She bit down on her lower lip, wandering towards the school and looking around. This place was so big...and she was so small...but, after talking to her big brother she felt a little bit better about it all. Besides, maybe she'd make new friends here like she did other places.
She looked down to her notebook...at something called a schedule. Hmm...what room was she supposed to head to? This all seemed confusing...

Steal Sylas grinned and he reached out to get a couple of the treats for the little hanster, only to have the rodent start to run down his arm to get to them. He watched in surprise giggling a bit at the sight. The rodent was just too darned cute. He smiled and watched it eat, sitting on its back legs and holding the treat in its front paws. "I wonder if it has a name." ((Gomen! I was looking and looking, and I guess I missed it on the last page... O.o; I'm such a space case!)) Alida shook her head. She didn't know it's name, she'd never been able to get any of the other kids to pay attention to her long enough to ask them. And she was willing to admit that conversations with her depended on the other kids patience and reading ability. It probably did... She thought maybe they should go ask the teacher, and wrote a note and showed it to Sylas. The teacher would know... and she's just been sitting in her desk up there, not paying any attention to the class, so she can't be that busy. She pointed to where the teacher was sitting at her desk, reading a book of some sort.

The fair haired boy walked up to the school, through the hallways. It wasn't too hard to figure out where you were going, everything was numbered. Everything was boxed into its own little section.
"Its almost like the sohma estate.." he muttered to himself "Like a cage."
He paused noticing the girl, her hair was paler than his.. she seemed a bit wierd too. But she looked lost.. he slowly turned from his plotted course to the classroom and started to her, tucking his red baseball cap furthing onto his head covering his eyes.
'what if she hugs me..?' he questioned himself stopping dead in his tracks. He paused a moment then shook his head, he couldn't liv ein fear of being hugged. He'd just stop her if she tried to.. he'd just keep his distance.
He walke dup next to her, a good 4 feet still between them "Are you finding everything okay?" he smiled reassuringly, letting her know he was there to help.
Ofcourse, he noticed her almost see-through apperance and thought it a bit strange.. but he was strange himself. So he just ignored it.

Her eyes went wide as she looked up at the sound of a voice...almost looking like a poor little lost deer in headlights.
"I..." She mouthed before pulling out her notebook, scribbling rather quickly in her flowing, childlike script.
I think I'm lost... Don't know much about school. Would've been happier at home with mother.
She turned the book to show it to him, hoping that he could read her words. She definately didn't seem like she would hug him either...she was a bit wary about people trying to touch her anyways...worried that something would happen and they'd be frightened off.

He continued to smile reassuringly, taking a step foreward to read the writing. He nodded "Its okay to be lost. Let me see your schedule and I'll help you with it."
He was a bit of a braniac, higher IQ than most, but not too high. He was smart, not a genious. and coming from such a large family he could find he way around easier.
Like a rat in a maze he had learned how to find is way through large confusing places.
The fact she seemed about as willing to hug as he did reassured him, since turning into a rat when he was hugged wasn't exactly something most people would welcome with open arms he didn't want anyone to find out.
The last people that had seen that had their memories of him erased.
which is why he distances himself from people now.

She passed her schedule over to him...upside down, accidentally. Of course it would be hard to read that way, but she had it rightside right to begin with and she hadn't been paying that much attention to it.
She was very greatful for that extra bit of help though...amazed that people had been so nice so far. They weren't at all frightened by her appearances as she had thought that they would be. As a matter of fact, if she wore a baggy enough sweater along with a pair of pants and shoes they didn't even much notice that they could almost see through her skin.

he flipped it over, not really noticing her mistake "By the way my names Sohma, Yuki." ofcourse the lastname was first, as he had been taught to say it that way.
He glanced over the schedule, it wasn't all too bad. About the same as his. "All of your clases are in order. So you're going to this one first.. and you see this number next to it?" he pointed and showed her "Those are the class room numbers." he poitned to a random class room "See thats A-5, your first class is the same as mine in A-14"
He smiled and handed her the schedule back "So we'll just walk until we find A-14! Everything here is numbered and catagorized.. so once you get the hang of it its pretty easy to find yoru way around."
He started walking, making sure she would follow him. "Also the cafeterria is where you'll have lunch.. its in the middle of the school i think. If you have any more questions feel free to ask me."

She nodded as he spoke, showing that she understood him. All in all, she caught on rather quickly for a kid. A smile spread wide across her lips as she looked up to him, glad that she'd have someone nice to go along to the classroom with her.
Quickly, she pullde up her pen again, scribbling onto her notebook.
"Thank you! You have a nice name. My family calls me Ash."
After catching up with him, she pressed the notebook against his arm so that he could take it as they walked to read it...hoping that everyone else would be just as alright with the fact that she either couldn't or wouldn't talk.

Raving brought Kyou by the hand into the school. It was his first day in his new school wand he was terrified, especially because there were alot of girls in the school. On the other hand he wondered if his friend Tohru would be there. "Raving do I 'have' to go. Please Raving, please!" he asked giving one last plea but it failed "Come on Mister in you go" Raving said fixing his tie one more time and pushing him through the doors. Kyou looked around big eyed at all the people and more specifically at all the girls. He sighed and started to walk to the princinpals office but was soon lost. He looked around completely lost.

Yuki blinked taking the notebook with a smile and reading, before handing it back to her "Thanks, you have a nice name too."
He stopped outside the classroom, "here it is.. but we still have a few minutes before the class starts.."
he gave a thoughtful look "Would you like a soda?" he offered, looking a bit nervious now that he was unsure what to do.

Soda? She'd never had one of those before...but she'd heard about them from her older brother. Her mother liked drinking tea and hot cocoa and lots of other "comfort" stuff.
She nodded happily, smiling up to him once more before looking around the halls...notcing a boy that looked just as lost as she had minutes ago. Her eyes softened as she turned back to Yuki, pointing the boy out to him as well.

Kyou looked around looking like he was about to cry and stared around worridly. He stood around worridly afraid that class will start soon. He looked around trying to think of a way to help himself without asking help from anyone.

Yuki smiled before blinking and looking to where she was pointing, he frowned, really wanting to just ignor his cousin..
he looked back to her and sighed "He won't want help from me.." the boy shrugged before walking with her to kyou.
"Need any help, baka?" he glared a bit.. his question was more mockign than anythign else, just kinda forced out to be polite. Him and kyou had long ago become rivals, Yuki didn't see if as his fault, the cat just wanted to fight with him every time they were near eachother.
Thus he belived the boy was just stupid. Therefore the nickname.

She hadn't known that the two had a history...only that the boy seemed a bit distraught...and she knew that she hated feeling lost and alone. It was much better to be along with someone else, wasn't it?
She stuck her pen into her pouch, holding her notebook to her chest as she followed along beside him smiling. Her smile broadened as they approached the other boy as if trying to be reassuring.

Kyou sniffed fighing back his tears and standing up straing "No thank you baka nezumi" he said walking away to discover that he was definatly going th wrong way. He sighed and fought back the little dignity he had left. "um...yeah I'm kind of lost. I need to find the principles office" he said shoving his hands in his pockets and staring at the floor
