"Boo. I'm not even tipsy yet," Leviat muttered under his breath as he set his empty glass down and glanced warily at Plios. Had he really been paying that close attention to his physique when he was trying to stop crying and draining his clothes of as much water as was possible?
"Kay," Raine mewed as his tail remained at a steady content sway behind him.
"Sounds like fun. I love reading. It teaches quite a bit and I love to learn new things. I was serious about what I said before though... I've got several secrets that those three don't even know about other than the reason I get fidgety about people wanting to remove my gloves," Shiros purred softly as he snuggled closer to Plios and lightly licking him on the neck.
"I'd love to see you keep him awake much longer than this. You can tell he's getting tired just by the way he's snuggling up to you. Last time he had this happen, he snuggled up to Leviat before completely passing out," Charlie mumbled as he finished off his daiquiri. He was still wondering how Leviat could drink several large glasses of extremely heavy alcoholic beverages and still not feel the buzz from it after all of the years of knowing him.

Leviat gave a slight pout, but stood up and stretched beside Raine.
"To the bookstore," Shiros half cheered half mumbled as he leaned lightly against Plios, his eyes barely open.
"Right... Leviat, please stop pouting. You know you're capable of holding probably two kegs in your gut and just getting a light buzz from that. To the bookstore it is," Charlie sighed before flashing a light smile at Raine. "Your tail's doing it's own thing again."
Raine glanced at his tail that was lightly rubbing against Plios' thigh. "I'm sorry. Bad tail. Bad. Not in public," he muttered as he quickly pulled his tail away.

Leviat just waved a hand over his shoulder as he started walking off in his own little direction of the bookstore with one thing in mind; mangas. He'd seen several of the kids to previous masters and mistresses reading them and they'd caught his fascination.
"There's so many of them," Shiros purred softly before hiccuping again while still clinging to Plios' side. "Gomen ne... May I just rest my eyes for a minute or two?"
"I've got no idea how he's so fluent in all these languages. He said he was sorry about that in Japanese," Charlie murmured softly before glancing at a book on Egyptian mythology.
"Books on the fey! This place is like Heaven," Raine mewed as he started glancing at books about "fantasy creatures".

"Wow... Am I allowed to read them?" Shiros breathed as his eyes shifted carefully over the tomes. Any signs as to him being drunk completely overtaken by giddiness. Shiros was excited to see something new to read. The other three nekos remained rather cheerful about books they hadn't read in the front of the store rather than paying any attention to the tomes in this secret room. "I'll be extremely careful with them..."

"R-really?" Shiros purred sweetly as he lightly set a hand against the wall. He was feeling kind of lightheaded ever since Plios started playing with his ears.
"I would wait to start playing with his ears and tail until we're either on our way back to the house or we're in the house. He's got sensitive ears and will start getting so lightheaded he'll pass out if you do that too long," Leviat muttered from the wall beside the door leading into the room, a small stack of different types of books in his arms. Charlie was already reading a few books with his back against Raine's who was doing the same thing.

"Here we go. You don't have these in your library," Shiros smiled holding several tomes as if they were made of very thin glass in his arms.
"Why the pet shop? I just found them interesting after reading a few from old master's children," Leviat responded as a soft blush crept across his face.
