Riku smiled seeing Yuki's reaction feeling that warmth again. He felt fine assuming that meant he had feelings for his best friend.

Yuki desperately wanted to say more, but knew his words would get cuaght in his throat. He thought those words over and over, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you... He couldn't help but blush and hold tight to Riku's shirt.

Riku was certain Yuki really cared for him because of their history together and how he made what happened before his incident sound so important. He wasn't sure if should wait until after he remembers that night to say that he loves him.

Yuki felt his feelings starting to bubble over. He tried to sallow them back down but a faint," I love you" escaped his lips and he clung tighter to Riku, hoping he didn't hear.

"Huh, I didn't quite catch that Yu-chan" said Riku knowing Yuki had said something, but he wasn't really paying attention at the time.

Yuki couldn't stop his mouth before he repeated," I love you."
His eyes flashed open and his blush deepened after he realized what he had said.

The feeling of shock washed over Riku's body when he heard the words then warmth making him blush. He knew he should respond in some way. "Um..." suddenly feeling nervous now and his mind bombarded him with commands on what to say in this situation. He decided to use actions instead of words and the response was him kissing Yuki on the lips.

Yuki was shocked at first, but melted into the kiss. He gripped Riku's shirt until he could feel his fingernail digging into his plams and his knuckles turned white.

Riku thought of this as a way to make it up for that kiss he ruined earlier. He noticed that Yuki yielded to the kiss then he pulled after a long moment to breath.

Yuki smiled a little, his face now bright red. He released his grip on Riku's shirt and looked down at his hands with embrassment.

Riku was glad to see Yuki smiling and his face being bright red. He didn't at all odd that he kissed his best friend like that. He hoped though this doesn't turn into a awkard moment now.

Yuki's heart would slow for anything. ba-bump ba-bump ba-bump He stole a glance at his friend and wondered what that made them. Best friends wouldn't describe them at all. Would it be, a couple?

"So does this mean that we're more than best friends? Like a couple or lovers?" asked Riku still not removing his arm off of Yuki's back.

Riku smiled at that response thinking they must have been a couple recently before his memory loss. His body seemed to know what to feel and do before his mind comprehend and catch up with reality. "Excellent" he said happily.
