Sebastian stared at the machine with utter suspicion. He was still bitter about his loss before- after all, he was this close to winning. Some part of him told him that it was all gypped; the crane had clearly dropped his rock before going into the slot on purpose. It was just to get you to play the game again and again so you payed more and more money.
But ... this game didn't invovle anymore. Actually, why was that? It seemed a tad odd really.
Sebastian gave in though. He waltzed over to the machine and set his hand on the control. Some part of him just had to know if it was real or fake. Was this desu girl trying to gyp him, or was there something more to it.
Carefully he maneuvered the crane over to a rock and pressed the button. He couldn't look at the results, he just couldn't. His eyes closed and he winced away from the machine. Curiosity killed the cat though. He opened them to peek at the claw.
Much to his surprise, there was a rock in it! Sebastian's jaw open as he stared with incredulity. As the claw moved its way over to the drop slot, he continued to be more and more amazed. It didn't drop his rock this time!
THUNK!
The rock was sitting there in the slot and Sebastian reached down to grab it with satisfaction. Looked like the thing wasn't really messed up! He threw the rock into his pocket and gave a silent, "yes!" to himself. He picked up the seed that clinked into the coin slot too. This floresctival wasn't bad at all!

Back again to try his luck at the crane game as it was just getting more and more frustrating on not winning at least once. But he was going to give it a try and see if his luck would change. Pushing the buttons to make the claw move to one of the rocks as this time he was just going to do it randomly to see if that would work.
See when the claw came up it didn't have anything and he just glared at the game as he was going to try over and over to see if he could win anything. Adyian left the game alone for right now as he was going to try other games.

Cervantes was back, yet again. With his bad luck, it was no wonder; clearly he was a glutton for punishment. Or failure. Really, just failure, as the experience was not ultimately so awful. Still, he approached the crane game and prepared to try, yet again. Curse those rocks for being so immoveable.

Syb couldn't help herself, she grabbed the controller of the crane, wiggling it around. Oh, which rock should she aim for--oooh, that one looked good!
She pushed the drop button. Then pushed it again, you know, just in case the first time didn't do the job.
Scrraaaaapppppe. The crane scraped loudly against the massive rock she had chosen, then went back up, leaving her empty handed.

As he dejectedly walked through the festival grounds after terrible luck with another game, Ishie came across an odd machine. He stared and stared at it, then scuttled up to give it a whirl. Seemed to be free, so there was no harm in trying. Right?
He maneuvered the crane until it hovered over a rock and then eagerly watched as it ascended towards his intended prize... only to miss.

Lizzy was attracted to the shiny machine, although the lights made her eyes hurt a little; it reminded her of those found in the arcade, where plushie had been won for her... However, she had never actually tried one of these machines herself, not having the guts to try it in front of her friend(s) in case she were to fail. Since this machine didn't cost anything to play, however, and her friends weren't around at the moment, she decided to try despite the... Odd prizes being offered.
Focusing, she drowned out the lights and sounds around her, staring through the glass at the rocks inside. She then moved the claw, using the joystick, towards a rock at the back, a frown on her face as she tried her best to make sure it was directly above her prize before pushing the button to get the claw to drop.
"Come on..." She murmured as the claw caught the rock, lifting it up. She held her breath as the shiny rock was carried to the prize chute, dreading how the claw looked like it might give way any moment. When the rock finally made its way to the prize chute, dropping down with a loud 'THUMP', she reached for it and tucked the rock into her obi for safekeeping. Just as she was about to leave, however, something else caught her eye - a seed in the coin slot.
She grinned, taking it before putting it into her purse, with the other seeds used for this festival; how lucky!

Muka's step was much lighter since he'd now a few seeds jingling around in his pocket. He was feeling a need to budget, unsure what games to compete in. His nemesis, the crane, stood there.
Oh cruel mistress.
But alas she was free so he tried his hand once more as soon as there was an opening.His attempt was pathetic. The rock he'd picked up fell right out of the crane's grip as soon as he'd gotten it an inch off the bottom.
"We shall meet again.." he murmured.

Oppa sauntered up to the crane machine with a lazy swagger. "Alright" Oppa bargained as he placed his club up against the side of the machine, "I know your just a machine, but I have ways of persuasion, annnd I'm just sayin', you don't want me to have to use them on such a fragile machine such as yourself."
Oppa again pushed the start button, and the claw started to move... only to stop, and start again, and then freeze in the middle of the machine, just hanging there to mock him.
"YOU ASKED FOR IT!" As Oppa picked up his club and swung it like a bat at the glass panel of the machine. "THUNG-UNG-UNG-NG" The club bounced back and the "glass" was spared. It was apparently some high impact plastic and it didn't even retain a scratch. Oppa swung again, and AGAIN, and finally exhausted and out of breath he went off to sit down and catch his breath.

HARD ROCK LPWillow looked at the crane game curiously approaching it after having moved quickly away from the boogy box. Her ears were still ringing, however she stopped to read the thing before pausing tilting her head and figuring well the worse thing that could happen is her not getting anything. At least it didn't cost anything. Her tail flickered as she took the controls and tried to catch a seed.
Willow watched in Shock as the crane picked up the seed and brought it over to her. Dropping it in the coin return slot. She picked out the seed staring at it. Ohhh, this was pretty.

Feeling like hot s**t, yes he was, Herryk clutched his one single shiny festival seed in his fist as he wandered from the dart booth. His eyes meandered over the crowd before he caught sight of yet another free booth.
Herryk liked free things.
Approaching the crane game with the cockiest smile on his face, Herryk mashed his finger into the start button.
The machine slowly creaked into action, but Herryk's fingers were too big for the controls and he feebly watched the claw swing around aimlessly.
Pfff. Stupid game. :T

HARD ROCK Domi'Try everything once' was Jaime's motto for the entire festival. Games of skill, games of chance, and everything that lay in between, it mattered not, for they all offered up an experience that might even mean something to him later on.
A crane game seemed almost silly for one with a fraction of the motor control and only slightly more in the hand-eye coordination department, but still he stepped up to the machine, generic with the predictable orange-and-black color scheme, pictographs scrawled across the top. Flexing his stitched fingers about as well as he could, the zombie stepped on up to the machine and grabbed the joystick.
Slowly, methodically, he lined up the claw with one of the many shining rocks hiding within... and dropped it with a press of the button.
Lo and behold, up and out came the crane, dropping for him his shiny new prize. Looks like even zombies can win at games like these, huh? Jaime smiled to himself.

FFFT. ROCKS. YOU COULD THROW THEM AT OTHER STUDENTS gift it kindly. They were pretty high quality rocks so people should feel honored that they were going to be hit gifted with a rock.
Vaith just had to make sure Xiu wasn't around. Because if she was, that'd be trouble.
But if she wasn't? Great times, man, great times.

Junko was back, she'd taken longer than she anticipated but she was back in all her glittering glory. She ignored looks she was getting from passerby, ignored the whispers and looks of disgust. She didn't ask to be covered in glitter. No one at Riley's booth had! And yet she had been...sigh. She'd take care of this later.
It was back to the crane game! She stepped up to the machine and gave it another try.

Gracie had been afar lurking for a good part of the day. She had observed that more people than usual had gotten rocks from this crane machine. Maybe the machine had good mojo today. She stopped to think if she should really do this first.. Finally, she couldn't persuade herself to do anything else first. If she didn't try, she'd just be doing something else wondering if she'd get a rock today or not. However, she was just not still having any luck. Her try today didn't even get a hold on a rock to drop before hand or anything. It was total bunk. She rolled her eyes at the machine and went off to try her luck at other stuff.

Crane game time! Striding up to the booth, Aksaja took hold of the controls and moved the joystick around wildly, trying to make the crane grab something. Seemed like being random about it wasn't the way to go, though. D'oh. Well, maybe later!
