Still on auto-pilot, Jerry pushed his glasses up his nose, humming a bit louder now if only to try to steady his already shot nerves. Just breath. In. And out. He was in a lovely field of flowers. He was playing a carnival game. He was going to win Candace that lovely big stuffed unicorn that was oh-so-fluffy...

He pulled the trigger, and apparently won a prize.

Night hissed as he felt the night drop down on him. His body shifted back to his natural cat form as he pawed at the net sadly.

"What, Captured so soon? Lady Luck was not on my side tonight...." He sighed and twiddled his thumbs...maybe he could be like super cute to whoever was doing this!

Oooh, she liked this ghoul. Eris made absolutely no effort what so ever to hide the smile that curled the corners of her lips as Levi mirrored the gesture, pleasantly surprised by the formality that was usually never even extended to a head-nod, much less a full bow. That, in itself, was enough to put her in the ghoul's good graces, even without knowing anything else. Straightening slowly, the horsewoman folded her arms loosely under her bosom, holding her elbows in a relaxed pose as she tucked her wings back against her hips, giving the ghoul a longer, more in depth look, clearly intrigued. "And you, Levi," she replied with a low purr, "If there is a fight, I'll be there. As for the purpose of all this... I have my suspicions." It seemed she wasn't going to divulge any more information than that. Instead, she merely smiled at Legs, clearly amused by the affectionate gesture to Levi, intrigued. Perhaps they knew each other? Still, she let her eyes drift to Demi, expression settling a little at his question.

"Not since we entered the house, no. We weren't in much contact before that, she sent us hunting for hunters," she replied with a slightly darker tone, taking on a more serious note.

And, it seemed, as if summoned, there they were. The first 'FWOOSH' of a net was enough to snap her attention away from the group, eyes suddenly burning. For a moment, there was chaos -- the sound of screams was immediate, cries as students were suddenly trapped. Off to one side, a ghoul went down under the weight of a net, collapsing to the rubble. Others quickly followed. It was only until she watched four students go down that she realized it was an ambush. And that was it -- the sweetness in her expression was gone, replaced by a snarling expression, her wings spread as if she were about to take off, lashing out like a snake towards where the nets were coming from.

"HUNTERS!"

Three short strides, and she was at the edge, staring up at them, completely oblivious to the danger. Two of three nets went by her, a quick snap of her wings blocking them and casting them away, as if they were nothing but spiderwebs. But the third... the third shot true, and she collapsed, completely startled for a few breaths. It seemed the first two had NOT been cast away, but had tangled about her wings, pinning her for the third. But as typical with the horseman of War, her surprise quickly turned to seething anger, screeching from where she was caught.

"I will KILL you with my bare hands!"

Ennéa still didn't really know what was going on. She appeared on the cliff side along with all the other hunters and someone shoved a capture gun into her hands.

She fumbled awkwardly with the gun, not really sure what to do but even she could tell that now was not the time to be asking questions. Down below she could see even more monster strangers. Baraz growled and hissed restlessly in her mind.

Then, as if as one, the other hunters started firing at the monsters. Ennéa saw Maddie capture the zombie girl that they had fought earlier and felt a grime sense of satisfaction. Several other hunters had captured their targets too, she noticed. Ennéa turned to do the same.

That one! Baraz screeched excitedly. Shoot her!



Ennéa reflexively pulled the trigger in surprise and the shot went wide. "Baraz!" She hissed. "Shut up!"

Before did not know what the ******** he just caught, other than it sounded like a girl, and that the girl was pissed. Wordlessly, he shuffled back, holding both wheel and gun to his sides. No apologies from Before this time. This was their mission and he didn't want to screw things up.

"XIU, TESS!" She struggled, tugging at the net that held her captive as she whimpered; no no no! Not again! She knew that they were not safe here, but... She watched as chaos erupted all around her - it was painful to watch her schoolmates go down, one after the other. They were trapped here, on the edge of this cliff, with nowhere to go... They were helpless...

"RUN!" She squeaked tearfully at her friends who had not been captured, staring wide-eyed as net after net fell from the sky. Using all her strength, she reached out towards Tess, offering a hand through the netting. One particular net caught her attention, however, as her heart stopped for a whole two seconds after seeing the student the net held.

She tugged at the net so hard that she was sure that there would be cuts on her free hand soon, "AMRITA!"
