Dante was asleep in one of the small caves that held the villages equipment. Some of the villagers that were left got him out of Gurren and put him in there against a rolled up mat so he could sleep. He was snoring loud.

"Alright but we still need more people for Team Dai-Gurren and so we want Ms. Raider to come with us..."
Daisuke walked in and saw Miku reading.
"Whats up?"
"We're about to head out and I need Bro in the c**k pit.He can sleep in there and you can be in there too if you want...cause we do need a top shot like yourself."
Miku closed her books and grabbed her rifle and bag.
"Alright let me put my stuff in Gurren."
Daisuke grabbed his brother.
"Come one bro...we have to get going..."

"That's the thing....you do know that Raider is an enemy right? I'm only making her new glasses to help her eyesight. I plan to make a peace treaty with her and if not then we'll see if I can persuade her to join us." He said and gave a nervous chuckle, thankful he was in the cockpit of Eagle. Chances are that if they just fought the enemy then they know who Raider is...

Dante woke up and looked at Daisuke with a tired look. He yawned, but got up and stretched, "Were heading out? Alright then." He patted him on the head before getting to Gurren and getting in turning it on.

"Alright then...oh and brother you can sleep and Miku is going to piolet Gurren for a while, she's already in.She coming with us too."
Daisuke closed the hatch and started Lagann up and combined with Gurren.

Dante nodded and turned to Miku, "Thanks alot. When you get tired just wake me up and ill take over." He smiled before he got comfortable and fell back asleep.

"...Did you even hear me?" he asked in a small and weak tone, soon a loud noise was heard and he clenched his stomach. "Oh man...this isn't good...I forgot to eat while I was tuning up Gurren and Lagann..."

Miku turned the monitor on so she could talk to Kane.
"Don't worry I left you a meal in your glove comparment Kane knowing you were working so hard."
She turned it off and saw that Dante was leaning back but she was sitting on him.She just shook the thought out and got to driving.
Daisuke then started to drive as well.
"Come on Kane...we're going already the only place that we can jsut straight for is the waste lands."

"Thanks." he said with a smile before opening up the compartment and seeing some food. Kane took it and began to eat. It wasn't the first time though. "I know that..." he said as he continued to walk with them towards the wastelands.

"Alright lets..."Before anything, Daisuke saw something shining on his monitor.He got out and he saw a skeleton.When he looked he saw a pocket watch.He remembered his father having one.  He then freaked out and saw that it was his father.He dug and dug and dug until he saw his father's cape and pocket watch and his mother's white dress.He fell on his hands and knees and started to tear up.He screamed towards the midnight sky.

Kane looked at him and frowned, "I bet he was a great man." he said as he made his ganmen kneel beside the dug grave. The man got out of his cockpit and jumped down beside Daisuke. "I'll fix it if you want...that is if I got the parts."

Daisuke didn't looked at Kane.He handed him the pocket watch.
"Please...I want to leave it on his grave..."
Miku got out and walked beside Daisuke as well.
"And I can mend your mother's dress if you want..."
Daisuke nodded.He sat there as Miku went back to Gurren to get her needle and thread.

Dante woke up when Miku came back for her things. He looked past her and frowned as he saw what was going on. He ot out and went straight t Daisuk. He put an arm around him and pulled him close, "No tears now ok?'

Dante looked down at Daisuke and smiled, "No tears. They wouldnt want to see you sad and cry." He needed to stay strong. If he broke down then he wouldnt be seen as the strong leader.
