She got in the playful stance with butt in the air.
"I came lookin' for someone to play with. Everyone is sleeping in the dorm... mostly. So it only you?"

 GermouserGermouser almost chuckled when Freedom called Iggycat old. The only reason he didn't was because he wasn't one to talk. He himself was pretty old...
When she asked if it was only him, he tilted his head to the side, but showed no sign that he was at all affected by her taking a pouncing stance. He had dealt with his brother, Gilcat, often caused him problems while declaring his awesomeness. In reality, though, Germouser had swatted him down more times than he could remember to to remind his older, albino sibling who was really boss among the pair. "Mein owner has three dogs, but they are too large to fit through the pet door of our dorm. Not zhat it matters. Blackie is an idiot who forgets he's larger than us cats und Berlitz is an arrogant Arschloch. Zhe only dogs that are alright are Aster und Pochi, who belongs to Japan. Itaby is here too, but he is probably still in zhe dorm. Knowing him, zhough, he may come in a little bit."

She wagged her tail more. Her eyes were lit up, and she was well rested. She had her kittieny need to play.

GermouserGermouser internally sighed. Well, she was a kitten. Playing was an important part of growing strong and learning basic traits like how to fight off predators or even your own friends and family. Besides, he'd spent a good part of the day napping already. If he didn't get some exercise, he was going to end up getting fat. He subtly shifted so it looked like he was just laying there, but would be ready to jump onto his feet at any moment. "Da. Sure. Keep in mind zhat I von't go easy on you just because you are a kitten or a girl."

GermouserGermouser instantly spring up and brought one of his gray paws down on top of the middle of her back. He then gave a small n** to the back of her neck. Nothing too hard that would hurt her. Just a little something to prove he wasn't about to go easy. He then quickly got to his feet and jumped back a little bit, head lowered as he prepared for her next attack.

It was a bit of a whine, she was not uset to being treated as an equel. She wasn't sure if she liked it, but it would make her stronger whether she knew it or not. She lowered her butt and examined her new opponent. He was big and strong and she had to beat him.

Germouserwas the kitten done already? Hmm. Perhaps he was too rough with her. Then again, he was used to taking on larger animals. Germouser sat down and sat tall as he looked to the kitten. "Are you done? If so, then I could give you some advice for the next time you take on a bigger cat, or any animal for that matter."

That got her attention and she halted her own retaliation plans and sat up, tilting her head to one side.

GermouserWell, he seemed to have caught her attention. He stood and walked so that he was standing next to her. "Alright. See if you can copy what I show you." He slowly crouched down so that it almost looked like he was laying down. However, if she looked carefully enough, she would see he was actually in a pouncing position. "The way you start your pounces is too obvious. If anyone sees you with your tail high in the air, they'll figure out what you are up to. However, if you crouch low like I am, you can actually move quicker, und less people expect it." He decided to prove his point. He eyed an unsuspecting grass hopper and shifted so that to anyone not immediately next to him, it would look like he was settling down. Then, without warning, he lept forward with his ears laid flat against his head to make himself a little more streamline and therefore move faster and farther. He landed and easily picked up the grasshopper, but made a point not to hurt it. He turned and walked back to her before setting the poor insect who was the subject of his lesson down at her feet. "Now zhen, do you see that large pebble? Zhe shiny one? I vant you to try und do vhat I did and grab zhat pebble. Vhen you get it, bring it to me."

Freedom watched closely.
"Pebble?"
Oh the shiny thing ok she could to that. She tried to get low like he did with her ears laid back, but her butt was still a little high. A clear tell, it might take a bit before she could keep it down.

GermouserGermouser was quick to put one paw down on her back and shove her down into the right position. After all, she wasn't going to learn if she was allowed to make mistakes. "Zhere. Now try to jump forward und get zhe pebble."

Freedom"Meow" She huffed a little. She tryed to jump but having her flank down was a new position and her first pounce didn't go as far as intended. More like a hop.

She wined a little.
