Baihu didn't mind what his fiancee treated him like a kitten. He felt more natural in the form he was now and he liked being spoiled like so. He would stay as long in this form as long as she needed him. He liked her cheek like a kiss.

The kiss to the cheek made Vera smile, a familiar gently rough sensation. She snuggled a little closer to Baihu, waking up a bit when she curled her legs up and they went unusually far before touching some fuzzbutt. Rubbing at her eyes, Vera stared down at Baihu for a moment and flushed slightly, shaking her head. "Sorry...um, you comfortable?" she asked him, ignoring Ryuu's grumble as Vera stretched her legs out again so she wasn't crowding Baihu. The blush deepened a bit, Vera's mind apparently off her troubles enough to remember just WHAT as well as WHO was in her bed. In...her...bed. The thought of the usual meaning was the reason behind Vera's blush, and she sat up to curl her legs in Indian pose, looking at Baihu with slightly wider eyes as she debated what to do, how to be a good hostess...falling asleep wasn't an option.OoC

Baihu nodded to his fiancee as he rubbed against her and then got on his hind legs and put his front paws on her chest, right above her breast, and started to lick her a little. He then pulled back a little. "I was very comfortable." He answered with his cute body. The voice didn't match the appearance. "It's not like I can change back right now anyways." He added. He can't just do that with Vera around. It was too embarrassing even for him.

"Oh..." Vera didn't really know what to say as she looked down at Baihu and absently rubbed at the licked areas and sniffed her finger. Couldn't? He shapeshifted...clothes. That must be it. Vera looked off to the side and rolled her eyes upwards as she blushed at the thought, taking a moment and remaining silent as a picture flashed through her mind of a...um...possibility. The blush came back, and Vera gave a resigned and tired sigh as she turned her eyes the other way, still up but to the opposite side. "I have a bathrobe, if that's an issue..." Vera fell silent, then couldn't resist; she poked Baihu's nose. And smiled at him, leaning back to her side again and snuggling with Baihu. "Okay."OoC

Baihu's cat face smile. "That robe maybe a little short, but I'd love to hold you as a human." He answered her. He wanted to get out of his animal form for a while. He even felt that he was rude when he was drinking the tea the night before. He was sure that Vera didn't want to seem him that way just yet. They had to get married first. "At least I can show off my legs." He joked.

"So much for being tall like all elves..." Vera teased back, face going serious as she thought about the last time she had heard a comment about such details. Turning her head away from Baihu, Vera nuzzled his head with her nose for a moment before getting up from the bed with a last scratch to his chin. She went to her closet, and pulled out a robe he could use, her favorite of three she had, one of which truly was too short as it was from her home a few growth spurts ago. The second one, a deep rich blue-green had been from Dawn when she first moved in, the third one...that she handed Baihu...a simple red with gold trim. It was something her adoptive father had brought her last time he had visited Vera at the school. This one she stuck next to Baihu before leaving the room so he could have some privacy, aiming a last sad smile at him before heading to the kitchen to cook something to eat.OoC
(I had thought it was the same day, but I'm taking it you made it the next morning?)

Once Vera had left the room Baihu changed back. The first thing that returned was his color and hair, followed by his form. The last to disappear was his tail and ears. The naked man then covered himself with a robe. Once he sure nothing, that Vera didn't want to see, was showing he walked out of the room. He noticed her right away. "What was with that sad smile? Are you going to miss me as a cat?" He teased her a little He then leaned a bit and kissed her forehead. He let out a chuckle. ((Well she fall asleep and I thought... well you know I don't know what she's doing so you can make her facing anyway you want.))

Yawning, Vera worked on fixing some pancakes for breakfast, feeling still kind of drained from the events the day and night before. She turned when she felt someone close, and got a kiss to the forehead. Vera gave a small snort, giving Baihu a small smile although her eyes still seemed tired. "Don't you just wish, that I will miss you period," she teased back, laying a finger to his lips for a single moment, light as a butterfly's touch. She turned back to the pancakes, the cooking going quicker thanks to her elemental affinities, the pancakes extra fluffy inside but just the right crunchiness on the outside. They were a perfect golden brown, and Vera worked the griddle and had breakfast done and cooked within half an hour, easy. She set the piles of pancakes, bacon and sausage on the table and got out some orange juice from the fridge, as well as the jams she had made plus the ones she had bought. "If you want maple syrup, we have some, but it is REALLY strong and sweet, the richest I've ever had," she warned Baihu, leaving it in its cupboard unless he wanted some, as she was taking some of the jam she had made for the morning's meal.OoC

Baihu smiled. "Maybe." He answered as he felts his brides finger tap his lip. He hoped that she would give him a kiss. When she didn't he retreated to the table. He looked at the stack before grabbing some and putting it on his plate along with some sausage and bacon. "Nah. Jam is fine. I'm not much of a syrup person anyways." He answered before taking the jam and spreading it on his pancakes. "So want to go shopping today. We can get some stuff for the wedding. Maybe pick out our wedding bands." He suggested. He wanted to keep Vera's mind off of the troubles she was having and didn't like to see her frown.

Vera furrowed her eyebrows a bit, but more in thought than a frown, though that was present a touch as well. Vera tilted her head to the side, taking a large amount of food as well but noticeably holding back so if Aurora came she could have some food there for her. Spreading some of her funky raspberry-strawberry-blueberry jam between a few pancakes, and the strawberry-blackberry between the rest, Vera tilted her head to the other side. "Shopping. Hmm. I guess we could..." She seemed more puzzled than hesitant, and looked at Baihu. "Your youngest probably would want to come. I don't stay up to date with the latest fashions, though I had an idea for the dress...and I think I might already know what I wanna do for your band." A small smile appeared and instantly disappeared, a quick raising and falling of lips as Vera thought, obviously pensive, before she put on a small secretive smile and nodded...but stayed silent.OoC

Baihu looked up from his food. He took a few moments to make sure his mouth was clean of any extra goodies that may pour out when he talked. "I don't care what you wear. Though I think it would be nice to have some Chinese influence in the wedding so maybe a red and gold dress." He commented. It would at least please his oldest daughter that they had not forgotten their heritage. "I want you to get something that you like. Remember I have the money to pay for anything."

She didn't answer, but Vera did nod, taking the empty dishes to the sink before sitting back down to finish her pancakes. Sipping her milk thoughtfully, the half-elf stared over Baihu's shoulder for a moment as she pondered, and arranged her thoughts. Then she gave a small smile, and shoving whatever remaining doubts she had back down to her id, Vera stood and gave Baihu a kiss on his cheek, close to the mouth; he had some jam there, and she quickly sneaked her tongue over to lick it off. Turning as if nothing unusual had happened, Vera took care of her dishes and worked on cleaning up the kitchen, just the barest hint of a blush on her cheeks and hidden by her hair.OoC

Baihu was getting excited as he moved closer to his help. He was hoping that she would finally kiss him, but when it got down to it there was no kiss between them. Much to Baihu's disappointment. He was going to protest, but thought it was best not to. "Why can't you just kiss me already." He said in a teasing manner, like it was a joke, but it really wasn't.

Vera shifted, uncomfortable since she had heard the serious note in Baihu's voice. How could she explain it? It wasn't like the half-elf completely understood it herself. She just felt...the timing wasn't right. How could Vera explain that, that it was just a sensation? She had agreed to the marriage, here they were even going to shop for the bands! A hand raised to touch the pendent around her neck, with Baihu's name in the Chinese characters, and Vera bowed her head. "I don't know..." she trailed off uncertainly, but rallied bravely. "What do you call what I just did then?" she teased back, without looking since the blush had come back up on her face from the quick lick Vera had given her fiancee. She ran her tongue along the back of her teeth, thinking about the taste of Baihu under the jam, and the blush would be a visible redness now, despite her hair down by her cheeks - it had gone back along her jaw and slightly down Vera's neck. "I've...never been kissed," Vera finally hazarded an attempt to explain. It was something new, frightening, with symbolism and a possessiveness Vera wasn't sure she enjoyed the thought of. Especially with her memories. Memories of abuse, wanting to break free...no, being thought of a possession would NOT be a good condition for Vera. Aside from that...she just didn't know, was still being too careful of her emotions and actions...to hell with it. "Tell you what...we can go shopping, and we can play a game." Vera's uncertainty faded, sounding almost relieved as she came up with the idea - dragons liked riddles, like games. Maybe, she could do this? "When we go into a store, I will pick some items, and you have to decide what items I picked. I may grab some to buy, and I may grab some items not to buy but look like I will anyway...every item you guess correctly that I've chosen, let's say, for the wedding or just items you think I might like, and you get a kiss." Vera finally turned and looked at Baihu with a wink, a finger up as she tilted her head. "Okay?" Things were as cleaned up as she could get them, and Vera leaned forward to gently touch Baihu's nose with her, visibly blushing a rosy pink again as she got closer to his face with barely-parted lips. "Is it a deal...?" she barely breathed, her lips almost...but not quite...touching his as she spoke. She puckered them, the slightest of brushes against Baihu's mouth, a quick flick of the tongue for more jam...and Vera was gone, totally red by now as she moved to take a shower since she hadn't after their exercise the night before.OoC

Baihu felt almost at once that he had messed up. He was never really good with other people. The moment he thought that was doing well was the moment that he messed up. It was his fact of life. Even if she seemed to cover up her words it was juts not the same. He was now going to answer awkwardly for the rest of the day. The damage was done. "That wasn't a kiss on the lips. It was the cheek." He answered. Then she mentioned that she had never kissed anyone. "So I'll be your first kiss then. Well when we do I'll promise not to bite." He joked back. Then came the suggestion of playin ga game for the prize. Baihu supposed that he could play the game, but there was one think about it. "Last time I played against a dragon I lost. What makes this one any different?"
