Charlie had managed to be pretty quiet since the table flipping happened earlier with Christof. He was being good and keeping to him self mostly and ... playing with his goggles. OH MAN GOGGLES WHERE SO COOL! The straps made SNAPPING NOISES! WHAT!? WHAT WAS THIS!?
Even as class started the demon continued to play with his goggles. A very faint snapping noise could be heard as the class was explained.

Well, now it was time to get to work. Ugh. Work. Ugh. SO MUCH WORK. The demon grabbed a few parts at random and just stared at them for a moment. Take one piece, wadded up chewed gum, five paper clips and a whole bunch of random other parts. Charlie worked so fast, and messily, on the thing it was a wonder when he was quote on quote done.
Only it didn't LOOK done. Pretty much Charlie had a heaping pile of junk with a chip and a blinking light. The blinking light went on and off in a way as if to say 'KILL ME KILL ME'.
But no. A robotic arm reached out from the pile and started to work metal this way and that and in a matter of minutes, Charlie had a top of the line robot. (( hp 9 Bludgeoning Device ))

Raziel was just about to sit down when Bea called out to him, telling him to come sit by her. Since he knew no one else that was nearby him, he gladly obliged, quickly moving to take the open seat before anyone else beat him to it.
"Hey Bea, how a-" he started but was unable to finish as there was a loud noise that rang through the room as the patchwork who appeared to be teaching the class used a foghorn to quiet everyone down. He stopped attempting to talk and instead watched the strange boil in the front of the room. Luckily Barth stepped in and translated the random waving into a short bit of information.
Once they were told to start building their robots, Raziel was quick to reach the pile of stuff at the front of the room. He grabbed a pitchfork, some wheels and motors and various other small parts and pieces. This class was already turning out to be suited to him. Taking his treasures back to his desk, he laid the things out neatly.
Step one, build the main frame of the robot. For that, he screwed several pieces of thick wood together, making a box. He then attached hinged to one side of the box and another piece of wood so that it had a lid that opened. Before placing in the motors, Raziel cut holes for the motor shafts to stick out of, and for the arm of the pitchfork to swing up and down through. He placed the motors in the box and secured them tightly, then added the wheels onto the shafts. Next was the pitchfork, which stuck mightily out of the front of the robot and would slide under another robot and with an easy upward motion, actuated by a piston, toss its victim into the air. After putting all these things together, Raziel closed his box and sat watching the others. He was proud of what he had done and couldn't wait to see how it fared against the other robots in the room. An interesting grin could be seen across his face.

Ah- it looked like class was about to begin. The room was pretty full now and, aside from the antics of some of her peers, the students were ready for some action. Levi watched as the hunchback finished collecting up all the names, diddledaddling somewhat and then went full on into teaching-mode. Only what was that he was picking up off the des- HER EARS STUCK STRAIGHT UP.
After the shock of the foghorn, she hissed low at being caught off guard like that, but had to raise a brow in curiosity as to what exactly that device was.
The lesson begun. Or at least, Levi figured he'd begun teaching when the pieces of junk were being compiled together to make something. That or the hunchback wasn't feeling too well; his dance was all very sporadic. Was this dancing part of the lesson? Should she get up and try the moves herself? It was easier to learn that way.
Then the sleepy one awoke, still looking a little less than ready for a class. Yep. This wasn't just a momentary sluggishness as she'd first thought- he always appeared this way. Compared to the long interpretive dance, the sleepy boil began using actual words to convey the course agenda. There wasn't much to it by the sound of it; pick up some items from the pile and try to build something. Many of the students took to it quite easily and were building... figure things.

Malodore blinked at the sudden blast of noise, then at the rapid flurry of hand gestures from Christof. It was getting fairly good at interpreting the sign language, but this was too much even for it. Thankfully, Barth summarized everything neatly, and the plague doctor selected a few parts.
On checking the 'weapon' it had been given, it realized the thing was a... 'flipper'? Hrm. Well, there was only one thing it knew that was an expert flipper. Malodore began assembling as best it could, trying to be as anatomically correct as it could manage, given the parts on hand. Something vaguely round became a skull; a metal cage became ribs, and so on. The flipper made the arms, naturally.
When it was done, Malodore had a... er... well, a rough semblance of a person. Very rough. Maybe it looked like a person if you tilted your head and squinted? To complete the ensemble it tied a little strip of pink plastic atop the rotund head.
There. Desubot. Best flipper around. Watch out, tables!

Taryn watched the lecture with the horrified curiosity of someone who had never seen Christof 'speak'. She had absolutely no idea what was going on until the sloth demon spoke... oh, hey. That was the boil she'd met over the punch bowl, wasn't it? Huh. He hadn't seemed like the very most determined person in the world. Maybe he'd been tricked into working on this class.
When she approached the pile of junk, she remembered just how little she knew about engineering. She'd have to find something that already moved to build the base, because she'd have absolutely no idea how to properly connect a motor. Sifting through what was left, she pulled out a sphere that she was pretty certain she recognized from the minipet store. It was a lighted ball inside a more or less stationary sphere that rolled around in relation to a small remote control... that was it. A rolling ball was more stable than a couple of wheels, wasn't it? Now, for a weapon... a ball was going to roll faster than most (right?), so she'd might as well capitalize on its ramming speed. She grabbed a board and a hammer, taking it all back to her desk and working diligently.
First she hammered a series of nails into the board to create a jagged, dangerous surface. She retreated for a power drill then and, terrified for her life, screwed the board into the cat toy in 4 places. No, no, that still didn't look very stable. Spotting some of the flung rubber bands around the floor, she collected a few and strapped them all the way around the device.
...oh, this was going to be terrible.

Lizzy jumped the at the loud sound from the foghorn - if Christof wanted her attention, he certainly had it now. She tried her best to pay attention, but the movement of his hands only served to confuse her, the baffled expression on her face soon growing into a small frown which gradually turned into a not-so-small frown... Until Barth spoke, anyway.
She rubbed her hands together, staring at the pile of materials they had been provided with as she pulled the goggles down, over her eyes as they had been instructed. The gears in her head started to turn as she built a robot in her mind...
... Too bad it ended up looking like a smaller pile of materials rather than something that could move.
She decided to stand there with her tools with an expression that screamed "HALP ME" as she looked around; she was usually good with her hands, but building something that moves...? Ugh...

Was the igor having an epileptic fit or something? Nahm stared. Oh. Sign language. Heh. Okay then.
He scooped up an armful of materials and brought them back to his desk, frowning at them. What could he make out of this? A box became the base, a pair of old chopsticks and some tape spools could be wheels. A handful of rubber bands got twisted around a stick and duct taped in place to serve as some form of rudimentary propulsion system. A shoe would serve as something to smack into other "robots" with, if taped down securely. Maybe. Nahm added a couple of staples around the edges of the shoe to secure it more tightly. Now, though, it was front-heavy. Old cans and plenty of duct tape went onto the back of it to keep it from falling over.
... Eh. That'd do.
It could stand a little more decoration, though. He wrapped it in duct tape, taking care to get every bit of the robot covered. Shoddy construction? Who cared? His robot had DUCT TAPE.

As goggles were flung at Israfel, he grinned at Riley, putting them over his face and wincing as a strap snapped one of his ears wings. While it didn't ruffle his feathers it certainly stung, and was a rather snug fit. Jericho's wave had the -now safe from whatever it was that would probably attack them- siren beaming. His flight mentor was about to be subjected to a fit of Israfel's running up and showing just how much his wings had grown. Soon enough, his wings would be fully adult, and so would he! Israfel could hardly wait. Well actually he could given his voice was still a bit odd.
Bea's comment however, did make Israfel chuckle. "Oh did it turn into a miniature naiad? Yeah, they do that sometimes. It's okay though, they're pretty harmless and just like to eat really tiny fish. Itty bitty ones. The one in my dorm, Mutio? She's a bit shy but very nice. Oh, and sometimes they sing too! It's a very pretty sound." Eyes closed as he took a moment to hum the tune before the air horn jogged him, grabbing his attention.
Make things? Er, well, this would be..interesting. Picking and prodding at the parts, Israfel gave several sighs of contempt. He wanted something that could sew. But what he got was just a simple machine. It lifted things. Hardly useful to him. Still it looked sturdy. Not easy to break and it worked. Good enough.

The tatzel strolled over to the pile and narrowed her eyes this way and that into the nooks and compiled bits all rattling together. What caught her eye most was the shine of sleet metallic sheets. Slightly banged up and a little thinner than she'd like ( was this the type meant for wrapping leftovers in?), she figured they were still a good start. Back home, her Uncle had attempted to fix random tools and equipment around the barn from time to time, and that gave her a mild idea of what items fit into what items. Now- whether or not her compiled items would create something that moved...well, that was another case. Levi certainly wasn't the one to talk to about circuits or wiring. Noticing a certain demoness in distress, Levi took her chosen junk over to the ghoul's desk and smiled. Aye, Lizzy. Mind if'I build right 'long side ya? She took the ghoul's expression of urgency and pleading in a positive acceptance of her proposed building beside one another. Messily tucking back the ends of her hair into the strap of her goggles, Levi took to smoothing out her sheets of metal. Using a cylindrical object from the pile, she rolled in over the sheets till she was satisfied. This would be the easier part, she thought. Folding and joining pieces, the tatzel was able to make a framing for her device. Peering around at the other students gave her ideas of what was to be done, and she liked the thought of a wide pan of some sort being used out front like...well, like it could flip something. Memories of open house and a certain stand keeper came to mind when the final framing was complete. Now- she just had to build the insides... makin' 'em move, eh? Alrighty- figure...if mines gonna have this sorta bit... it'll flip something'. She tapped her chin in thought and looked to Lizzy to see what she'd had thought out already. Need a hand there, screecheart? Indeed, Lizzy looked like she needed it. It wasn't much, but the tatzel would try to help with what she could while she figured out her own mechanics.

It'd taken Willow longer than some to make hers she was playing with parts and taking her time really adjusting pieces that didn't look like they were in the right place to other places. Eventually she had a fairly decent robot made. It wasn't the bestest ever robot, but for what she had to work with and practically no knowledge of the topic she'd done pretty good job just putting it together.
Her tail flickered, hopefully it worked as well as it looked.

His lack of reaction might have suggested that West hadn't seen Demi's little one finger salute, but oh no. He had seen it just fine. What had saved the hellhound from immediate retaliation was the presence of Christof, of all creatures. West had seen the other boil several times in various classes since his upgrades, but he hadn't taken much note of them until now. He thought it was kind of shame that he couldn't add stronger parts to his own body, until he remembered that he would have had to have been a patchwork to do so. Thanks, but no thanks. The demon was fairly well prepared for the blast of the foghorn, considering he was glaring at the boil who was responsible for it. He smirked as several students winced or shouted, the smirk widening into a grin at Damien's reaction. West stretched his goggles around his horns, over his head, and settled them around his neck before retrieving some random parts and glue. He brought his scraps over to a desk near Demi's and dropped them from quite a height, watching the boil as the pieces clattered noisily to a stop. He took a seat, randomly shoving metal and plastic together until his crappy robot was standing on its own. The glue he had used was still wet and his creation began to slide apart moments after he set it upright, but he didn't care. West narrowed his eyes at Demi, the smirk still on his lips. "You mad?"(( 7 HP RAMMAH ))

(Flipper that is poorly made [2]; HP = 7) Hel had dragged Mot to the nearest available desk space for the both of them, and greeted which ever of her friends happened to address her. When class seemed to start, the valkyrie watched the igor at the front of the class with excitement and interest, but when he appeared to be having a seizure, her expression faltered and she kept glancing at the cowboil with concern until Barth spoke up. Oh! Okay! When they were free to start building, Hel snapped her goggles over her eyes with a grin and looked over at Mot. “ I dare you to put a cowboil hat on yours.” She challenged, flicking the rim of his hat before sliding from her seat and collecting some parts from the heap. Sitting back down with the items she collected, Hel looked them over for a long time before starting. She had…no idea how robotics work, and honestly the only thing that suddenly sprang to mind while building was a Viking ship, more like the front of one, actually! After tinkering (and using a lot of tape), the valkyrie leaned back to admire her little robot. Huh. Well, honestly she wasn’t quite sure what to make of it, especially since a spring suddenly popped out along with a few bolts here and there but…uh…A for effort in appearance? She thought it looked cool.

Hearing Barth describe the class as an absolute potpourri of madness only made Bul sneer from his desk delightfully. Madness? This was fantastic! What better than to have a class where anything could happen that Bul would WANT to happen. Very doubtful that Barth or Christof would eat him, the boil felt safe discounting the fact that his peers may be an unsafe mix of juveniles. But then again that was pretty much what they were.
Waiting for the crowd around the supplies to disperse lest he risk his tail getting stomped on, Bul approached to begin developing his device. Much like his boat development in Savage's class Bul worked carefully and meticulously to make his contraption even better than the very seaworthy, toy boat.
It was a good thing he was wearing goggles as shrapnel from cramming a dowel in came flying into the plastic shield. Instead of wincing the half beast chuckled and began to laugh madly from his desk.
All these other fools didn't know what they were getting into. To say he was unfamiliar with his creative side might've been right if it weren't for the fact that he tried every little possible way to meld the gathered supplies together even if parts of it were pure aesthetics. Finally he peered up triumphantly from his creation to see just how foolish the others were then froze when he saw how impressive the rest of them were.
Pouting, Bul hunched over his Rammer creation thingy and huggled it protectively. "It's okay... I like you best... trust me. None of these jokers know about us," he whispered to it grudgingly of the class.

(( 3 = Rammer / 2 = Poorly Made / HP = 7 ))Mot never had much of a problem with a ghoul dragging him anywhere. This day was no different. if Hel wanted him to sit with her he was very much happy to go along with it. The class started, or at least he figured it did. The fog horn and seizure teaching seemed to indicate such. Mot turned to Hel and shrugged. Whether the flailing meant anything he wasn't sure. Lucky for them all, Barth translated rather nicely. And then the fun part. He grinned at Hel's suggestion, snapping the goggles on top of his hat. "Will do." Mot got up as Hel did to grab selected parts, gleefully returning to his desk to create with his neighbor. His main concern had been to make the robot visually appealing, and never consididered mechanics. Whether it would hold up in actual battle was uncertain. "Hey Hel! I forgot the hat.... BUT I gave it a cowpusher."
