as the count begins, Jarel vaguely wonders why there is a count in an extreme federation, but it spurs him to move. not at first, as he's gathering his energy to move again. but as the ref reaches a count of seven, Jarel sits up and the crowd begins to cheer. Slowly, the Dragon begins to push himself to his feet

Landry grabs the turnbuckle, using it to crawl to his feet as he sees Jarel begin to stir, though he finds himself slumping against the corner post as soon as he's back at a vertical base.

now on his feet, jarel moves towards landry, slowly at first. but the last few steps he attempts to speed up and attempt a splash against the turnbuckle

Jarel's massive frame is beginning to hinder his movements, and that gave Landry the window he needed to move out of the way of the splash, leaving Jarel with nothing but turnbuckle. He would try to get behind his opponent and signal with the cut throat again, before attempting the American Neck-Tie one more time!

Jarel has been recipient to this move once already, so when Landry grabs his left arm, Jarel knows he can't afford to get hit with it again, despite having just hit the turnbuckle. As such, he turns himself towards Landry early, looking to use his free right arm to shove Landry off him

Landry was shoved off and wasn't about to let the momentum swing in Jarel's favor, and so he telegraphed his next move, hooking his arm out in front of him telling Jarel that if he came forward, he'd break his heart.

Jarel in turn makes a quick cutthroat gesture, letting landry know he intends to plant him

Landry mimics the gesture with a smile, instead of across his throat, he brings the thumb across his heart like in the old days.

as Landry is mimicking him, Jarel goes to boot him in the face. If connected, he'd look down at him and say "I warned you."

The boot lays Landry out, causing him to tumble across the canvas.

Jarel now reaches down and goes to pull Landry up again, then toss him into the corner. Should this be successful, Jarel would attempt to once again pummel him in the corner with lefts and rights

Landry knew he couldn't allow Jarel to beat on him like a punching bag all night long, and so he decided to muster enough strength to fight back, firing off a stiff elbow aimed at the head.

Jarel is clocked with the elbow, snapping his head to one side. Jarel looks to retaliate with a hard kick to the gut

Landry is doubled over by the shot to the gut, but still ordered his body to fight back, snapping over a stiff round kick aimed at Jarel's left leg.

Jarel stumbles back a step as he's hit with the kick, and like Landry orders himself to fight back. in his case, however, he's throwing an uppercut at landry's jaw
