My mother was a wonderful person. And she was Human. But then my uncle was horrible...and he was also Human. So I guess I just...can't really see that race matters all that much. As long as someone has compassion for other creatures, that's really all that matters."
She looked up at Vivian and gave her a wan smile. "I mean, in spite of all your boredom and struggles with emotion and laziness or whatever, you've still got a good enough heart to have compassion for helpless animals. so in spite of it all, I think you have to be, you know, a good person too. And all that." Ugh. Topic change. She didn't want to discuss all of this. It was just scraping over too much raw emotion. It was uncomfortable.
"Anyway, the school is sort of weird. There are lot of weird people. Most of them are okay I guess. I've met one or two irritating ones though..."

Angela.Tremaine "I'm not going to forget anyone," Angela said. "At the very least, I have to remember my uncle long enough to find him and beat his ugly face in. But then, I'm not sure my people are as prone to growing wear of life as people like you, right? Weren't you born mortal?"
She stood and brushed off her legs, glancing up when Vivian recounted the story of the fire elemental. "Really?" she asked. A slow, mischievous grin spread over her features. "Haha. I wonder if that's the same bloke I've met a few times. Tall, emo hair? Looks like he's trying to make a huge show of being tall, dark and mysterious? Because every time I've seen him, he's made a huge effort to show off the fact that he can use fire. He was even lighting things in fire on class instead of tossing them in the bin. Idiot." She shook her head, laughing a bit. "I'm glad to hear he was served. He needs to be taken down a peg or two, the a**."
"It's stupid to try to show off in a place like this. With so many races gathered, it's unlikely any of us have anything truly unique to offer. So what is even the point?" She glanced toward the school and sighed a bit. "Anyway, I think it's about time for second period. So I should head in. Maybe later, during our other study hour, I can come by to see the kittens again?'

~Pilot~ Pilot smiled up at Gray happily, "My name is Pilot! I dont have a home or a Mommy and Daddy..... the sheep are called Fluffy, Puffy, and Mr. Finklehopper!" She explained with much enthusiasm as she walked along beside him. "Where are we going?" She asked as she looked at the school. "Your not sending me away are you?"
