Tanner followed her, after all of the soldier's were In the vehicle's, the driver's drove off toward the base.
Matthew took his helmet off before resting a hand on Nickolas' shoulder and gently pushed him down. "I'm fine." He said with a smile. "You need to stay still, your wound might reopen."

Kirin kept silent for the duration of the ride, twiddling her thumbs in her lap.
Nick muttered under his breath but listened and laid down again, remaining still. "Fine..." He was quiet for a bit, staring upwards, then turned back to Matthew with a small chuckle. "So... How are we gonna tell mom?..."

Tanner kept silent as well, but the car was full of chatting from the other solder's.
Matthew starred up at the ceiling for a moment. "Uhhh..... good question." He said before looking down at his brother. "It was my fault you got hurt, so I'll take the blame for this one okay?"

Nick raised an eyebrow, giving Matthew a "are you stupid?" look. "Yo-ou nuts? It was m-my choice, and tec-chnically, it's not either of our faults... it's the locust..." he said with a weak laugh.

Matthew laughed before wiping away some sweat from his face, he was pretty stressed out right now. Nick got hurt, Matt almost got shot himself but thankfully none of them got through, they had to fight off wave after wave of locust, and to top It all off. They barely made It out alive from the bombs. He let out a long stressful sigh and leaned back against the car wall, he closed his eyes and relaxed.

Nickolas smiled slightly at his brother before going back to staring at the ceiling as he was told to laid down for the time being. He laid there in thought for a bit before sighing quietly and shutting his eyes.

Matthew opened his eyes for a moment and glanced down at Nickolas, when he saw he had his eyes closed as we well, he did the same. He began remembering what their life was like before the locust showed up, It all seemed like a nice dream, but Matt only had nightmare's now. All he could dream about was war, killing locust, seeing other's die. It was heavy burden to carry but he was managing.

((I was just wondering If they could have a flash back of when E-Day happened, Matthew joined the COG the day after It happened, having to leave Nickolas and their parents at a safe zone. And after the flash black, they arrive at the base, get Nickolas to the ER, Matt get's his armor fixed, Kirin and Tanner can talk or something etc.))

((Sure)) ~~~~~~~~~~~=Flash Black=~~~~~~~~~~~~ Matthew opened the front door to his and Nickolas's house, they had been let out of school early today since It was a holiday. "Man, I love holidays~" He said with a smile as he took his back pack off and dropped It beside the door, he always did that. Their mother, Amy, walked out of the kitchen, her shirt, pants and hands were covered In flower. She loved making cakes and other stuff like that, plus, tomorrow was Nick's birthday. 'How was school Matthew?" She asked with a sweet and warm smile. Matt smiled at their mother. "Same as always, but they let us out early since It's a holiday, and we don't have school tomorrow." "And what about you Nickolas? How was your day?" Amy asked.

Nick just grinned and shrugged. He tossed it to the side next to Matthew's own backpack, copying his brother like he usually did. "The usual. The best news is that there's no school 'cause of the holiday. That means no school on my birthday~" He gave their mother a quick hug despite the fact she was covered in flour before trying to sneak off to the kitchen to see the cake.

Amy grabbed the back of Nick's shirt and stopped him. "I don't think so young man, you have to wait until tomorrow." She said with a giggle.
Matthew laughed before stuffing his hand's Into his pants pockets. "Come on bro, I'll let you play my PlayStation 2 for a while, any game you want."

Nickolas whined for a moment when he was unable to get into the kitchen, only to perk up when Matthew wanted to play video games. "Alright! Let's play Need for Speed again. I bet I can beat you in a race this time~" he said, already setting up the game anyways.

Amy smiled and went back Into the kitchen, she cleaned up and got dinner started.
"We'll see about that~" Matthew said with a grin, just as he was about sit down, the house began to shake violently
Their father rushed Into the living room, he told Nick and Matt to get In the kitchen and under the table.
Matt picked Nickolas us and ran Into the kitchen, their father was fight behind them. They got under the table and got as close as they could to each other. Matthew had his arms wrapped protectively around his younger brother, he was a bit scared that the house was going to cave In on them.
