North Carolina, USA Charlotte Wilson Freshman Charlotte pouted for a bit as she walked into the gym, the last class of the day. She still thought Arthur's last comment was a bit harsh. But oh well... she was thankful that their friend didn't get kicked out. It didn't dawn on her that she hadn't greeted the other girl that's in their class yet until she started changing out into her T-shirt, shorts, and tennis shoes. Hm, she seemed very quiet, wonder if she's shy like I was.everyone is called 'darling', "yall" is a proper noun, sweet tea is the house wine, and you never EVER disrespect your elders...

Lili oooLichtensteinFreshman / Ninth GraderLili quietly walked into the changing area of the gym for girls, feeling a little... Well, perhaps slightly nervous. She was afraid maybe some one might accidently mistake her for a guy and try to make her go into the boys changing room. Thankfully, though, no one seemed to say anything. That was a relief.
She pulled out her soccer uniform from her bag and sat it carefully on the bench before she began changing into it. She hadn't worn it since the preliminary rounds of FIFA, but thankfully it still fit perfectly. She smiled lightly as she pulled her socks up, not bothering with shin guards since, if she could find someone who wanted to play with her, she knew it wouldn't be a serious game where people might get carried away and kick the other on purpose (or "accident"). She did change into the cleats, though. Just because she wouldn't be playing any serious games didn't mean she was going to run around in her Mary Janes and risk getting them scuffed."I love to see you working hard, ...but please don't over do it. I'm worried sick about you."

North Carolina, USA Charlotte Wilson Freshman "Wow, ya look like ya ready for a tournament." she commented on Lili's uniform. Feeling like her own t-shirt was a bit plain with only one of her college team mascots, a purple and gold pirate. everyone is called 'darling', "yall" is a proper noun, sweet tea is the house wine, and you never EVER disrespect your elders...

Sealand! I know that being a High school student is hard work! Peter soon made way over to the gym, grinning as he did, in a very cocky sort of way for about half of the time until he tripped on the way there and had to act as though he was just going to jog as to recover from the almost fall. With that, he was off to the boy's changing rooms, finding a locker he could use before putting his things into it and changing into his PE uniform, a pair of shorts and a shirt that was slightly too big for him, his uniform was just sort of shoved into the locker before it was slammed shut, then he was off to see what there was to do in the gym. But I think I'm ready after the shows I've seen on it!

The small nation looked down in light embarrassment at what Charlotte said. She wasn't ashamed about wearing her country's team uniform, but it did make her nervous to think maybe she over-dressed. "U- Uh, w- well, this was, umm, the only thing I own that could work as athletic wear besides the outfit I made to match my brother's army uniform. But, yes, this is my nation's foo-- uh, soccer uniform. We still need improvement, but we wok hard in all of our games and always do what we can to prove we won't back out of a challenge. Although, admittedly, I grabbed the wrong colours. I'm wearing my Home uniform instead of away..."
She smiled, quite proud of herself for saying she always put forth effort in her games (though she did blush a little to admitting she was wearing the wrong uniform), before she turned and left the changing room to go into the actual gym where she spotted Peter had already changed. She paused for a minute before she reached up and gave a light tug to her ribbon to make sure it was tied tight into place so that way it would not fall off and get lost during the class.

North Carolina, USA Charlotte Wilson Freshman The girl smiled. "I was giving you complement. It doesn't matter which uniform you wear, I'm still a bit envious that you have something special and that looks cool." Charlotte glanced down to notice her shoe lace was untied. "I mainly play basketball and suppport NASCAR. Although I do personally preffer soccer over American Football." The southern girl followed Lili once her shoes were tied. Lili blushed and looked down as Charlotte stated that she had been complimenting her uniform. The fact that Charlotte was even a little jealous made Lili go into a sort of quiet, mouse-like state of drawing circles in the dirt and pushing the tips of her index fingers together lightly. "I, umm, I suppose I'm just not quite used to hearing many compliments from others... Th- Thank you Charlotte. I- I really like your uniform, too!" She looked up slightly to Charlotte and blushed a little harder before saying, "Umm, Charlotte... What's NASCAR?"

North Carolina, USA Charlotte Wilson Freshman Charlotte was long over her shyness with Peter and Lili. So some of her over politeness was starting to fade. "Oh NASCAR is car racing. My state holds one the biggest races in the US. We're actually thinking about changing our state's sport to racing."everyone is called 'darling', "yall" is a proper noun, sweet tea is the house wine, and you never EVER disrespect your elders...

Car racing? Huh... Lili didn't have that. Then again, with the mountains, how could she? Still, she listened to what her friend had to say. It was quite... Interesting. "I bet Ludwig and Feliciano would enjoy talking more about this NASCAR with you. Both are very well known for fast cars. Sadly, though, that's as much as I really know about the two besides what I learned from living with Ludwig a very long time ago..." Thinking back on it made Lili feel... Old. Yet, here she was, a Freshman. Then again, it had taken a long time to get recognized as an independent nation and make her mark in Europe. That said, she took no offense to being considered so young by the school system, especially since she had been home schooled until this year. This way, she had more of a chance to meet more people and learn about the other nations a little more since she did know only a little compared to what all she could know. Wasn't that why they were all here in the first place?

North Carolina, USA Charlotte Wilson Freshman Charlotte didn't recognize the names but figured they must be european countries. " I don't know much of european racing myself but I want to say it's a bit different from America's NASCAR." She would flip through channels on the TV at home and every once in a while she would come across them. "Looks like we better get ready for the gardening club." she smiled and headed to change back into her school uniform. everyone is called 'darling', "yall" is a proper noun, sweet tea is the house wine, and you never EVER disrespect your elders...
