He turned away, unable to bear her gaze. A shiver ran up his spine, and he hated himself for being so weak on this matter.
"I just came to tell you..."
What did he come to tell her? He wasn't sure anymore.. He just felt like he had to say something.
"I'm sorry."
He mumbled before taking off at a brisk walk, in the direction in which he had come.
"With yeeeew?"
He asked, wrinkling up his nose playfully, a smile appearing on his face. He soon forgot about his mother's troubling visitor, and lept at Ceari,a small roar escaping him as he pounced at her.

Anya came back into the clearing. The scent of blood wafted through the air as the dead gazelle hung in the hunter's jaws. It was a stag with alot of fat around the belly. She came into the clearing and slightly stared wide-eyed at the unknown male. Her tail waved as her ears twitched looking over at them. Stepping into the cave, she put the meat down and proceeded outside to wash off the blood as well as to find Akin. Stepping into the river, she washed herself clean and swam a little bit. The water was relaxing and she loved to swim in it. She still couldn't get her mind off of that unusual visitor though.

The Silver King watched the lone male leave his pride with a watchful silver eye. He had guts, walking into his lands without announcing himself and then not introducing himself to the King. He lost his weariness when the male left Jalara, and decided to follow him out. Akin smiled at the wrestling cubs and Anya before melding into the grass.
Jalara blinked at the male. "You're sorry?" She wasn't, she had Ceari and Eupe. They meant the world and more to her. Jalara would be forever thankful to Yves.
"Agh!" The darker cub pawed at her brother, hind feet kicking at his side.

((Came to poke at things a bit if you don't mind guys... Thought I would have my teen King Rellick seek an Ally here.. Maybe that will help? o.o))
Rellick, on his way home, hesitated at the Pride Lands he had passed on the way out. The scent of the King rolled to him, as well as the distant smell of the Pride, and he felt-for some reason- like he knew the King. The thought had troubled him all the way out to Kallivenion's Lands, where he made Allies with the Chocolate King of Cyan Serenity. Now as he returned, the King of Scarlet Shadows, he wondered if it would not be smart to become allies with the neighboring land. "I must know why his scent is so familliar." Rellick murmured to himself, and then gathering what air he could, he gave the loudest roar he could manage. 'Still a teen.. Not quite as good as it could be...' He smiled bitterly, giving another.
((In case anyone is wondering.. Rell met/saw Akin in Rackna's lands when Rell was just a cub.. sweatdrop ))

Akin broke off the lone males trail when he heard the roars. He trotted towards the male, tail and head held high. Sounded young...maybe a loner looking for his lands? Karver's words and his worry over his family had spurned the young King to start thinking a bit more realistically. Yet if the male was looking for his lands he wouldn't be introducing himself.
He sat by a small break-off of the lake and roared back. Might as well find out what it was he wanted.

Rellick was all set to return home when he heard the responding roar. The voice jogged his memory, and he realised who's lands he was in. He grinned and roared. "AKIN! AKIN IT'S RELL!" He called, voice dripping with joy. The teen pranced in place, deliriously happy, and waited to see the Silver King.

The Silver King, however, did not remember the Scarlet Kings second son. He knew of the name, however. The older male padded over to his border and smiled at the teen. "Well met Rellick."

Rellick gave a deep bow. "Greetings Silver King.. I come with a question.. One I hope you will give the answer to.. At least, the answer I want to hear." He smiled, and settled. "As a new King, and one so young, I find it would be wise to seek Allies. Your lands are very near to my own, and so it seems it would be wise to ask you.. Would you ally Silver Dawn with Scarlet Shadows?" As he spoke his eyes strayed to his home, and he nodded towards it, smiling at the sight of Brooke's blue figure.

Akin's eyes went towards the lands the Prince ruled. There was a contemplative rumble in his chest. The youngster had been nearly under his nose and he had never noticed.
"Well, one can't have a Dawn without Shadows, can you?"

Rellick grinned. "No Silver King.. And when the sun rises, silver and scarlet sometimes wind up side-by-side." He turned from his lands, back to Akin, not wanting to seem disrespectful. With a thoughtful c**k of his head, he eyed the silver king. "Is your answer yes then?"

"Of course." Akin sat down, giving his mane a shake. "And now...could I ask you of a favor?"

Rell grinned and nodded. "Of course Silver King.. How may I be of help?" His heart was at last calm, knowing he had allies that would help him defend Brooke and Amaree, and he felt it was only right he help them in whatever way he could.

The adult heaved a sigh at the thought of his eldest and heir. "Jayvyn...my son..." His eldest not only wanted his own lands but wouldn't believe of the responsibility that went with. A party-going lion and a pain in the rear end to boot. "He wishes to lead his own Pride, leaving my own to Essence. Yet he will not learn anything from me."
"Take him with you, please. He may listen to someone his own age."
