Tiresia had been fast asleep when one of her guildmates knocked the door down, but even then, that didn't wake her up. Her friend sighed and went over to the esper mage, checking her forehead for a fever. "Sick again Tire? This is at least the seventh time this month..."

She shook her head. "Alright, back to the infirmary with you." Tiresia coughed as she woke up and shook her head. N-no...Just take me to Poly...She'll know... Her telepathic voice was shaky and weak and she had never finished her sentence before falling back asleep. The guildmate sighed and picked her up bridal-style.

She carried her to Poly's and the Fairy Tail medic mage sighed after she shoo'd her friend away with the broom. "That seal is acting up again isn't it...?" She gently brushed away the esper mage's hair from her neck and sighed again at the unsightly, scar-like seal. A brief touch made it pulse and Tiresia tensed, holding the book tighter. It was then that she noticed the book but didn't take it away. It was distracting her from the pain from the seal and she would have a hard time removing it from her. She began to work on the seal.

Zerkon had just been looking over the book one final time, accidentally tuning anything out the Jeri might have said, when that very same random guildmate came walking by, then looked at the books they had been looking at."Huh...Those books look familar, but I can't put my finger on it..." Zerkon's ears perked up, as he looked up to the guild mate, clearly intrigued. "Oh really? That means we might have a lead now!" He stated fiercely, with a small fire in his eyes."Try to remember harder!"

"Whoa! Hold on, I'm thinking....Oh! I remember now! Tiresa had one of those books in her hands when I dropped her off earlier today at Porlyuscia's!"

With that, Zerkon stood up with such force, he knocked over his chair and the table he was standing at almost toppled over too.

"WHAT?! " Zerkon outbursted, suprised by the volume of his own voice. "What is she doing there? What's wrong? Is she hurt?" He spat out his words so quickly, and stared at the guildmate in a threatening manner, almost ready to grab her by the collar.

"Whoa! Slow down, Chill out! She's just running a high fever again.Your girlfriend's gonna be fine."

"AGAIN?! How many times has she- Forget it!" Zerkon gathered his book, and a few items off the the table. "Come on!" he motioned to Jeri to follow, then went to the bathroom door and yelled to Silver. "Hey! Me and Jeri have found out that Tire has a book like ours. We're going to Porlyusica's to check up on her and get more info. If you want to follow, you know where to find us!"
He turned and rushed out the door leaning over his shoulder to say one last tidbit...

"...And she's not my girlfriend!"

Meanwhile, Poly concentrated on lessening the affect the seal had on her and gently lifted the esper mage's head with one hand, careful not to touch the seal. "Wake up, Tiresia. You need to drink this. It will help you feel better." She managed to wake up long enough to drink and swallow the concoction the medic had created for her before returning to sleep.

Porlyuscia laid her head back down on the pillow and checked the fever. It was still bad, but it was lessening. "A few days rest...A week at most." estimated the medic mage under her breath.

Silver was looking at himself through the mirror when he heard Zerkon's voice. He had tried to enter the book through a portal of his, a variation of the soul portal he used on Zerkon before, this ended badly for him. His silvery eyes was tensing and his vision pulsed with every beat his heart took, the entry backfired and instead of him ending up within the book, the book ended up within him. Though it wasn't physically within him, he could feel the malenchanted thing corrupting his insides. Feeling sick again, he coughed up a few drops of blood.

You shouldn't have attempted that Adrian said as he watched Silver's sorry state. You'd best follow your friends when you can he suggested before letting Silver deal with the great discomfort.

When Jeri heard about Tiresia, she decided to follow Zerkon to check up on her as well. I hope she's alright...I wonder if it's about this book? However, as she left the guild, she felt that her magical flow was messed up somehow. That's not good...maybe I might need this "Porlyusica" take a look at me too. I hope I'm just imagining things...

Elsewhere, Herald was asking around town if anyone had seen Vince. All of a sudden, a girl from the guild noticed him and walked up to him. "Hey, you're from the guild, right? Yeah, I'm pretty sure I've seen you around a couple of times...or did I? I think you were getting hit with a glass or something...or was that the other dude? I guess that would hurt. That reminds me, I hope Tiresa's okay; Having to drag a person whose been sick for days to Porlyuscia's place for healing is not fun, let me tell you...You know what is fun? Fighting and then-" She began going on and on until Herald just replied with "I have more important things to do than listen to drabble." Despite Ladencia's vehement protesting, Herald simply ignored Tire's plight and walked on to continue his search.

Zerkon attempted to knock on the door, to try and be polite, but knew that because It was Porlyuscia, that she most likely wouldn't let him in anyway. He thought to himself, wondering if there was any way he could get in without her noticing. When he couldn't find any viable way to get in without breaking something, he resigned himself to his fate...that he was eventually going to have to break something. "I'm here to see Tiresa, I heard she was here. I was told she wasn't well." He said after he had finished knocking.

The medic mage heard the knock and walked over before opening the door. She glared down at Zerkon. "Tiresia is still resting. Now leave." Her voice was commanding and she shuts the door in his face.

"Listen, I don't mean to be rude, But I need to see her. And if you want to be an obstacle, then I'll just have to find a way around you." Zerkon looked upward, a gleam in his eye that could only be from a man possibly in love, to the window, wondering if his sword could carry him up enough to get through the window. "Why must she be so difficult?"

Poly didn't hear him and instead returned to check on Tiresia. She noted that the esper mage's temperature was still high and that she was shallowly breathing. "Difficult human..." The medic mage placed a damp cloth on Tiresia's forehead.

" Well,It doesn't look she's going to come back." Zerkon mused, and disregarding the fact that Jeri was right behind him, Created a Silpharion and stabbed it into the tree right below the window next to the door, and stood upon it. Then he swung at the window, creating an explosion blade, destroying the twig-made window, and jumped through. He rolled inside, landing face first. "I'm sorry, and I'll replace the window, but I'm not going back. You can kick me out, but I'll keep coming back." Zerkon turned to Tiresa, Ignoring whatever Porlyuscia was saying, noting her pitiful state.

Jeri was sad that she wouldn't be able to see how her nakama was doing, but decided to relent to the old sage and started to leave. Then, however, Zerkon stabbed a sword into the tree and busted through the window. "Z-Zerkon, what are you doing?!? She just told us Tiresia needs rest!" Beginning to wonder if the trip was wasted, she decided to sit down at the foot of a nearby tree and look through the purple book. However, when she opened it, a vision of a dark room full of books briefly flashed through her head. When she could see again, she saw two more lines from the book, "I hide many things about myself" and "I am like a bat." What...what was that? First my energy feels all weird, and now I'm seeing visions...I hate to be a bother, but I need to get this taken care of. Jeri jumped up to the Silfarian in the tree and grabbed it, but couldn't get on top of it. "Zerkon, could you help me out a bit? I can't get up!"

Silver was seen leaving the washroom with a quaint but well meaning smile, he was feeling better than when he came into the washroom. The book must be starting to affect him. Taking a cup of hot chocolate, he immediately went outside to follow Zerkon. This was way out of the ordinary when it came to Silver's personality, even Adrian doesn't have this type of behavior. Walking lightly outside, people were turning their heads towards Silver. Who is that? One girl said before her mother immediately hushed her, they noticed something strange about him.

Porlyuscia swiftly turns around at the sound of the explosion blade and glares down at Zerkon. She sighed. "Fine, but do not touch anything and keep in mind that Tiresia still needs her rest." The medic mage looks out the window and glares at Jeri. "You can return to your guild. A patient and a guest are enough as it is!

Meanwhile, Tiresia was waking up, even though it could only be for a brief moment. Z...Zerkon? Her telepathic voice was weak and shaky. It was barely even audible.

Jeri started to plead with the old sage to be let in. "I'm sorry, but I need you to take a look at me. I think something is wro---" However, before she could finish her sentence, the distortion in her magic intensified. As the strength flew out of her body, she let go of Silfarian and fell onto the ground. Jeri lost control of her magic, and a purple light came out of the book and went into her head. When she looked at the open book before her, she realized to her shock that it was now blank. She tried to stand up, but her body was too messed up to let her. As Jeri lost consciousness, she thought she saw the grass around her start turning brown...

(Dude, bro, I really have no Idea what's going on with Jeri. Why's she reacting like that to the book? I don't get it. It's all rather confusing. And for that matter, why did you not have her read off all the lines at once, like the rest of us?)

Zerkon turned to look at jeri, who fell off his well placed sword and crashed to the ground. "Great, I was hoping she would be able to assist me in discerning the meaning of Tire's book, but I guess that's a no go." He sighed and turned to Porlyusica, not noticing the grass turning brown. "I will not do any more damage than I already have".He noted, while staring at the window, that it was made of wooden twigs that were part of the tree itself, realizing that yes, he could replace the window, but he couldn't replace the time she had taken to manipulate the tree to get it that way.Cringing, he actually didn't hear Tiresa, but had turned to her anyway, resuming his analysis, staying next to her bed. "Do you know what's wrong with her? Ah, who am I kidding? It's probably the seal; it's ALWAYS that damned seal." He groaned this comment, lowering his eyes, remembering the times he had tried to deal with it before. "Somedays I wish I could just find why that seal's there and just destroy it. I mean, I've been able to temporarily seal the pain, but It's just...never enough." He sighed, not knowing why he just spilled this to Porlyusica; for all he knew, she wasn't even listening. In order to distract himself, he gently pulled a chair up next to the bed, within arm's reach, and began studying the lines in the book he currently possesed. If he tried hard enough, he swore he could sense Silver approaching...
