Watching Yang hop away Mitsu gingerly took a seat on the bed next to Shun. Since he was leaving it up to her Mitsu took up the container of chicken noodle soup and the ham sandwich. Grabbing a spoon from the bag she eyed her container for a moment before looking back to Shun.

"Just a little tired but it was no trouble." She admitted. Which was true mostly, though she was also still very sore. The painkillers had worn off and the lycan was very aware of every little cut she had obtained on the trip.

Pulling the top off her soup container Mitsu took a couple of bites (do you take bites of soup I don't even know) before she tried to think of where she should start. "You still wanted to know what happened right?"

Nodding to her, Shun carefully took the containers. He opened up the one for soup first to begin spooning some into his mouth. By Jack this was good stuff. Then again, his hunger was probably making things taste better.

"Yes.. I do. I.. suspect that Red has died. I felt something that felt like a large bone before we left that place," he explained, "Other than that I've only been able to pick up on various lights and a few noises... the words she said into our minds."

Mot was groggy. Tired, in pain, and groggy as Hell.

He'd stayed up for two days straight after the field trip, nearly passed out in the shower, took himself to bed only to have a horribly vivid nightmare, had Hel sing him to sleep and ended up sleeping for 8 hours. Now, Mot was an insomniac. He normally couldn't sleep longer than 5 hours on a good day. Getting so much sleep had made him feel worse somehow.

Any attempts to nap were failing, either his insomnia plaguing his rest or a sliver of a nightmare creeping into his mind and nudging him awake. He wasn't able to go outside due to his recent sensitivity to light either. So no walks to calm down.

Oh well. He decided to check on who he could. However, it would be contained to the reaper dorms. This started with Shun. He knew the reaper had been afflicted with something that caused his senses to go numb, and he was worried for him. Mot groaned, dragging his feet down the hall and up the stairs to Shun's room. He knew where the reaper lived simply because of the online conversation they had had before their trip.

Mot blinked slowly, tiredly, his reddened sclera still raw from the attack, the welts and burns around his eyes barely healing yet. He knocked slowly at the door. Then again, if Shun was still out of it, he wouldn't hear. Was.. anyone taking care of him? "Anyon' in?" Mot drawled sleepily.

"Y..yeah," The food in Mitsu's hand was ignored as she tried to compile her thoughts. "Shortly after we had attacked the false reaper with the scythe, Red attacked everyone. A lot..." Her voice trailed off for a moment as she remembered her friends suddenly gone. "A lot of the students died from it. I was able to drag you back but...I wasn't able to help anyone else." The disappointment in herself was apparent but she continued.

She continued to to retell the story from what she could remember though there wasn't much left to tell. Red had spared them from the hunters and apparently had used up the last of her energy. She explained how the large beast had grown still and the false reaper had cut her down which was why there was a giant skull on the canyon floor. It wasn't long after that when the hunters had left and they were finally reunited with their friends and were finally on their way home. "...And then I finally got you back here." It was easy to see that Mitsu had become one track minded once she had returned wanting to get Shun help. She had been scared about his vision and hearing loss and didn't want to waste time if it meant the condition would only worsen.

Mitsu had just finished her story when she heard the knock on the door. Her ears tilted this way and that as she looked toward it, suddenly hearing a familiar voice. "It's Mot."

Setting her soup aside Mitsu slowly got to her feet and went to the door opening it up for the reaper. Upon first sight it seemed Mot was still in rough shape, his face still red and burned, his eyes raw and sore looking. "Big Brother?" Mitsu questioned before stepping aside to let the cowboil enter. "Are you doing okay?"

While Mitsu told the story, Shun listened carefully while eating the food she provided. He was trying to tie the details to various things he experienced in the canyon. And when the story was done, he remained silent for a little long. So not only had Red died in a rather permanent matter, she had sacrificed herself for their sake.

One more life that the hunters have claimed.

He... didn't know entirely how to feel about this. One day though, they would have to find a way to get back at the Hunters for doing what they've done to them all. Somehow...

The knock was one thing that the Reaper didn't pick up on, but he did notice Mitsu saying that it was Mot. Someone must be at the door. He remained seated while watching her move to answer it, seeing the blurry figure of the cowboy on the other side of the door.

Quietly, he nodded to the other boy, seeing how Mitsu already asked if he was faring alright.

Mitsu? She was here too? Mot's mind put what he'd seen at the house as a hint; they must be together. That being said, it was entirely possible Mitsu was the one caring for Shun. Mot managed a small smile for Mitsu, nodding his head slowly. "M'alright." He stepped in as he was allowed, waving to Shun. How was Shun, he wondered. Risking sounding like a fool for talking to a maybe still deaf person, Mot walked further into the room.

"How're ya holdn' up?" He asked as groggily. He flicked a gaze to Mitsu, just in case the reaper's concern was falling on deaf ears (c whut i did thar?).

Seeing Mot's questioning gaze she nodded. "He can hear...kinda. Just be sure to speak up a little." Mitsu explained as she glanced back at the shinigami. His eye sight and hearing had come along the last couple of days. Hopefully with a little bit of food and more rest it wouldn't be long before he was back to normal.

Reaching toward the cowboil reaper Mitsu took hold of Mot's sleeve giving it a little tug. She then gestured to his eyes with her other hand. "What did Nurse Cricket say about your eyes? Are they doing okay?" Honestly, Mitsu was surprised Mot could see at all. The wounds he had sustained looked terrible. Just looking at them made her own tired eyes itch, burn, and threaten to water. Mitsu felt lucky she had only gotten a few cuts. Being blinded wasn't the most enjoyable of experiences, she knew this first hand, but being blinded from an attack was something entirely different.

Now hearing Mot's voice (though kind of faintly), Shun nodded to him before glancing to Mitsu as she explained the situation a little more. When she asked about his eyes, he paused for the moment. He soon recalled that before they charged at the scythe hunter, Hel was taking care of Mot who had been burned in the face pretty badly. It seemed that the guy was getting along now considering he was able to find his room without a hitch.

"Good to hear your eyes getting better as well," he said quietly.

For now, he went ahead and finished up his food before getting up to try and spot where his trash can was. It took him a moment to locate it, but he managed to get things into the right place.

That was a relief. Mot smiled, knowing Shun would recover.

His head tilted to Mitsu, her concern met with an obvious avoidance of eye contact. "She said take the medicine and rest. They're okay, but I can't go outside for a while. Hurts too much." The reaper moved closer to where Shun was, sitting himself on the ground. Closer meant he wouldn't have to project his voice as much. He gave Shun a thankful smirk that the other reaper may not have been able to see. Habit.

"So Shun seems better-ish. How are you Mitsu? It's nice to see you talking again. You worried me back at the tent."

Take the medicine and rest. That seemed to be what she had told most of them. At least the medicine was working? Mitsu was, however, a little suspicious to whether Mot was resting or not. Given the reaper's avoidance of closing his eyes for long periods of time.

"Umm...," Mitsu's gaze averted to the ground sheepishly. She really hadn't meant to worry anyone. Just at the time, she hadn't felt like talking. More like she was certain if she tried to she would only cry instead. "I'm sorry to have worried you." She said softly avoiding the question about her current state. The lycan was mobile and eating, or at least had eaten a few bites of food, that was something right?

Moving back into the room to follow Mot, Mitsu took a seat on the bed picking up her sandwich though she fiddled with the wrapper mostly. "So are you actually resting?" Mitsu decided to ask.

Ah yes, the medicine. Shun wasn't entirely certain what it was but he had been taking it fairly consistently. Watching Mot as he came by to sit onto the floor, he missed the smirk. The question that had been tossed towards Mitsu piqued a bit of concern.

"She wasn't talking?" he frowned. He wouldn't have known really.

His gaze went back and forth between the two others for the moment. It sounded like the cowboy's eyes were pretty sensitive or something like that, which made sense if his eyes had been damaged.

"Oh. Is Hel and the others alright as well?" he asked, figuring the cowboy would have a little more insight on the status of the other students that had gone through hell with them.

Mot didn't want to worry Shun, he hadn't meant to. "No, but she is now?" Mot tried to smooth over that fact with a short wave of his hand. He was still feeling groggy, but a little more coherent.

He first adressed Mitsu's question, since she seemed so concerned. "Um.." He scratched his neck, looking sheepish. "Kind of?" That was a big no.

Avoiding that altogether now, his attention went to Shun. "Hel seems fine. Healthy, and in good spirits. I haven't been able to see Riyo yet though."

Mot might have wanted to ignore his lack of sleep but Mitsu wasn't about to. She frowned looking at the reaper in an almost disapproving way, like a mother scolding her child for tracking mud through the house. His answer was enough of a tip off that he had tried and gave up.

"You should really be resting, Big Brother." Mitsu said firmly.

Though when Shun asked about her not speaking Mitsu looked at him sheepishly. Her ears fell back as she place a hand on his arm. She was okay now, healing and on the road to recovery. There was no need to worry now.

At least it seemed that Hel was alright. Riyo was likely fine too he assumed. Though, Shun looked over at Mitsu for a moment or so as Mot confirmed she hadn't been speaking before. While he couldn't quite see her expression, he saw her ears fold back a bit. Placing a hand over the one touching his arm, he gripped it lightly, then looked back over towards the cowboy.

"I see..." he said before glancing up at the wolf girl, "Eh. A little time out of bed shouldn't hurt. I'm sure he came up to check up on us or something like that."

Shun couldn't think of any other reason why Mot would stop by at least.

Mitsu's firm scolding made Mot pout, puffing his cheeks as he avoided the ghoul's stare. He couldn't sleep. He wouldn't. It was too hard to.

Aha! Mot grinned soon after (not his widest gin considering his condition), rather pleased Shun defended his reasoning. "Bingo." He replied.

"I just wanted to be sure everything was okay, or on the way to being okay. Did you both need anything? Though.. I guess I can't exactly run errands outside of the dorm building." How useless a venture. Well, the visit was more for himself. He wanted to see for himself that his friends were safe and sound and on the mend. Especially Shun, due to his condition.

Still, if he had something they didn't he'd be glad to offer. "If not I'll leave you be." It just sucked hanging around his room doing nothing.
