Avery was in the room he shared with Alida, though she tended to keep to herself insider her 'secret base'.

Avery himself had no interest in such things, and spent a lot of time in front of the mirror making sure his hair was just so. He didn't care a whole lot for clothes, but his appearance was important to him. He was glad that Rime wanted nice hair, too, because it meant she bought the best shampoos and conditioners.

He was staring at the set of clothes Rime had set out for him, and wondering if what she had told him was true.

Momma said that if I wear nice things, people will like the way I look...

Actually, what she had said was that 'unfortunately, on how they look, and anything out of the ordinary is not well liked. People will think you're strange, and you can't go out in public like that or you'll get in trouble. You don't have to wear much, if you really don't want to, but I would appreciate it if you could keep your clothes on, Avery, honey.'

Rime tended to talk to them like they were equals, until she absolutely had to take charge, and then she went into 'parental mode.'

"I don't want people to not like me... I guess shorts wouldn't be so bad..." and he walked over to the clothes, avoiding even touching anything but the pair of knit shorts with a drawstring. He put them on, and walked over to the mirror in the living room to examine how he looked.

"I don't think I look nicer... maybe other people will think so, though?" He had noticed that when he went without clothes, people tended to stay away from him, and they blushed a lot. Maybe Rime was sort of right.

He decided to go out and test this theory, and pushed open the door to the hallway after asking Rime, who insisted on coming with him.

Tree walks up to the front desk with Darwin walking next to her. "Hi. Can we have room eleven please?"

William blinked a little hearing her words, watching her etch from one side of the room to the next, not really knowing what to say - the elders up in heaven had said love was a wonderful thing to have but he just couldn't fit what he wanted to say into a sentance. Watching her pad over towards the window, he pushed himself away from the couch, to go follow her. He knew full well what the birds were...so he decided to give her a little lesson and tell her them all.

'In a few months time...we need to get things settled first; like for example what exactly she is going to do with the flat she used to own next to her sisters' Owyln half remarked, picking up a biscuit from the table, as he quickly devoured it within a few bites. Despite Sirenes sudden pick up of moods he still wasn't totally with it himself, his eyes still showing traces of sadness, but he kept a happy smile spead accross his face all the same. Owyln bend down though, petting Thistle, as the dog rolled onto its back for its stomach to be tickled he followed through with patting Thistle's brown furry stomach.

'that ones a pigion, theres a sparrow, and thats a seagull...we have a ren nesting over in that tree over there too, and theres baby black birds in the roof' William exclaimed happily, pointing out each bird in turn, seeming to have a sudden spark in his eyes as he described each bird in turn; telling her where each one lived, how to pick it out. Somehow he seemed to know an awful lot about these creatures and since she asked - he was willing to tell all he knew.

'about Birds? theres a lot to learn about nature out there, and whatever happens i'll try and know atleast some of it' William replied back to her with a smile, though his shoulders drouped seeing her lean suddenly against him with that sigh. He brought his grasp up, ever so gently wrapping his arms around her for support for the time being, rocking her slowly from one side to the next - just like his dad always used to do for him, and still did.

'I'm sorry, Sirene...we may be friends, but look at them...we can't let anything happen to their friendship, now please can you stay if not for yourself then for Yume?' Owyln questioned, his fingertip pointing back towards the kitchen door, before he finally let a true smile spread from ear to ear. The pair of the Banir kinder were safe, and were together in friendship, maybe the pairing between the two would be enough to save their own friendship...he hoped it would, he prayed it would, but only time would be able to unfold that answer.

'I know...i know there upset now..but itl blow over' William said, trying to sound incoraging, but even that showed up on his voice he didn't have total faith in the idea himself. His wings gave a light flutter against his back, his arms still wrapped loosly around her, still rocking her ever so gently from one side to the next.

Aqua creeps along behind her, being carefuly of dripping on the floor. After tensing for a moment, she pounces on Marfa's back. "Hello!" She giggles as they fall forwards.

Her sister, Sere, who is standing behind her just raises an eyebrow. Rolling her eyes and shaking her head, she strides past the pile of fur and solid water, muttering "I cant beleive I'm related to her..."

Niko was walking slowly behind Aqua and Sere, and she smiled when she heard Aqua pounce on Marfa. "Now now, Aqua, be careful... I dont want you or your friend getting hurt or something..." She frowns at Sere's comment, but doesnt say anything, just shaking her head.

"Wha- Ahh!" Sere looks behind her furiously, and kicks her legs, trying to get Marfa off. "Get off me me, filthy dog!" She squirms like a worm. ((LOL! love that comparison :3))

Aqua pounces on her sister, and sits on her, getting her sopping wet. "Bad Sere!! Dont insult my friend!" She pokes Sere in the stomach.

Niko has a face like sweatdrop What is it now...? Its times like these that I wish those bloody dark elves didnt steal my sight...

Sere has a face like o__O Then she shreiks loudly "GET AWAY FROM ME, CURSED MUTT!" She gives one more kick of her legs and slips backwards. "Ah!" And she skitters away quickly.

Niko sighs hopelessly as she hears the loud shreik, and she makes her way down to the lobby, figuring that Sere probably was getting what she deserved. ((XD supportive mum, aint I? :3))

Aqua attempts to swat at Sere's head, but she misses and makes a face. "Nyahh" she says as she sticks out her tongue

*gets kicked in the face*0.o *pounces on Seres back snarling and looks really like a cursed hound from hell because of her red hair and hen howls and bares her fangs* aaaaaooooooo!!!!! *and glares at Sere* no one dares call me a mutt!!
