Lillian felt distance, hardly aware that she was still alive. Is this what its like to die? She wondered as Shayla carried her to safety...

The she-fox opened her eyes slowly, the light so blinding that she immediately shut them. All was quiet. For a moment, she was afraid she really had died. But then, she heard a voice. It was male, and it held a strange growl at the very back that made her roll immediately to her feet. She wasn't in the Moon Kingdom!

Scythe had been close enough to Kingdom Borders to feel the ripple of power. He wondered, at first, if two entities might be fighting. Curious, he had snuck into the Moon Kingdom, just in time to see the power fading and a she-wolf carrying what looked to be dead carrion on her back toward what must have been the infirmary. Silently, he had followed the she-wolf and waited as a shadow in the room, until it had emptied. He looked at what the she-wolf had dropped off, noting that it was not carrion. It was a female fox. She smells of Earth Kingdom... But oddly.. Of Sunmoon, too.. Kala, the one who could scent better, noted. "Shall we take her?" Scythe whispered aloud, suddenly grinning.

The male wolf awaited no answer as he slid the she-fox onto his back and dissipated both into shadows. It didn't take him long to find his own territory again. Without thinking, Scythe took the injured fox straight to Sunmoon's core - the hidden grove that held Sunmoon's Crystal. "Hello?" He asked, nudging her with his paw as he gently slid her onto the ground...

Shiro couldn't think straight as he awoke in the forest. Last thing that was clear in his mind was the howl of Amaterasu, but that must have been awhile ago. He laid still in the grass to the wind, there had been a battle. Instantly he pushed his body up off the ground and ran with the wind. His feet lightly catapulted against the rising air currents as he soared at immeasurable speeds. Once he landed inside the kingdom, he followed the scents of blood. There was few he recognized, the one that came to his attention was Lillian's. He eventually had found the infirmary and entered, hoping to find Lillian there. "Is there someone named Lillian here, she had fought here recently." Shiro asked one of the people inside, answering with a shake of the head. He felt as if he had let both Lillian and Amaterasu down. 'Why did I pass out in the forest?' He asked himself as he walked out of the infirmary.

Rei nodded gently to her entity's orders. 'Leader of the war party, at least now I get to fight without holding back.' A devilish gleam was in her eyes as she awaited the moments of a full scale war to approach. She began to contemplate the strengths she had witnessed when she had bombarded a battle earlier. From her standards, nothing was worth the effort, all she wanted was to go berserk again. "I understand, Stolas, sir. Shall I prepare to organize the troops?" She asked, wanting to get out of the room as soon as possible. She always had felt a strong foreboding aura from him.

Scythe jumped back as the she-fox all but leapt to her paws. "Careful!" He yelped, one hind paw grazing the stone pedestal of the Crystal. He didn't have to tell her twice as he watched her collapse back to the ground. She still bled, and some of her wounds had re-opened themselves. "Don't worry, we've brought you home." He said, still keeping his distance...

Lillian was dazed and definitely not in her right mind as she stared groggily around the tiny clearing. She'd never been here before, but she sensed power like she had back in the Moon Kingdom's sacred chamber. She could feel her movement cause a few wounds to re-open and she forced back a yelp as she heard the stranger call out, "Careful!" Careful? The Guard Captain laughed to herself, the sound harsh in her ears. But she stopped as she heard the next words, "Don't worry, we've brought you home." Lillian's blood ran cold and she forced her vision to clear, confused that there was only one of them. But that didn't matter. She heaved herself back to her paws and her eyes caught the dark tunnel that lead up and out. She staggered toward it, but suddenly felt herself being grabbed and flung back. The creature was a wolf, and his features were twisted in sadistic rage. "You're not leaving." He growled in an echoing voice, one his own and one not. Lillian lay still, glaring at her captor and realizing she would be unable to get past him in her current state.

Shayla trotted down the corridor, when a messenger appeared, telling her she was to report to the prison cells. Biting her lip, Shayla went swiftly, paws thudding against the ground.

Lunaris led Leon to an empty cell within the palace's bowels. "You'll be staying here for the night so that you do not harm anyone else." she said quietly, but firmly. She held open the door, waiting for Leon to enter, before chaining his paws to the wall. "These are so that you do not harm yourself. I will know, Leon, and Shayla will be watching you." Lunaris told him as Shayla skidded to a stop in front of the cell. She seemed to have heard what the entity said, and nodded her head, an empty expression clouding her face.

Leon frowned but enter the cell. He laid down after he was chained, a sigh escaping him. Before lunaris left, the black symbols appeared on his head. The spell was trying to retake control of him. He whined and struggled but the chains kept him in place as the marks started to fade again. He looked up at lunaris and whined once in pain. He refused to meet shayla's eyes. Disgraced.

Lillian's eyes darted from one side of the room to another until the source of the power caught her attention. She lifted her head and stared at it, curious. When she had entered the Chamber in Moon, she hadn't even noticed the Crystal's presence, she had been far too busy attempting to protect the Entity. With a cautious glance in the wolf's direction, she pulled herself back to her paws and examined the strange crystal. She could feel his eyes on her, and sense his sudden tension, but she ignored it as she carefully poked the crystal with a paw. It let off a faint, blue spark, but the colors continued to swirl like indecisive clouds. She felt a little dizzy, but suddenly realized that the worst of her wounds were healed and her wounds had stopped bleeding. "Amazing." She breathed, standing still as she allowed her strength to come back to her. This will be my chance, then I will return to Amaterasu's side. Lillian froze, suddenly wondering how her Entity was doing. But another thought echoed in her mind as she stared, mesmerized, at the Crystal. "What Kingdom am I in?" She asked the wolf without turning.

Scythe had easily tossed the she-fox back, away from her chance of escape. He watched her as she glared at him, unaffected by her anger. She seemed to grow tired of glaring and instead took to looking around. But, he tensed as she raised her head and then struggled to the Crystal in the center of the room. Was I wrong in bringing her here, Twin? He asked Kala, who suddenly seemed too quiet to him. He nearly leapt on the she-fox as she poked the Crystal, but froze as he watched the blue spark pulse once through her body. She seemed unaffected, other than her wounds healing. He bit back a snarl as she didn't turn from it, but instead ventured to ask, "What Kingdom is this?" He replied with a slight hesitation, wondering desperately what was one her mind, "Sunmoon." And like that, she was racing past him with the Crystal in her jaws. STOP HER! Kala screamed, suddenly taking over and charging for the fox. She was out faster than he could scramble through the tunnel, but he picked up speed and was soon within leaping distance, but he couldn't jump or he'd surely lose her.

Lunaris turned away from Leon, headed instead to the medical ward to check on Lillian. But when she arrived, she didn't find the she-fox in any of the cots. Lunaris felt panic rising in her, but did not let it show. She trusted Shayla had taken her here, so where did Lillian disappear to?

Disappear... Lunaris thought. She could feel an inkling of a presence lurking, long gone by now, but an impression remaining. It occurred to her then that the she-fox had been kidnapped, likely due to her weakened state.

Lunaris shifted then, soaring to Amaterasu. "Your guard, Lillian. I have reason to believe she has been kidnapped, though I do not know by whom." she said, keeping her voice low and calm, yet managing to express an urgency through her tone.

Kala ran, stumbling after the she-fox. "You dammed thief!" He howled, quickly gaining ground on her, and just as he almost trampled the smaller being her leapt, jaws wide as he aimed to snap her neck and crush her with his weight. But suddenly, he was blinded. Before he knew it, the wolf was crumpled on the ground where she had just been beneath him. Furious and panicking, the male wolf let out a howl....

Lillian had snatched the Crystal and scrambled out of the grove, too fast for the large wolf. She would have laughed, would it not have involved dropping the precious artifact. The she-fox raced through the woods, taking the direction she knew would lead her to Moon. She huffed, unable to breathe properly with the Crystal in her jaws, and unable to stop to gasp in some air because of her pursuant. He gained quickly on her, though he lumbered a bit clumsily in his rising panic. She laughed inwardly, suddenly vanishing in a blinding light just as he almost had her. She had been close enough to Moon to risk using this energy, and as she flashed out back in the infirmary, she all but crashed out into the hall. The Crystal dropped and she caught it under her paw, sprawled on the floor and panting. The she-fox suddenly laughed loudly enough for the two Entities to hear that she'd come back. Her laugh was relieved and triumphant, and she listened to her heartbeat slow and steady itself again.

Just as Shiro closed the door behind him, he heard the excessive padding of paws. Turning he saw it was Liliian, she had come out of nowhere and skid along the floor. "Oh, there you are, where do you run off to?" He asked and then noticed something shiny under her paw as it glimmered in the light. He focused on it for a moment before taking his gaze back to the fox. "What's that?" He knelt down to her a few steps back with a friendly smile. He wanted to know what had happened while he was out of it in the forest.

Never one to be corrupted by any thought of power, Lillian retracts her paw so that Shiro can pick up the Crystal and examine it himself. "That.." She breathes, her eyes bright with triumph, "Is the key to taking down Sunmoon!" Wasting no time, she squirms forward a little and in a whisper, as though the information is a secret, she explains what had happened to her in full detail. She doesn't hide a single thing, for her training had taught her to never lie unless she was captured by an enemy. After explaining, she watches him, her own excitement barely contained. "Had I not wasted the strength my body had regained, I would be leaping about right now." She nearly laughs, adding mentally that she wouldn't even be back in Moon had she not flashed at the last second. "What do you think, Shiro? Should we hand it over to Lunaris and Amaterasu?"

Shiro picked up the crystal as she moved her paw from over it. He examined it and listened to the events that had occurred during his brief absence. "I'm sorry that I wasn't able to assist in the battle or help you escape your captor." He was upset in not thinking the situation over fully as he slid his finger over the crystal. He wasn't sure quite what to think of the object, it gave off a strange aura, something he'd usually stay away from. "It would be very wise to hand it over to them, since they'd probably know what to do with it. But, what makes you think it is strong enough to take down SunMoon?" Shiro questioned with interest.
PostPosted: Mon Dec 12, 2011 7:52 pm

"My captor was rather keen to get it back. He tensed up the moment I took interest in it." Lillian replied, scooting forward and butting her head against his leg to show she accepted his apology. She waited several more moments before struggling back to her paws. "Whatever it is, it has power. Perhaps the Entities can find a way to access this power." She says, making no move to take the Crystal back. Instead, she starts to limp where she could scent Lunaris and Amaterasu strongest. "And that chamber.." She stops briefly, waiting for Shiro to come with her. "It held an aura of power similar to the Chamber I fought in here." She adds, eyes misting over momentarily as the memory reminds her that she could have died. Fool, you are Captain of Amaterasu's Elite Guard! We're trained from birth to give our lives in battle! She thinks, shaking herself mentally.

Shiro took a few steps forward as Lillian began to limp forward but stopped as he felt a chill in the air. He listened intently to what she had to say; about her captors, the crystal and the strange room she had been held in. The information made no sense to him at first but he thought about in silence for a moment. "Maybe there was some way that the rooms were connected, like a secret passage of some sort that your captor used to go back and forth. Quite possibly this crystal holds a power greater than any of our imaginations could comprehend, we should return it very soon." Shiro said before starting to walk in the direction Lillian was headed.

Lillian addressed Shiro's concern with a sideways dip of her head. "If anyone might know, Lunaris would be our best bet. She and Solaris are the oldest of the Entities." She replied, remembering what Amaterasu had once said to her during her training. She turned again and continued to amble in the direction of the two female entities. "She'll know what it is and what we should do with it." She adds in a lower voice, as if the walls themselves might hear their secrets.

"That makes sense, the elder entities know more about the past, quite possibly they could have created something like this." Shiro answered as he followed Lillian as she turned down one of the hallways. He figured that the item probably didn't belong to her captor and may be a rare artifact of some sort. Whatever it was, he wanted nothing to do with it. "I hope you're right about that." He answered when the fox stated that the entities would know what to do with it.
