Symphony turned her head to look at her husband. "It's late babe, even later back home, mother had a long flight here. She said she wanted a bed. Besides, you'll have plenty of time to talk to her the whole time she is here." It was now her turn to bury her face in her pillow for a long moment. She turned again to look at him. "If she says strange things, or stuff that doesn't make any sense. I am apologizing now. For I fear she might weird you out."

Giving in to the pretty woman's begs he crawled back into the back seat. "Hum." He said taking his cookie and listening to what hers said. "Take all advances offered." He read his popping the cookie pieces into his mouth and smirked "in bed."

Alvin laughed. "Oh yeah, tomorrow is going to be fun." He leaned back onto the couch and stretched, his spine cracking in a few places. "I bet she'll end up quitting. She doesn't seem like the type to handle one nighteres too well."

Ricky shrugged, "It's alright, my folks are a bit odd too. It happens." He laid back down on the bed, "It helps to explain us." He reached out his arms and silently beckoned her over.

Kitty only widened her eyes and seemed impressed by his fortune cookie, "Isn't that odd?" She shrugged, "So, you think you're getting a promotion some time soon, or, I don't know- what do you think it means?"

"What would you know about how people handle one nighters?" Gabby stood stretching.

Symphony sighed and slid over to him, making herself comfortable. "But I don't think your parents are as weird as my mother. You know she wont tell me who my father is? She knows. But she wont tell me." Symphony felt the need to be close as possible, like most of the times she was with him, it helped her to transfer youth and longevity into his body more directly. Sliding her legs between his, she began work on rejuvenating him for the night.

Well she was about as much interested as he was. "Oh some thing with this seat." Nick said leaning in slowly and lightly grabbing her back of her head, as he pressed his lips to hers.

Alvin looked over at the other person. "Nothing much. But she just isn't the type." he stood to and walked to the door looking for his shoes. Or had he come over barefoot, oh he couldn't remember.

Ricky smiled lightly but kept his eyes closed, "Mm baby, you don't believe in sleep, do you?" He finally opened his eyes and sighed, "Maybe she really doesn't know who your father is but she doesn't want to admit it to you. Or maybe she'd prefer not to think about him."

Oh this had been a good idea after all. Kitty was glad she got there when she did, otherwise he might have already left. Didn't matter now though, and lucky her, not only had she gotten out of a ticket, now she got to ******** the hot cop. Cool. She kissed him back happily, wrapping one arm around his neck and using the other to start working that uniform off of him.

"They're over there." Gabby pointed to the man's shoes. It wasn't hard to tell what he was looking for, but the devil would know anyhow. "See you in the morning." He then walked off to his bedroom and shut the door.

Euterpe awoke bring and early, only to find she wasn't the only one up. Her daughter was out in the kitchen making breakfast already. "Good morning child."
"Morning mother." Symphony turned over another pancake. "Take as many as you like."
"I would rather talk about the fact your husband knows nothing of you." Euterpe said taking a seat at the dinner table. "I can't believe you would do this."
Symphony turned quickly to hush her mother. "He could be awake. Shhh!" She hissed. "I plan to tell him. Just, well he stresses really easy, and I didn't want to do that to him."

Nick awakened with his alarm clock. Swatting at it a couple of times he finally managed to hit the snooze button and roll back over. Only then did his mind come alive enough to remember he had an attractive young lady in his bed. Smiling he moved in to spoon her back and wrap a protective arm around her. It all ways amazed him how a female body fit so perfectly to a man's.

Savannah woke up on time, took another hot shower. And got dressed. She sat in her little kitchen, made coffee ate cereal, washed her dish, then headed down stairs and to the gym.

Gabby had been awake long before he was needed at the gym, he needed all of the time to shower, pick an outfit, do his hair and his makeup. Hello, he had to be perfect. He also gave himself enough time to enjoy half of his coffee before he was downstairs with a few of the others slowly collecting together. He took a seat where he had been the day before and kicked his feet up onto the table.
"Feet of the damned table." Of course Kasey had just happened by, and he had his sisters with him as well. They weren't saying much, neither of them really looked happy to be awake.
Gabby rolled his eyes and took his feet off of the table. Whatever, he'd do it when Kasey wasn't looking.
Jesse took a seat beside Gabby, still rubbing the sleep from his eyes. He immediately put his head down on the table and groaned, "This sucks. I want to sleep in."
Gabby seemed a bit confused, "Can't you just stop time and sleep all you want?"
Jesse scoffed, "I wish. I can only stop it consciously, unfortunately, otherwise I'd never waste another minute sleeping again."

Kitty awoke to a strange alarm going off, silencing, then a body pressed against hers. Then she remembered spending the night at that cop's place. Oh yeah. She smiled to herself, lucky she wasn't facing him. She lay there for another minute or so thinking about a great end to a rather boring day. A day that she was supposed to repeat today. Her eyes shot open. s**t. She sat up and looked over at his clock. Oh s**t, she had about five minutes to get there, and she couldn't called Jesse over or she'd have to explain the sudden disappearance to the human. God damn she really wished she was normal sometimes. "s**t."she rubbed her temples for a moment before pushing her hair out of her face, "Ugh, work." She turned to look at the man beside her, "Hey cowboy, you up? I have to leave or my demon of a boss will make me mop the halls or some s**t." It was then that she got an idea, "Of course, if you were up to it, you could take me there in your fancy car with the lights on, and I wouldn't be nearly as late."

Savannah took her seat at the table from the day before. She wasn't fully awake yet. But the conversation going on at the table was one she could add to. Best to act normal. "So. I would stay awake, stop time, then go back to sleep." She said laying her head down on the table.
Alvin came in next. Taking a seat at the table. "Morning." Alvin was one of those people who needed little sleep. And what sleep he had gotten that night had been more then enough to energize him fully.

Nick had just been about to roll back over and pass back out. If the girl wanted to leave before he woke up that was fine. But she wanted a escort to work. Eh, since he was the cause of her lateness, he could do it.
Sitting up he rubbed his eyes and got out of bed. "Sure thing."

Cadence came into the kitchen, over hearing her mother's conversation. "So you're my grandma?" She asked taking a seat at the table. "cool."
"Yes. I am." Euterpe said looking at the girl. "And you are the little hell child that is my granddaughter."
"Hell child?" Cadence asked, upset already in her voice.

Gabby glared at the peppy fairy for an extended moment before he threw his empty Styrofoam coffee cup at him. "Go to hell."
"It doesn't work." Jesse was trying not to laugh at the only person who seemed more tired than himself, "Are you alright there?"
"Hate to interrupt the fun, ladies, but where in the world is your green friend?" Kasey approached the table where it seemed Savannah was trying to sleep. Not on his watch.

Kitty quickly climbed out of bed and got dressed. Her hair was a mess, yay, so she combed it back with her fingers and tied it up as quickly as possible. Once dressed, and while Nick was still in the middle of it, she ran over to him to give him a quick kiss, "Thank you!" She then ventured out of the room to find her shoes, slipped them on and noticed her car out the window. She shrugged, she could just leave it here, it'd be an excuse to see him again, right? And that wasn't so bad. She smiled to herself before checking his room again, "You ready?"

"Hell child, I think she said it right." Ricky was last to enter the kitchen, "Good morning ladies." He approached his wife first to give her a quick kiss on the cheek, "How'd you sleep, babe?"

Savannah turned her head to glare "We are not her zoo keepers." She wouldn't bother to raise her head off the table. Her night had been too long.
Bengali came up to join the group. "Good morning everyone!" She said wide awake. "Good morning Dr.Kasey. Hope you had a restful night. Oh and of course the same for you Savannah." She said with a smile knowing full well the two had slept together at some point yesterday.
"You're just pissy Gabby, probably because you started your period." Alvin ignored the vampire. After all that man hadn't been the one to throw a cup at him.

Nick only bothered whit shorts and a tank top. "Come on. Lets get you to work." He said grabbing the police car keys. On he way to the door he slid on in flip-flops, something he only wore when he was in a hurry like today. Nick made it out to the car and unlocked it, starting it up he waited for the women to get in. He checked his mirrors and noticed her car would be left here. He would have to get it back to her some how.

Symphony smiled "Wonderful, how about yourself, feeling alright?" She asked almost every morning. It was more of a reassurance that she had done a good job charging him up during the night.
Euterpe answered for him. "He should feel great, getting such a pretty girl to share his bed every night." She reached for a plate and stabbed a couple of pancakes and placed them before her. "Back home, Symphony had a couple of marriage proposals before she left. You're a lucky man you know that?"
"Mother please. Will you stop it already?" Symphony turned her back to her mother and pulled the last batch of pancakes off the stove and placed them on the serving platter.
Cadence looked like she had caught onto something. "So what was mom like when she was my age?"
"A bit of a wild child. Until she finally deiced to come here to America to pursue the job our family is good at. You know. The arts, music, poetry, stories." Euterpe shrugged and poured on some syrup.

"Shut up, f*****t." Gabby growled. He turned up to look at Kasey, "Why would we know where she was? I thought keeping up with the females on staff was your job. Wait, I mean keeping up for."
"Cute." Kasey didn't seem impressed by his comment, or Bengali's. "I'd like to get started. Someone find your friend. For every minute she is late, we'll have another twenty minutes, just you lot and me, to discuss my expectations tonight, instead of sleep." He ended it walking away and reiterating, "Find her."
"I knew it was never good to get cliquey." Jesse muttered putting his own head down, "I need new friends."
"That ******** b***h better be on her way." Gabby pulled out his phone to text as fast as his fingers could tap across the screen.

"Thank you thank you thank you." Kitty repeated all the way out the door and as she climbed in to the passenger's seat. "I owe you one." She pulled out her phone as she closed the door and opened the text from Gabby with the details. The only thing she could do was make a guilty face and text him back.

"Did she get into trouble a lot?" Ricky sat down at the table with his mother-in-law and daughter, "She seems like she was a trouble maker. I mean, Cady had to get it from somewhere, and it certainly wasn't me."

Savannah groaned loudly. "Jesus ******** Christ. If she is late because she hunted down that police officer. I might kill her."
Bengali laughed. "Oh she went out to get laid? That's funny."
Alvin didn't look amused. "I hope she gets here, and quick."

Soon as the passenger door was shut, Nick backed out and switched on the lights and sirens and took off down the road. When he hit the open highway he pushed ninety miles an hour the whole way there. Nick could drive, he had been in more then one police chase, and knew has to work through what little traffic didn't move out of his way. "You said you worked at that boarding school right?" He asked making sure he was going the right way.

Symphony groaned. "Can we not do this?"
Euterpe laughed. "Oh yes, a big trouble maker." She cut off a piece of the pancakes, and took a bite. "At least your cooking has gotten better." She swallowed. "The point is, she got into trouble all the time, not just by me, but her aunts, and other family members. She got into everything. Even got arrested once."
"Mother please!" Symphony dropped the serving plate onto the table and gave her mother a nasty look.
"Oh did she ever tell you about when she was fifteen and decided she was going to live out on a boat by herself? She got a boat. I am sure she stole it, and just rode out to see, she was gone for a total of like five days." Euterpe laughed. "A storm blew through sunk the boat she was on, and she came back home looking like a drowned rat."
Cadence looked at her mother. "You can never say I am that bad."

Gabby opened the text from the extraterrestrial and read it to the table, "On my way. Be there asap. Sorry I underestimated-" Gabby stopped to look up and see that Kasey had come back to find out where she was. He then remembered who he was and opted to not give a ********. He finished reading the text, "how much of a d**k the new HM is. Won't happen again."
"Poetic. I liked it personally." Kasey nodded, "Still, she's at two minutes. You'd better hope she hurries."
Jesse sighed, "I'd go get her, but she's probably with a normal human. Then we'd have bigger problems."
"Pity." Kasey obviously didn't care about spending his own time in a meeting of extended hours like the others did.

Kitty nodded, "Yeah, right by the front entrance too. I'm really sorry you have to do this. I promise I'll make it up to you." She was completely unaffected by driving as fast and recklessly as Nick was driving, as that's how she normally drove herself.

"Sounds like someone had fun." Ricky laughed. He turned to his daughter, "But that doesn't give you any excuse to misbehave, so don't think it does."

Savannah groaned and lightly tapped her head to the desk, mocking beating her head in. "If she doesn't make it here in time. I will kill her."
Bengali got a wicked grin. "Doctor Kasey, since it's clear you like Savannah's company, can she take handle our time for us?"
Savannah's head shot up to glare at the four armed women.
"What?" She asked not understanding why the girl was so embarrassed. "She could be your little slave or something like that. Make her work off that time Kitty earns us all."

Nick made it to the school with out a crash. "Alright toots. I'll catch you later." He leaned in to steal a kiss before sitting back into his chair. "You can pay me back later."

Cadence turned to look at her mother "How did you get back if you were shipwrecked out in the ocean?" She asked ignoring her father. "Some other sailor rescue you?"
Euterpe answered "No she said she ran into a mermaid and asked her to giver her a ride back to the shore"
"I strapped two sea turtles to me feet. I told you the mermaid was a joke." Symphony said, yes it was a pirates reference. If she made up another story, maybe Ricky would just laugh and not question why her mother had answered with such a straight face.
"Oh well your mother was a wild child, not a whore. I actually thought she was a lesbian for a long time, she never was interested in men." Euterpe said looking at Cadence. "So you can't judge her, you're young and already trying to sleep with a man, at your age you have no right to be even in the same bedroom with a boy."
Cadence huffed and grabbed herself some pancakes. "So how did mom get arrested?" she would just get the subject off of her.
"Oh! Your mother decided she was going to be a bank robber." Euterpe turned to Ricky. "I am surprised you didn't hear more about her life. It's almost like you don't know the real Symphony." She said the last words and turned to stare down her daughter.

"And you can pick me up around six so I can pick up my car." Kitty smiled. She leaned in for another kiss before she leapt out of the car and snatched up her purse, running for the entrance. She made it to the gym, bursting through the doors with a bit more emphasis than she probably needed, "I'm here y'all!"
Kasey checked his watch, "Only twelve minutes late. That's let's see, two hundred and forty minutes - only four hours extra!" He feigned happiness, "Get excited everyone! Four more hours with my pretty face."
"Kasey, it's my fault. I forgot to set an alarm. Don't punish them for my mistake." Kitty tried to approach him alone, but Kasey had a tendency to make it everyone's problem.
"We're a family though." Kasey feigned shock, "You don't think your family would want to stick with you through your punishment?"
"Hell no!" Gabby answered for everyone.
"Fine. You guys can make it up this weekend on your day off instead of tonight. Look at me being the good guy." He winked and walked off.

"Yes thank you! See? Much too young." Ricky was shaking his head at his daughter, "Bur robbing banks, huh? That's pretty insane baby. You never told me that."

Nick drove off rolling his eyes. Fully intending to go back to bed. He didn't have to work. So he could make the drive back at six an pick her up.

Alvin groaned in time with Savannah. "Just ******** great." Alvin sunk back into his chair to sulk. He had plans, not with a person, but with his projects recently abandoned.
Bengali rolled her eyes. "Oh come on guys, we have a secret weapon. We can just have Savannah go ******** his brains out and maybe he'll let us all off the hook."

"There are alot of things I think she seemed to forgot to tell you." Euterpe said forking another bite of pancakes.
"It was a stupid mistake and luckily I was forgiven." Symphony said taking a empty seat next to Ricky.
"She was mad at me because she hadn't done her chores and I refused to give her and allowance. So she decided to go get some." Euterpe chewed then swallowed and cut off another bite. "Go ahead, tell him how much money you took off with."
"No." Symphony said angry at her mother.
"I think it translates to about two hundred thousand in American dollars."
"s**t mom!" Cadence stared at her mother like she had grown a second head.
