Lena saw that Tobias was looking back around know when he heard her voice calling out to him. He couldn't see her, she assumed.

She went to raise her arm and call out to him, but one of the security guards gently placed his hand on her arm and lowered it.

"Miss Auer, that is not a wise thing to do. He is a captain that just returned from a battle. He must be very busy and have reports to write, men to talk with. Perhaps if we come back another time, he may have a little more free time to speak with you."

Lena looked at her security guard for a few moments as he spoke and weighed what he had to say. Realizing that he was most certainly right, she let her hand drop back down to her side and nodded at him.

"You are right, Samuel."

{{Not sure how to respond. It's okay if your character would head to the cafeteria. Maybe someone else will happen along into the hangar. smile }}

{{Okay. Normally the security guards wouldn't let her, but if someone starts talking to them, she could get away and talk with him.}}

Lena heard Tobias say that he was going to go eat instead of debriefing his fellow officers. She turned her head and saw that the same guard that she had first spoken with was speaking with her security guards. They weren't looking at her now.

So, Lena turned back toward Tobias and slipped silently in between her guards. She went up to Tobias and nodded politely with a smile on her face.

"Good evening, Mr. Winters. It's good to see you again."

Lena curtsied and then waited until the people around Tobias left before responding.

"I had left a few weeks ago, Mr. Winters, and have now come back. These Storm Sworders are very interesting, and I'd love to talk with some pilots about them. Though, I would never want to disturb you or your men."

Lena looked confused for a moment when he mentioned someone named Hellfire, but she just shrugged it off and continued with their conversation.

"Thank you very much, Mr. Winters. I know that you were headed to the cafeteria, though. If you wouldn't mind, I could go there with you and ask you questions then. I don't want to keep you from your meal."

{{Ah. Let me know when some people have joined and the story has started. I'll look it over. smile }}

Lena smiled and nodded. "Alright, Tobias. And I agree. Food is more important. If you can pair that with celebration, then so much the better."

She looked back at her security guards, who were actually just coming back over toward her. "I'm afraid they will have to come along as well, though they can stand toward the back in the cafeteria, as long as they can still see me."

{{lol. I'll think about it. smile And I should be able to respond faster now. I was getting chili ready to start simmering for supper tonight.}}

Lena chuckled. "Well, I have ditched them before, but that usually requires a large commotion to draw their attention away from me, and even then it doesn't always work. They've become familiar with my antics. I'm also not sure what kind of commotion you could create here in the hangar that wouldn't damage anything."

She tilted her head to the side slightly in confusion, then. "DFAC? Is that the name of your cafeteria?"

Lena chuckled. "Well, I meant that in order to cause a distraction that would pull the attention off of my for my security guards, it'd have to be something akin to an explosion. I doubt you want an explosion to go off in your hangar. Or... sometimes a large fight that breaks out pulls their attention away."

Lena nodded and smiled at Tobias' explanation of the term. "I see. Well, Tobias, I will be pleased to go there with you, as long as you don't mind a companion while you eat. I don't want to keep you from your meal. I know you must be quite hungry after battle."
