"You saw them. The others. They seemed to struggle with the lowest of his demon spawn. They won't last against Naraku." he said bluntly.

Takai thought for a bit before finally shrugging. "I can keep most of the demon spawn at bay with the help of spirits and such. I still think it'll take more than just you to take out Naraku."

Takari narrowed her eyes at him when he looked away. She poked him rather hard in his arm before crossing her arms at him. "Don't even think about it. I'll make sure that we survive. If you're just worried about the spirits and such that help me, they only do as they are told. They are loyal and in debt forever to the Reapers... Besides, they're already partially dead, so they don't count."

"It's a release for me as well." Vince said, sighing. He didn't poke back, and didn't move even when she poked him. "I'm not worried about the spirits. I've seen then. I'm not even worried about the others. I just find it a waste that if they die while fighting him, when I could just as easily end both of us."
