Winter

After a few more steps, Winter began,"Yeah. I lived here most of my life. Geo raised me along with others.It isn't a big shiny place, but as you saw, the rooms are cozy and warm, the food is hot and ready.'"

The bundle moved around and faced Tyran's direction, staring curiously at him from Winter's position ahead of him.

Little drifts of snow wafted down. Trees were coming across the path more often. Ahead, there was a line of snowy forest.
" Geo is a great father-figure to any child."

" Why is my family the only one that holds these secrets?" he asked.

Alexand leaned down to face him from her standing position, " yours is not the only family that knows." She pointed to herself, then went on," Perhaps many generations of the people who knew about dragons have died out. But there are still some who know, or want to believe."
Alex straightened back up and placed a volume back on the shelf," Those men back there who tried to use you, they were Dragon-hunters."
She turned to face Ivan who was slowly rising to his feet, sensing they were about to travel more.

She continued," The bad kind. i'm actually a hunter myself, but I don't kill for that kind of profit. Maybe you should call me a 'Tamer' instead."

Ivan's eyes widened, " TAMER? Doesn't that mean..."

She smiled and nodded," But I haven't had contact...for a long long time."


Winter
She kept quiet at this for a distance, but spoke up when they entered the forest area. Trees were now everywhere, and little patches of snow dotted the place.

" I don't know my blood." She answered. She thought about asking where he was from," So...How did you manage your way here? You must be far away from your homeland?"

A twig snapped rather loudly under her foot, and the baby dragon rolled its head suddenly to the side.

"Hush hush, its ok." She said to it.

~Ivan~
He was amazed by this revelation.
Alexand was a Dragon Tamer, and he was only a bookcase of limited info.


Winter
"Good thing we met, then, right? "
The little dragon nuzzled her shoulder.
" We'll find a dragon." She said this all of a sudden, because that is the topic she had been thinking about her entire trip.

Since she hatched the little baby beast, all she could think about was dragons. Their existence, and where were the others?

Winter
She did not actually know that answer, but there were only hints of where they could go.

" A little past this forest. We must be careful going through it, sometimes bears or worse can attack."

~Ivan~
"So Where could we find a dragon if they do indeed exist, mh?" Ivan piped up.



Winter
Nh!

"What is happening?!" Winter muttered under her breath while fleeing with Tyran.

She heard a whipping sound as more trees fell. Whatever was the cause, it seemed to be huge and above the trees.

~Ivan~
"So Where could we find a dragon if they do indeed exist, mh?" Ivan piped up.

Alex then shrugged," That is why I need you to help me." She finished with a smile.


Winter
Slowly, and carefully, Winter edged towards the entrance of the cave. There was an odd breeze making the shrubs and branches flow in front of it. She continued forward, holding onto the wall and peering out to the open.
Nothing.

At least until a gust of musty wind blew down her back. Goosebumps formed, and she became pale as she stared up at the source.
On top of the ledge of the entrance, a beast stood looking down upon Winter, who was frozen in shock.

The baby dragon peeped and whistled, stirring Winter into motion. She spun and ducked down, moving towards the treeline and brought up her weapon. The beast on the ledge shook its neck. A few orange feathers floated down.

It only stared at the two.
