"M...me try?" Mitsu's gaze drifted back toward the course. It looked kind of...impossible for her current rank of abilities. Not to mention a lot of the platforms were a little on the tall side. "I-I don't know." She stuttered, obviously the idea made her nervous. "I'll think about it?"
Suddenly Mitsu felt someone take her hand and looked over just as Junko put a smoothie in her hand. "O-Oh thank you, Ju-" And she just walked away. Was she trying to be sneaky about it? Mitsu stared after the ghoul for a moment before she shrugged and brought the smoothie close to have a sip. Again her tail began to wag. There was just something about the things that Junko made, they were always so tasty.
It wasn't long after that the crowd started to stir up and Mitsu's focus went to the two Nordic looking individuals not far off. There wasn't much Mitsu could say about the situation, all she knew was that she needed to stay clear.
"Shun, how difficult is the course?" Mitsu finally asked. Obviously she was giving it some thought.

Roch shoved his hands into his pockets and followed Xiu, intent on cheering her on before he got sent to his room like a bad boil.

It looked like the big ghost and Freya had... calmed down. Maybe. Shun wasn't really paying enough attention. Though, he knew that she was trying to pull Roch into this.
Nodding to Xiu as she decided to tackle the course, he soon turned his attention to Mitsu, who seemed a little wary of the idea.
"It's fairly difficult," he said, "I might.. try again in a bit. I'm not happy with my performance."

Everything hurt.
Xiu was clearly not used to doing obstacle courses like this, as when she returned to the concession booth, the Baku was rubbing quite obviously at her sore arms. She glanced over her shoulder to look at Roch, offering him a small smile. "W-well, that was..." ...Fun? She didn't feel like it was appropriate for her to use that word. It wasn't that she didn't have fun--some of the trials had been rather enjoyable--but...there had been a couple of things that had genuinely made her afraid during that course. "...Interesting. It was interesting." Xiu finished finally.
There was pause. "...And don't forget our deal, Roch!"
Moving back to where Shun and Mitsu stood, the Baku gave a little wag of her tail as she stopped in front of the pair, her smile growing slightly. "I...I'm back!"

"You did great," he said, grinning. "But now you should be even more tired than I am," he teased. "But I got it, I got it, I'm going. I wanted to do some stuff, anyway."
He had found a few more songs that he wanted to memorize, and it seemed a decent time to do it now. Besides, there were still too many ghosts here. He turned and walked away, absently scratching the back of his head as he went.

While Xiu was taking the course, Shun glanced over in that direction to see how she fared. She actually did pretty well. Upon her return, he nodded to her.
"Good job out there," he said quietly to the Baku, "Did you surprise yourself?"
He did tell her that she just might, after all.

Mitsu looked up curiously at Xiu's return hearing her mention something about a deal with Roch. What was that about? "Oh, you ran the course?" Mitsu went a little wide eyed behind her mask waiting to hear how that had gone. She had been scared enough watching Shun she probably would have flailed about watching Xiu.

Roch received a wave as he walked off, and then Xiu turned her attention back to Shun and Mitsu, grinning sheepishly at the reaper's question. "I...I did," She admitted, emitting a little laugh, "I-I mean, I didn't do that well, but..." She trailed off, giving a little shrug. In the end, she was still fairly proud of herself!
"I did! I made it though!" Xiu beamed at Mitsu, before perking up slightly as she looked over the lycan. If she could do it, then surely Mitsu could too, right? It hadn't been easy--her aching arms were a testament to that--but if Mitsu wanted to give it a go...
"Will you be trying too?"

"You made it through too?" Mitsu was considering trying more and more. If Xiu could try she could too right? "I..I was thinking about it, though I'm not sure." The heights in the course were still an issue. Would she be able to get passed it on her own?
"I'm not so sure I won't get....stuck."

Herryk wasn't sure what Freya meant when she called him number four. He was really too busy rolling his eyes at her comment about being the boss. She was amusing, that much was certain. Freya could talk a good game but Herryk wasn't entirely sure that she could 'whoops his a**'.
"Herryk did not know this was a GROUP competition," he snorted as Roch wandered off, watching the boil walk a fair distance away before turning his eyes back to Freya.
"Herryk thinks that bossy Freya needs a one on one fight." It was so hard for him not to call her ladybird. So hard. "What about if Herryk beats Freya at the course?" He wasn't entirely sure what it would be composed of, but he was utterly convinced he would be able to whoop her a**.

The course? What course? Freya had literally completely missed the fact that there was an event going on. She turned around and took a look at the course, eyeing it in surprise. Was that always there? Nobody told her there was more competition than just the EATING contest!
Her eyes lit up like the Fourth of July.
"Aiya, would you beautiful ladies mind watching my bag for me?" She asked Junko and Shehk, as she rolled her trunk underneath the table of the concession stand. If there were supplies underneath there.. they just got pushed. She didn't actually wait for a reply, because it was clear this was a priority. Then she got up, cracked her neck left, then right, and gave Herryk a challenging grin.
"You're on. What are the stakes?"

Herryk crossed his arms over his chest and watched her for a long moment before he tilted his head to the side and a slow grin crept over his face. Stakes, hmm? He wasn't sure what she had in mind as to what she would win if he lost, but he didn't trouble himself over it for one simple reason.
He wasn't going to lose.
"If Herryk wins, Freya can't cry." His face twisted in distaste, "Herryk hates crying." Lame stakes, but he wasn't sure what else to ask for. "If Freya wins..." he shrugged, "Herryk will buy her lunch?" He looked baffled. This was the first time he'd gone into a competition where there were stakes at risk, so all of his suggestions were a little weak.

Freya stared at Herryk in complete and utter shock.
One the one hand, there was losing, and not being allowed to cry. She was fine with this, because Freya did not cry when she lost. Freya just tried harder.
On the other hand... FREE FOOD.
Herryk was treated to a genuinely happy smile. She held her hand out and nodded. "Yeh got it!" What a sucker this Herryk was.. he could have gotten a free meal out of HER if he had been smart about it. But she wasn't complaining!

Hel sighed loudly as she wrung the water out of a dark braid, and her lips pulled into a small frown as she made her way over to the concession stand. Second day in a row she had…not…succeeded at the Terror Warrior challenge. No matter though! She would conquer it, come hell or high water, no matter how many days it took! She wouldn’t let it beat her, no way!
Until tomorrow though, the reaper was in need of some food and drink to make her feel better.
The ghoul was caught up in thoughts of conquering the challenge, and wringing out her fair braid, but she stopped dead in her tracks upon hearing a voice carried on the breeze. Goodness…was she hearing things? Hel blinked as she stared down at the ground. How odd…it was like she was hearing a sister’s voice…surely she must be imagining it? Her mind was probably playing tricks on her, echoing a voice within her mind in light of her recent uh…attempts at the course. Freya would tsk her now, wouldn’t she? If she had seen how…Hel had been fairing. But wait…Hel’s brows furrowed. There it was again!
It was now that the reaper’s head snapped up, her dual toned gaze sweeping over all the students who were at the concession stand. It was absolutely silly to be looking! You couldn’t find someone who wasn’t…
Her gaze landed on a fair figure with long, light blonde hair, accented by a set of wings she could spot paces away in the sky.
It couldn’t…
Hel’s lips parted in surprise as her eyes widened, and every muscle in her body froze.
It was Freya. The one and only.
All thoughts of past frustrations suddenly melted away, and any other face she would was normally greeted was forgotten for now. “Sister!” The valkyrie shrieked, a mixture of utter surprise and joy. She only stalled for a moment longer before lunging at the older valkyrie with her arms wide.

"It's up to you if you want to challenge it or not," Shun said to Mitsu while wondering if he should try to push her at all about it. On one hand, if she did well, it should work to boost her confidence. However.. there was the whole heights issue. Hm.
His thoughts were broken as he heard Hel shouting out to Freya.
Well, that confirmed his earlier suspicions for sure.
